Great food and great service. The sauce for the garlic knots is amazing. We had pizza and caprese salad — both were delicious.

I was expecting more given the hype from the hotel, but it was still pretty good. The dishes we had were the chicken and veal parm, with salads. It was competent Italian food, the quality of the sauce was nothing special, and the pasta was cooked a little beyond al dente. Wine list was decent and reasonably priced.

Mr. Owner, who tried to tell me you just went to a «ABC class» and used Virginia law as an excuse not to cork a bottle of wine brought in from outside please read this: Under a new state law, Virginians will be allowed to bring their own wine into a restaurant — if the dining establishment allows. Senate Bill 1292, which takes effect July 1, will allow any ABC-licensed restaurant to permit customers to bring a bottle of wine into the establishment and drink it on the premises. Restaurants that have such policies will be able to bill customers a «corkage fee» — a service charge that usually ranges from $ 10 to $ 75. The bottle I brought in was a 90.00 bottle of wine. If you had anything comparable I would have bought it… I also offered to pay a 25.00 cork fee which you refused again citing the ABC class and not being told that. Only after I offered to show you the statute, you said it wouldn’t matter. Just be up from with people and post your policy. if you had not played stupid and used VA law as an excuse to be greedy and sell wine from your restaurant I would have stayed anyway. So you lost 75.00 over someone bringing in their own wine? Pretty stupid business move in my opinion. Plenty of competition here though.

Excellent restaurant with homemade sauces. The staff is friendly and thoughtful. though it was busy, they always made time to stop my table to check up. The price is spot on and the portions are large.

Great food! Fantastic service! I have eaten here a few times recently, both with large groups. The servers were so nice and very attentive. One note, for large parties it did take about 2 hours for the whole meal. There potions are huge and delicious. Tasted authentic. Chicken was a little tough. Cannolis are wonderful. On a very high note: I have T1 diabetes and my insulin pump ran out of batteries at dinner. The waiter was very understanding and was nice enough to check to see if the kitchen had a battery. Vito hand delivered a battery to me. I could not be more thankful! A+, I will be back :)

I visited this location with a sports team on a Friday night. They put us in a separate room so we could all sit together! It was really appreciated. When we arrived, salads and water were already on the table– which was awesome because we were famished! Soon after, platters of garlic knots arrived. Let me tell you something — these garlic knots were buttery and amazinggg. The kitchen staff had our food orders and our dinner came out promptly with no mistakes. The portions were perfect. Our waitress was awesome! Our seating area was freezing. We were in a side room that had multiple fans. We asked our waitress to turn them off. It felt as though there was NO heat in the room. The rest of the restaurant was a normal temperature.

Very simple. Placed a take-out order. Got home, order was wrong. Called, they apologized and offered a full refund. Went in the next day and they argued with me about it. Inexcusable!

A very cute Italian restaurant near the Food Lion and McD in Harrisonburg. My server, Ally, was extremely sweet and made sure everything was perfect. The one complaint is that they could use some new furniture, the booth seats were ripped up. They have a lunch deal where you can get a couple bucks off your meal and different deals throughout the week as well. They have a patio, bar and a carry out option. Vito’s also has a private party room that you book in advance at no charge as well. It’s extremely convenient. The pastas come with a house salad, choice of dressing and garlic knots. I always get the rigatoni con salsiccia which I’m never able to pronounce to this day. There is an abundance of mushrooms, tomatoes, sausage and sauce. The sauce is to die for… Seriously I could eat it every day. This place is an absolutely favorite!

Went there two nights in a row. Food and service was excellent the first night. I ordered the calamari on the second night. It was the worst I have ever had. Chewy and dried with mostly tentacles. Please take it off your menu. My entrée was good, service was mediocre.

Food was amazing and Nicole was awesome! Loved sitting outside and having some privacy for our larger party. Was a little disappointed that they didn’t honor a certificate I had even if they no longer participate as it would’ve been proper customer service to offer up something. But would still recommend it to anyone. We plan to make it an annual stop when we are in town to stay at Massanutten. Thank you!

This place was amazing the minute we walked in. Our waitress brought my daughters pizza dough to play with, which I thought was genius! Our staff was super friendly and helpful recommending food. I read on an earlier review that Vitos has the best Eggplant parm, yes this is true, I have never had it better. The house dressing is to die for, as well as the rest of the food. This place is a keeper!

We came into Vito’s with a large group of 37 people. They accommodated us out on their patio and were MORE than helpful. All of the servers were excellent and extremely friendly. The pizza and salad is so delicious and i would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone I know.

A first class Italian restaurant. I had the spaghetti with marinara for my first visit. But they have a broad menu, good service, and fine atmosphere. My wife and I plan to return soon.

This was a very good Italian restaurant. We sat outside in a very nice patio area. The service was very good and the food was delicious. I had chicken parmigiana and I have to say it was one of the best I’ve had(I get it everywhere I go). The pizza dip appetizer was a little spicy but it was very good. I also tried a little of the carbonara and it was good. It was interesting because they added a hint of cinnamon. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

Returned to Vito’s this past weekend to have a JMU graduation celebration dinner. We had reservations for 11(roommates and their family) and the food, service and overall experience was a grand way to end graduation day. We had eaten at Vito’s before and it was our recommendation that we selected Vito’s. No one was disappointed with their dinner choices. The only complaints were feeling too full. If we ever have a reason to return to Harrisonburg, we will eat at Vito’s again.
