I was visiting a friend in Harrisburg and went to the mall for something to do. We stopped into this wonderful little chocolate shop. The associate working couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. I purchased a variety of items to take home with me and now my friend brings me the wonderful Gertrude Hawke items when she comes here to visit me! Would recommend their salted carmels for sure and in the fall their pumpkin meltaways are killer good!

Good chocolate but the staff was super pushy. No I do not need help finding anything(for the third time)… It’s a chocolate shop not a hardware store.

Went to mall just to get some of their chocolate. What a waste since I waited ½ hour for someone to come back an open back up. Be back in 10 min, was the sign on the gate. Nobody came back… not much of a way to run a store or mall… stores should always have enough coverage for this not to happen. Too bad, since I was shopping for a gift and had a list of things to get!

Can’t believe I didn’t write a review on this place! As a true choco-holic, I was drawn to this place by a mysterious force. I have to agree with Lyn that this may be the top draw to this mall. I didn’t try the nuts but they were having a special on fudge when I went. Darn. I had a minimum number of pounds to purchase … oh well(hehe). I had the pistachio, the turtle(caramel) and the one with nuts. Mmmmmmm … yum! The only reason I didn’t give four stars was because I just reviewed Josh Early in Bethlehem and these two are on different levels.

This gourmet candy store is *the* reason to visit the somewhat boring Harrisburg Mall. They had a great selection of all sorts of treats — I bought candy bars, individually wrapped chocolate/peanut butter dipped pretzels and a couple of the pint sized candy containers. But the best thing to get there? Fresh Warm Glazed nuts. I got the almonds and they were just like getting street nuts in NY.(That’s a good thing!!!)
