I ate breakfast at this Farmer Boy restaurant on a recent visit to the valley to visit my Dad. He’s 95 years old and we have to really encourage him to eat these days as nothing seems to appeal to him. We wanted to find a central spot to meet some other family and have breakfast and visit a bit so this restaurant fit the bill on both counts. Am I ever glad we did! We ordered off the kids menu for Dad thinking he wouldn’t eat much of anything. Were we ever wrong! He ate it all, eggs, bacon, and pancake. I know this doesn’t sound like a big deal, but you have no idea what a big deal it was. The food was fresh, the service was great and everyone else was equally pleased with they’re meals. This is just good old fashion food cooked fresh, delivered by attentive courteous staff in a very clean environment. I for one will be back when visiting in the future. Next time we’ll try their other menu items.

I had the cheeseburger there with fries and fried zucchini on the side. The burger was good; the fries and fried zucchini were BURNT. I was so disappointed because I’d visited one in LA and I expected GOODFOOD but was quickly let down. Never going there again!!!

We just had the worst experience here. The food is always good but our cashier could not get anything right. For two people placing an order we had to correct him literally ten times. «Would you like your milk now or with your meal?» «Now please.» «O.k. With your meal.» «No, now please.» «What kind of toast» «Wheat» «That was white right?» «No wheat please» the entire order went that way.

Fried zucchini is my favorite, but my husband loves there breakfast burritos. Everything made fresh so it’s a little bit of a wait but worth it.

I have been in Farmer Boys twice, and the food was really good. However the service could have been a bit better.

Horrible service, we waited over 30 minutes for our food. Normally I can forgive bad service if the food is good. But the food reminded me too much of high school cafeteria food. Bad cafeteria food not worth a 30 minute wait.

Great food although the prices are a bit high compared to other nearby places. The décor is very cluttered but it is also very clean. No dust bunnies hanging from the plants or other items on the walls and shelves. Food is good but I think it’s a bit pricy for what you get.

Their menu is relatively unvaried/undescriptive as far as meals go, especially on the burger side. It seems like an ideal place for those with confused stomachs. Do you like eating early but also want to start the day off with a /burger/? You have successfully located nirvana.

Omg I was very skeptical about eating here, I read some reviews and I almost turned around for In-n-Out, but I’ve had In-n-Out hundreds of times so it was time to try something different. First of all, I came through the Drive Thru, the person who assisted me was very nice and courteous. The same goes for the person at the window, I do not know if it was the same person, but that’s besides the point! The hamburger was so delicious! Every single bite, the beacon was really good… Everything was excellent. I had a great experience and I will definitely seek out this restaurant much more from now on. As far as pricing goes, I was ok with it. I drive around a lot for work, so these are not that bad of prices that I’ve seen around. I guess if you compare them to McDonalds, but then again, quality and taste!

Our order was placed at 12:18pm. It is 12:54pm. Still no food. They lack proper courtesy in even acknowledging the obvious mistake… At 12:56 we get a worthless 25% off next time card. Like, «you think we are coming back!?!» Cmon now In ‘n Out is next door! No stars here!!! Can’t say anything about the food because it only seems to exist in pictures.

I think some people complain just to say something. This place is always good no matter what I ordered. Quality is always good. Yes it is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Beats all the usual fast food by miles. Nuff said I think.

The inside was kind of trashy & dirty maybe because it was rush hour. Anyways, food was nothing to rave about it was lacking flavor. I would not go back definitely not worth the money.

Farmer’s Boys… the place flavor came to die. I can’t comment on the service, my husband went to pick us up dinner after asking me what I wanted. Let’s try Farmer’s Boys, I say. That’s new to us… I’ve seen my neighbor with Farmer’s Boys bag. What could possibly go wrong. My husband returned home with a scowl on his face and muttered something under his breath about the price. That’s never good. And we weren’t even into the food yet… My husband opens the box and starts unwrapping food. The burgers were sloppily tossed together, one wasn’t even all the way in between the buns. Remember, you eat with your eyes first and all I could think of was how I was really going to hear about how I was the one to pick this place. Oh please oh please let this food be decent. Sadly, I am hereby now awarding Farmer’s Boys with«The Funky Onion» award. That’s my new award that I just made up for the WORST onion rings I have ever eaten in my entire life. Like my whole life. All 42 years… er, I mean 29. Ugh… have they heard of seasoning at Farmer’s Boys??? Salt? It comes in a shaker, you shake it onto the food??? Ok, here’s the breakdown… my husband and I each got the Natural burger with the mixed side consisting of zucchini sticks and onion rings. Lord, the size of the these things. You know what they say about size. Oh wait, I’m thinking of something else. These things were huge and each bite I took just irritated me more and more as I contemplated if there was some salt shortage that I had yet to read on my Yahoo home page. The burgers were ok. Just ok, They weren’t bad, they weren’t good… they were just ok. My kids were brave and each got tuna melts and fries. My 15 year old daughter was… what’s a polite word for ticked off. That’s what she was. She literally tore open her bread and held the sandwich up for us to behold. Behold the lack of tuna, she huffed. Then she announced that the fries were gross. We tried some to see just how bad. They were soggy and there was a noticeable lack of(say it with me now)… SALT. So, needless to say, I can’t see myself ever returning here and I truly do not understand how businesses with sub-par food stay in business. If you want a burger, I recommend Mikes in Hanford, In and Out, or Carl’s Jr. if Mike’s isn’t open and ya gotta get that fast food burger fix.

This place is a little pricey but the burgers are really good!!! The frys aren’t the best ever but they aren’t bad by any means. When I want a «fresh» burger as in avocado, good lettuce, fresh tomato, ect over carmalized onions and doctored mayo, this is were I go.

Service today is poor. Haven’t tried the food yet so can’t comment there. Walked in, no hi how are you for about 3 min, and I was the only one in line. Got my food quick, had to ask for cutlery and lemon and the employee seemed annoyed. It’s not busy. There are only 2 more tables In use. Must be the heat!

Stopped in for breakfast this morning. 1st time visitor. The menu feels a bit pricey… I would have given another star, but for my burrito. Ordered the breakfast burrito w/sausage…you know how scrambled eggs taste when you leave them on the stove a little too long? Well that’s the flavor that rung true in this burrito. Otherwise a clean restaurant and servers pleasant and attentive.

I had my first experience with Farmers Boys today. My partner and I were on our way to Sonic, next door, and the sight of the banner made us turn right instead of left. If the price for the combo is $ 6.99, two are $ 13.98. Tax rate for this county is 7.5% so tax for that is $ 1.05, for a two combo total of $ 15.03. NOT $ 16.95. In California, this happens a LOT. Usually, with Kentucky Fried Chicken or Long John Silvers, It’s between 40 – 60 cents. NEVER have I been overcharged eight cents short of $ 2. Normally, I will ask to speak to a manager, however I was in a hot car, with my partner and our new puppy, and I thought maybe to save stress all the way around, I’d vent by posting here and writing to the headquarters. I am hoping to get a response to my letter — they can not feel good about becoming aware that their stores may be stealing nearly $ 2.00 from every customer — which is, of course how it seems to me. On the other hand, the burgers were delicious, the onion rings and zucchini were hot and fresh, the accompanying ranch sauce was delicious, and just the right consistency for dipping — not too thin, not too thick. The fries were not hot nor crisp, and the portion for fries(even for a 2 side combo) were small. The onion rings portion was fine, and zucchini portion was generous.(Did I mention hot and delicious?) Yet being overcharged by 13% is enough to make me wonder if the good food is worth another visit.

Very good. Quick service and delicious food. Way better burger than In-N-Out. Good fries and the portions are more than filling. I would definetely come back again.
