I don’t understand how a burger restaurant in this day and age simply does not have a veggie burger option. It’s so easy. Just buy them frozen and have them available when you have a group of people come to your restaurant and there’s a vegetarian in the mix. While they DO offer a vegetarian option, it’s just vegetables in between the bun. No, no, no this is unacceptable. With such an extensive menu, one little tweak such as offering a veggie patty would make a huge difference for many people. Sure, a lot of people may not choose the vegetarian burger, just like I’m sure a lot of people may not choose the fried okra. Problem is, they do offer the latter. So unless you want a deep fried something, a vegetarian will not find something here… except grilled cheese… but I’m not 8 years old. Two stars because the vegetable fries were good. But not enough to bring me back again.

we spontaneously went to Big Boy tonight and I was rather impressed. I got the Old school which was pretty good, my husband got the Famous Boy(YUM!), we ordered a corn dog and chicken nuggets(nice crunch!) for our kids which they gobbled up, and jalapeño poppers(creamy inside and just the right amount of spice from the jalapenos). My burger was good, but next time I’ll ask for light on the bbq sauce and less raw onion. The fries were excellent though! The reason I gave four stars was the wait time. it was a little long, but I understand that they make everything to order, so I can’t complain too much. It’s definitely worth another shot to try more of the menu and maybe a dessert too next time.

After several false starts they finally opened. Giving them a couple weeks to work out their bugs on others more anxious than I, my wife and Iwent with a group of four for lunch. Prices — OK — 3 stars or so Food– OK– 3 stars also Service — excellent — 4 stars Speed — could have been faster for the amount of people waiting — 2 stars Why the overall rating of 1 star? They charged me 50 cents for a cup of water. I understand drought, but water is customarily provided at no charge — especially when a meal is purchased. I will NEVER return there! At least until I get written assurance here on Unilocal that there will not be any more charges for water to anyone.

I went over to greet them on 12⁄1 and welcome them to Hanford. I met Muhammad the owner and he was extremely nice. I ordered the #8 Famous Boy; a cheeseburger with bacon and a fried egg. It was amazing !!! The bread, the melted cheese, it was perfect. The fries were good, standard drive-in krinkle fries. They use season salt(or all-seasoning) We do have a lot of burgers in town, in-n-out & habit are very good but the options available at this small drive-in is more than anywhere else. I wish them the best of luck

This place is delicious! First day i went I had the chicken sandwich with avocado on sourdough, second time I went i had a cheeseburger. Sorry i did not take pics! Both times i was impressed, food was fresh and cooked perfectly. French fries and curly fries are on point! Crushed ice too! Tried a sample of the pastrami fries and oh man i will go back for more. Dont let the other reviews fool you, give this place a try. Only thing is expect to wait a bit for your food. The employees are also super nice!

Ok, that’s my rating. The burger is good, not great. I had the«Old School» #3 my bacon was burnt(see picture). I then removed the bacon and I’m rating the burger without bacon. The bread has a nice crisp exterior and soft interior, so a good quick grilling of the bun, which I enjoyed. The meat is seasoned to a pretty average taste you’d expect from a «drive-in» place. If you like bacon, this might not be the place, but if you don’t they make a good burger. The price… that’s what makes this a 3 Star. Taste to price, is not good. My diet Pepsi was delicious for some reason, I like a good soda, so I had to throw that in.

I don’t want to start off to on bad note, but any business that not only advertises outside with a large sign that reads«NOWOPEN» but also on Facebook should actually be «open.» I’ve been anticipating the opening of this location for several weeks now since bumping into an advertisement for a similar location in another city on Facebook. I checked out that locations Unilocal review and menu and was impressed. I couldn’t wait for this place to open up. I drove past this location on Tuesday 11⁄10 around 5 in the afternoon and notices the now open sign along with 2 people standing in line and maybe 3 or so sitting as if they were waiting for their order. My first official attempt at coming here was on 11⁄12(Thursday) at about 8:30. I was met with an empty parking lot, lights off and handwritten sign on the window which read closed. I saw not times of operation or anything of the sort. I did observe what appeared to be 2 employees just sitting there inside talking to one another. I did not attempt to make contact and simply left and went to In N Out instead. They never fail me and are open late. I figured maybe is was past their open hours so I just left. My second attempt at this location was on Friday 11⁄13 around 6 p.m. Once again I was met with a dark location and this time caution tape around the perimeter. Did a violent crime occur here? This place is literally across the street from the Hanford Police Department. I did not notice any work being done on the parking lot, but did observe several individuals on the back part of the building as if they were unloading a vehicle and taking items into the place. My third and so far last attempt was on Saturday 11⁄14 around noon. Same caution tape around the parking lot and building. I did not see anyone inside, but the«NOWOPEN» sign was still outside as shown in my picture of the location. I could not help but to add this business to Unilocal and write this review. At this point I may or may not try again. It’s certainly not out of my way, but fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice and a third time, shame on me. We shall see what happens.
