Pretty much what I expected in a buffet. For less than $ 10 per person, it was worth the price. Diverse selection, service was prompt and drinks were always full so no complaints. My fiancé will definitely be back soon.

I love this place! The food isn’t the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, but you get a little of everything you want for only $ 10. Whenever I’m craving Chinese I come here.

Worst food ever. Seafood tasted like throw up. I took one bite and left. My kids who normally eat everything did not want to eat. Don’t recommend

This is truly one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time. There was not a single item that impressed me. Fish served covered in water, chicken with broccoli without a single piece of chicken. Even the desserts were lousy. The best thing I could say about this place is that at least the food was hot.

The food was not the greatest. The General Tso’s chicken was soggy. I think the poor guy lost the war. Service was good, but scarcely able to find anything that stood out.

We go here because it is the only place that I know of that serves frog legs. And I do like my frog legs. They do have unique entrees unlike other buffets and the wait staff is prompt. Depending on the time of day if the buffet food is fresh. The more people the merrier.

This buffet has customer service that makes me & my boyfriend keep going back. They will make special dishes at no extra cost due to mine & his allergies. Also the décor is very zen & relaxing. Music is at a perfect level to either enjoy or to maintain a normal level conversation. Decent variety on buffet food but not the best tasting all around but it’s made up for in other areas. I suggest this place for a relaxing Sunday afternoon.

Found this place through Unilocal(thank you) and it got my attention because the have a Mongolian Wok. Sadly Mongolian wok have died out in New York over the years but the draw is that you pick your own veggies and meat, add some sauces of your choosing, then Viola! Fresh cooked meal and tasty if you picked well. They also have a sushi train so you can pick from the preselected sushi items and try different things. The sushi was very decent for buffet standards. What the reviews did NOT do justice too was the price. They could have led with: $ 11.99 buffet. 11.99! Dinner with a ton of choices from all different Asian cuisines. And by the way it’s only 11.99. Starbucks Venti and any food item ten bucks. Whole buffet with tons of options 11.99. Really! Don’t over think this review. Feed a family of four picky eaters for 48 bucks and move on

Very nice décor, helpful staff and a nice variety of food with an area that has options for kids such as Mac and cheese and pizza.

Not terrible, but not really worth it. If you like cheap buffets and you’re killing time before a movie at AMC24, then go for it.

I know its just a buffet place, but its one of my favorite places to eat when I go to Hampton. The food is reasonably priced, and taste delicious.

I’m a health nut but attend a monthly meeting here. I stuck to the steamed veg. Steamed seafood. Cold veg. Sushi. Those are the items I don’t see on many of the others plates. I think for the price the food is hot. Fresh. Tasty. You are what you eat. Stick to the good stuff.

So I was craving Chinese and i wanted a lot of options so I know it was time for a buffet. I’m a little wary of buffets but seeing that many Unilocalers rated this joint highly we decided to make an appearance one fine afternoon. Their lunch buffet is about $ 6 with tax if you don’t buy a drink which is super cheap. I was disappointed. They had various westernized Chinese food options, about about ten simple sushi options and comfort foods like pizza and mac and cheese. The food was not tasty at all and overall i was disappointed. I wont be going back. However, the décor was pretty.

This was the first time my family went here. We usually go to Buffet City in Newport News, VA off of Warwick Blvd. We thought it would be the same. This was a waste of our money. $ 8.99 for the dinner buffet and the food wasn’t even hot. This has got to be the worst Chinese food restaurant ever. I don’t know what the other people saw in here. If you want good Chinese food, go to Buffet City!!!

I decided to try this spot out after screening a film at the nearby AMC24. Outside of the impressively low lunch price I wasn’t blown away. The interior was very cool — the blue wallpaper combined with the statues are a nice touch. But when it came to service I felt like I was invisible. That’s not uncommon at a restaurant buffet but after I was graciously greeted and seated by a young male, I was nearly finished with my first plate before my drink order was even given to me. I saw the server only one more time before getting my check, and oddly they were very quick to give me that. They didn’t even ask if I was ready to pay, they just plopped it down on my table not one minute after I took my final bite. It seemed like I was bothering them or something and they were just waiting for me to leave. As for the food, for the price it wasn’t bad. There’s a decent variety of items, so I think it’ll cover most peoples’ tastes. The only problem is that it lacked taste and quality, and being a huge sushi fan I opted not to try theirs merely based on how it looked. I know its tough to expect high-quality from a buffet but I’ve seen better from places that boast poorer decors. Add to that the apparent leprocy I carried(c’mon, was ordering a glass of water that big a deal?) and it left me upset that I even tried this place out. I’m not going to be too upset about the experience — I really can’t complain about a $ 6 lunch. But I would think twice about going since it seemed like I wasn’t a priority during my stay. JV

A very nice chinese buffet. Excellent décor and ambience, not your typical seedy buffet. Usually chinese buffets skeeze me out, but this one was really clean, very nicely decorated, and didn’t have the usual«smell». Food choice was plentiful, and everything I tried off the buffet was really good, and seemed very fresh. Attendants were constantly cleaning the serving area, as well as replenishing the supply of food(they didn’t keep HUGE supplies out, so better to keep the food fresher). Also had a good selection of non-Chinese items(good for kids or whoever), such as pizza, hot dogs, mac and cheese, etc. I didn’t try any of the sushi, but they did have it there. Also a nice looking bar area. Small selection for dessert items, but that seems to be par for course in chinese buffet restaurants — but the carrot cake I had was really excellent. We were early for the dinner crowd, so we had no wait, and very attentive service. $ 9 for adult buffet, a good price. I will def. be returning to this place, in fact I believe it will be our go-to Chinese buffet joint.

Our favorite Chinese buffet restaurant. Very reasonably priced and consistent. Only complaint is at we eat there so often, I wish they would mix it up sometimes and change the items on he buffet… I can go down th lines with my eyes losed because everything is in the same place week after week.

When I was living there I pretty much was their regular customer. When i visit i usually drop by there and have lunch.(You know when you go there so much they remember to take you to your regular booth, haha) The place is very well decorated with ponds, statue, dim lighting(who said buffet cant be romantic) many seats arranged in 2, 4, or larger groups including both booth and chairs. As for the food, they have a LARGESELECTION, tons of sushi, soup, seafood, american food, desert. The price is decent for the variety of food. It is a must for someone with a big appetite but don’t want to pay like $ 80+ at a japanese steak house.

Peking is a good Chinese buffet in Hampton by the AMC24. All of the food items are pretty solid; I even enjoyed the mac & cheese and the pizza, oddly. I like the noodles and the spicy beef, but the fried rice is solid, too. The wait staff is a little weird in that they are not at all friendly. They aren’t rude, per se, but they are certainly aloof and indifferent to you. They keep the plates moving and the drinks filled, but that’s it. No big deal; I don’t expect much more than this. To the place’s credit, the interior is really nicely done. There’s this really strange scene they created with statues of traditional Chinese figures, and there is a sort of blue-ish ambiance that I like for some reason, perhaps because they broke away from the overused red décor you find in most Chinese food establishments.
