Excellent chicken! Fries are seasoned and it was delicious. Got 4 tenders with bread, fries, and a drink for $ 5.99. Great price for the food. We also ordered the catfish and it was very tasty and not dry! Chicken was juicy. It’s a nice couple that works in the back and they’re so cute. The place is pretty clean for the most part. I will definitely come back here!

Catfish plate was pretty tasty but they forgot the hush puppies which sadly are my favorite part. I would eat there again but will be checking my order before I leave.

Based on other reviews the catfish is really really good here for fast food. They give you big pieces of fish. I love the hush puppies to. Their fries are made fresh to order. The fries are seasoned properly and without a lot of salt. everything was made fresh that I ordered and piping hot. I’m really glad I stopped in. This is my new spot for getting catfish.

Some of the best food in town, I’ve lived in the area for 4 years and was always hesitant to try this place! It’s one of my favorites! Their tartar sauce is my favorite if I’m eating their shrimp or catfish! Their fried okra is great, too! The food is really affordable and the people that work there are some of the sweetest! Food is served quickly and with a smile. Their hush puppies are great too! I all around enjoy this establishment!

I used to come here for the chicken strips and fries, then I tried their catfish… It is always so good! It’s probably the best I’ve ever had and it’s in a little spot next to Braum’s. I’ll keep coming back here as long as they’re open.

I saw the great reviews on Unilocal so tried this place out. I ordered spicy chicken wings, chicken strips, some dark meat pieces, and some fries. The fries were very good! But the rest was ok. The spicy wings were very salty and not spicy. The chicken strips and the chicken pieces were not good enough for me to return. I had such high hopes! So disappointed!

Great value on food. Ordered 1 fried catfish, 1 shrimp, regular okra and 3 pieces of eggroll. All for only 6.99. Love the fried catfish. It tasted fresh and was well seasoned. Although the okra was not salted, it was a big portion for such a low price. Great place and I would definitely come back when I have cravings for catfish.

I love this place! My best friend and her hubby took me to eat here it was so delicious. The food is so tasty and delicious. I love the chicken and corn nuggets! It’s very fair priced. The cashiers and cooks are nice. It’s a hip happening place and there’s a people eating there. I recommend if your in Haltom city it’s a Must place to visit !

Best catfish I’ve tasted in a long time. ONLY place I’ll eat catfish from actually. ALWAYS piping hot and fresh. Great prices, friendly service. Tried chicken once, it was pretty good, but the catfish is so good that’s the only thing I ever order.
Just go, you won’t regret it. And don’t let the hole in a wall look scare you.

This fish is amazing, super good chicken! The sweet tea is even amazing! Getting past the name, do not miss the egg rolls and fried rice, it is beyond words! The building is an old hot dog place and that looks the same, but comfortable. The place get pretty busy at times because it is so great!!!

The meal here is very well priced! $ 4.75 for 3 piece fried chicken (leg & thighs) with fries and a drink, but that’s seems to be where the great part ends.
I went at an off-​peak time (About 1pm, weekday). The chicken I got was a little warmer than room temperature and tasted like it’s been sitting for awhile. The chicken was not exactly flavorful either. It came with the crinkle cut fries you might see in the frozen aisle, which was hot (temperature-​wise).
I may come again and try out something else. But it seems that I better come only when it is super busy.

I have been going to this place for a while. Very affordable. Its not really close to my house so I can call my order in and it is ready for me when I get there. One evening I called on my way home to make an order. No sooner than when I placed my order the freeway shut down. They called me to see if I was still on my way. I explained to them that the freeway was closed and I was be there as soon as possible. Long story short, they stayed open and waited for me to pick up my order. It was a good 15 minutes past closing time. They will always get my chicken strip and catfish business for that simple act of kindness.

My husband and I have been going to this place for years. They have the best fried catfish in the area and we frequent it often even though we have moved out of the area. Their fried chicken and gizzards are also delicious! Everything is made when you order it so the wait might be a little longer, but you can always call in and pick it up if you’re short on time!
