Rosehaven Inn

My partner and I stayed here for a romantic weekend. It was everything that we hoped it would be and more! The house is absolutely gorgeous and beautifully decorated. Our room was clean, spacious, and had a big private bathroom with a whirlpool tub. The bed was absolutely one of the most comfortable beds that I’ve slept in. Breakfast was delicious and Kelly is such a fantastic cook and baker. Sean, Kellys husband, was so helpful with directions and gave us great suggestions on what to do in the area. They were both very accommodating and great hosts. The porch of the house was one of the best features, for it wrapped around the entire house and had places to sit and relax. I would highly recommend Rosehaven to anyone that is looking for a relaxing, romantic weekend with their significant other.

Kelly was very friendly and gave a lot of information when we first arrived. The room was comfortable and warm. The breakfast taste good. Would stay here again.

We stayed here as a couple in July. Lovely, lovely place! Kelly and her husband, who run the Inn, were both extremely friendly and accommodating. Check in/​Check out was easy as was booking, the Inn was very clean and breakfast was impeccable! Each morning we had a homemade pastry, something salty (egg dish) and something sweet (croissant bananas foster and waffles). Seriously — so good. In terms of location, we were close to the town of Hudson, a brewery and hiking. We also liked that the Inn was tucked back into the woods, and not right on a super main road. We would definitely book here again and may even be back in the winter… great relaxing time out of the city.

Could not have been any better! Everything you would ever want and more! :) Clean, comfortable and homey. Owners felt like the family we never had. Loved every detail, the warmth and friendliness from when we arrived to the time we left. We stayed in room three, the bed is firm, new, and comfortable. We brought our own pillows, but the pillows given would have been fine too. There is wooden floors, carpets, in room TV/​DVD player, wi-​fi, fireplace with timer, ceiling fan… We really loved everything. The view from the windows is breathtaking, you can easily see mountains! Very close to Hunter Mountain, the town of Tannersville, and Bastion Falls/​Kaaterskill Falls. Thank you! :D

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Rosehaven Inn. My husband and I booked a couple of nights as a means for a romantic getaway and some R&R before our first baby was born. My husband was looking to ski and I was looking to just relax… Rosehaven offered all of that and more.
The B&B is owned by a husband and wife but operated predominately by the wife, Kelly, who was very nice. Stays include a hearty breakfast (eggs, pancakes, or french toast) and the french toast is AMAZING. Kelly enjoys baking so while you are waiting for her to prepare your breakfast (from scratch, cooked to order) you get to sample whatever scone or muffin she has experimented with (they were all delicious). The home is beautiful. It has a lot of old home charm but has been completely renovated so you get the charm with all of the newer amenities. It offers 4 rooms on site and two other suites off-​site. We stayed in room 3 on site and loved our room. It was much bigger than we thought it would be based on the pictures on-​line and included a working fireplace, sitting area, shower, and whirlpool tub. The location of the home is also a plus as you are about a quarter mile off of the main road so it feels like an escape while still being very close to Hunter and Windham Mountains. The location also means beautiful views from the rooms and especially from the tub in the bathroom!
The price is extremely reasonable (a steal when you consider the quality of services received) and Kelly also sells discounted lift tickets to Hunter Mountain which is a plus!
