So I’ve been to Bleu House quite the amount of times, and I think overall, this is my favorite go-to café. What makes this my favorite? First, as a coffee drinker, I appreciate that this establishment serves actual drip coffee options, as opposed to many Asian places, that barely even have basic coffee. Second, the non-coffee options are really good here as well! I really like their sweetened tea drinks, and find them to be perfectly sweetened to my liking. Last but not least, the food selection they offer is not only impressive, but rather delicious! I’ve found myself here many a times, just to pick up a meal for myself. My favorites are definitely the Pork Belly Buns and the Angus Ramen Burger. Their fries are pretty tasty as well. The interior of the café is chic and cozy and they also provide free wi-fi for all your internet needs. Staff is friendly to boot!

Last Sunday my wife and I dinned at The Bleu House for the first time and were amazed. We started with a Potted plant Macchiato, a iced mint mojito and an order of house chiili cheese fries w beef, amazing. We shared orders of cucumber tuna roll, takoyaki, poke salad, shrimp fried rice and the crispy tropical waffle. Which were all above our expectations. The service, the atmosphere, the food and coffee were exceptional. This will be one of our go to spots for the foreseeable future.

I had this café bookmarked because my friend recommended this place, and since I was picking up a package around the area, I decided to pick this place to have a quick lunch. I wish I had gone to my trusted café in the area, though. [-1] I came in by myself since I was doing solo errands, and when I came in the girl sat me down and I checked in on Swarm while I waited for them to serve me. I realized that 15 minutes had passed and no one had come by to ask me if I wanted anything. I hadn’t even gotten water yet. [-2] 5 – 10 more minutes passed as I turned around in my chair to see if I could catch someone’s attention. The male waiter saw me searching and I waved to him, but he pretty much just stared at me and continued to stand there and not do anything. I was debating whether I should just leave, but the female waiter finally saw me and came over. Maybe it’s because I was eating by myself that nobody wanted to serve me? I was also sitting right smack in the middle of the café too… But at least she apologized for forgetting me. [-1] Unfortunately, the experience didn’t get much better. I figured now that I was getting served everything would be okay! I asked for a Baymax design on my sea salt green tea but when she came back with my drink, she said they couldn’t find the design and subbed it with another… *sigh* I wish she could have asked me if I still wanted a drink or asked me if I wanted a different design so I could choose, because I wouldn’t have ordered it if they didn’t have the design, but I didn’t really want to make a fuss. One of the selling points of me coming here was to get a Baymax drink. A lot of bakeries and cafes have to up their game when it comes to the designs that people want. It’s not only about the taste anymore, people also want the art presentation(or why do it at all) and to rest assured that they will receive what they are requesting and paying for. At least the drink was actually very good though, so good job on that part. [-1] I ordered house pasta with bacon but the noodles were too soft and not al dente. I guess they’re cooking it Asian style but I wasn’t expecting that in Italian spaghetti. [+1] The presentation of the food and drink was very nice and the lighting in the café made for nice pictures. The big glass doors also gave me an amazing view of the mountains, so that was also very nice. [+1] Food and drink came out SUPER fast. So plus there. Unfortunately, I did finish my food faster than the amount of time it took them to start serving me though, hahah. I spent more time waiting than actually eating so I won’t be recommending this place to my friends. The experience wasn’t good. I came here to relax and it ended up being stressful.

Ambience is amazing, menu is good, and drinks are really good! Lighting is really good for photos, I love it! I’ve seen some of their latte art and they’re so cute! You can even request designs, as long as they can make it. I wouldn’t mind coming here for a drink or two on a casual evening. I have no doubt they’ll stay longer than the previous owners, but every time I’m back home, this location changes, so I hope they stay. There’s still so many things on the menu I want to try! The spicy garlic fries were actually pretty good and their cold tropical tea was really good. This is what happens when I don’t review on the spot; I already forgot the drink’s name, but any tea with multiple fruit flavors in it should be good without a doubt!

I’m happy that I finally got around to trying this place! I’m a sucker for floral flavored anything, so I ordered the Potted Plant Rose Macchiato, which was delicious(and super cute)! The rose flavoring wasn’t overpoweringly sweet like a lot of other places, which was great. I would highly suggest their EXCELLENT Green Tea Crème Brûlée. The only downside was how cold it was in the restaurant! It was already a cold and windy night, so going into a place where the AC was so low that I wished I had another jacket was not how I wanted to end the day. Also, their bathroom smelled… not so nice. I guess that’s the sewer-like smell that some other reviewers had mentioned. Luckily, it didn’t flow into the seating area. I would definitely come back here to try some of their food and more of their drink selection. Overall, it’s a nice place!

First time here. You can spot the café right away. Decent parking. Smelled weird though. Not sure if its the garbage can or sewage problem… but it smells real bad. Hopefully it is a one time thing. 1) Black Sesame Macchiato: initial smell isn’t good. Smells like soy sauce. BUT macchiato is good! I wouldn’t reorder this again. 2) Green Tea Crème Brûlée: is a must try!!! Best crème brûlée I have tried. And I don’t like crème brûlée. I’m definitely coming back and ordering the horchata macchiato. And green tea crème brûlée.

Wow this place is awesome. Recently I’ve been on a search for dog friendly places. Came here on a rainy day and of course you can only sit on the patio, but it was still warm enough thanks to the overhead heater. It hasn’t been to crowded on the days I’ve been and the inside looks nice as well. Servers were friendly and brought water for my pup. Food is more of a three-to-four star here. Haven’t tried it all, however the wide selection of food makes this a great study spot. The ramen burger was delicious! Recommend. Also really enjoy the drinks here. Have my fav green tea sea salt latte and jasmine rose tea for which they can just keep on refilling the hot water. Will definitely be back again.

A good place for some drinks and small bites! They have a large selection of drinks, desserts, and food. I came with a group of 10 and everyone seemed to really like what they ordered… except the ramen burger. My friend said that it was bland and dipped his burger in his spicy garlic cheese fries sauce. The spicy garlic cheese fries were a group favorite. I think my table had a total of four orders of those. I didn’t try these, but they looked very heavy. LOTS of sauce. I was a little intimidated. I had the cream cheese wontons and the crispy rice with spicy tuna. The cream cheese wontons is what you would expect. I liked them. The crispy rice with spicy tuna was decent, but if I came back I would not order this again. The group ordered a few lattes and everyone seemed to enjoy it. The bear latte art was cute. My friend had a Hello Kitty latte art… but the ears were not visible so it looked kind of awkward. Overall, I think its a good place to hang out with friends. All the employees were nice.

Plenty of parking, friendly staff & food isn’t too bad. I came in the afternoon with my friend on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn’t packed at all nor did it get packed the entire time we were there. They have an outdoor patio so you can bring your doggies if you’d like. House tater tots: it has spicy mayo, cheese & bacon. We asked for the bacon on the side since I don’t eat meat. Love the spicy mayo with the tots, it forsure gave it more flavor than just having melted cheese on it. Tomago masubi: I was glad they had a veggie option for spam masubi. Tomago is Japanese egg on top of the rice and on the side it has furikaki seasoning. I felt like they put way too much rice compared to the amount of tomago there was. Can’t really eat that much rice if I don’t have enough egg to it with. I was kind of bummed that they didn’t have a veggie ramen burger option :(I really wanted to try a ramen burger, but I guess I’ll have to wait until another place has it. My friend got the cowboy ramen burger and he said it was just okay. He said it was exactly the same as eating the burger with bread. The fries they serve were surprisingly good. I was impressed because they looked dry, but they had a lot of flavor to it.

My roommate heard of this place so we decided to try this. It was a little cute place, perfect place to have a date or to study. We have tried these: 1) taro milk tea– it’s good. Best taro milk tea I have ever have. Not too sweet and taro taste is strong. 2) green tea crème brûlée– tasted like crème brûlée but green tea version. But it’s too sweet. I didn’t really like it that much. 3) waffle — my favorite part of the visit. Ice cream is good and waffles are crunchy. And fruits are not sour(thank god). So good! I will come back to try other food, especially ramen burger and fries!

Service is a hit or miss here. This afternoon’s server was a complete miss. Probably hung over still… at 3pm. Waited 20 minutes before my stomach started talking and had to get up to ask for our waiter. We ordered quick-to-make meals: Bread Bowl and House Fries — so we didn’t have to wait much longer. Halfway through our meal, our server accidentally spilled something on the floor while bussing a table. Instead of mopping it up, he kicked at it with his feet and walked away. Huge liability there. Should have taken a sick day. Btw, the interior smelled like someone crop dusted.

It was our first time here and it was a wonderful dining experience. The food was good, little pricey but it’s worth it. AND for the dog owners out there, you may bring your dogs as there is an outdoor dining patio(waiters were kind enough to provide water for our dog upon request; super dog friendly) We ordered: Fried calamari $ 4.50 — pretty good, perfect amount for appetizer Poke salad $ 8 — large chunks of tuna w/very good seasoning/sauce, salad had a citrusy vinaigrette it tasted kinda funky in my opinion, but the fish was super good Pork belly buns $ 6.50 — 2 buns, had copious amounts of delicious, wellllll seasoned pork(impressed even my judgy asian parents) Original Ramen burger(includes fries which you may upgrade for $ 0.50-$ 1) $ 10.50 — SHARETHISWITHANOTHERPERSONBECAUSEITSREALLYFILLING, has a beef patty, cheese, a variety of sauces, lettuce, egg, and ramen«buns», the ramen was aight but the insides were yum

3.5 Stars Asian Fusion Café I like the BLEUHOUSE but I don’t love it(yet). This is a good place if you want to sit and catch up with a friend. It is a great place to talk, and they have a large menu(including coffee, teas, tapas and food). Service is always excellent here, and they have macarons for those that crave sweets. I only had drinks here during my first visit and was delighted by their Mojito menu. It was nice and refreshing, and most importantly, they are willing to adjust the sweetness and the amount of ice based on your preference. Recently came to have dinner with friends and we ordered the following: Original Ramen Burger, Pork Cordon Bleu Pasta, Black Squid Pasta and Fried Calamari. Their entrees run for approximately $ 10 – 15 each. Here are my two cents on the food items we ordered: — ORIGINALRAMENBURGER: I only tried this burger once from another restaurant, so I don’t know how the«original» really taste like, but this burger the combination of the burger patty, fresh lettuce and fried egg was welcoming. It was not greasy, but it turned out to be a mess because the ramen was a little soggy. This entrée comes with fries, and you are given the option to upgrade to something else. I choose to upgrade to Cajun Fries for an additional $ 0.50, and oh boy, those cajun fries were spicy! — PORKCORDONBLEUPASTA: Fried Pork Cutlet with Cheese oozing from the center. This dish is very rich. Comes with 2 slices of garlic bread. It came with a big serving of pasta, but unfortunately, the pasta was a fail for me. Sorry peeps, but my pasta got to be Al Dente! — BLACKSQUIDINKPASTA: I guess everyone have different preference with the Black Squid Ink Pasta. Personally, this dish was a little horrifying for me. I personally don’t like it when I am trying to slurp a bowl of pasta drenched in black squid ink sauce. When I order my Black Squid Ink Pasta, I prefer if they prepared the pasta with black squid ink, and just drenching it with the sauce. For those of you that are adventurous and like getting their teeth, tongue and possibly clothes stained with black squid ink, go for it. — FRIEDCALAMARI: Nice tapa dish. The calamari were lightly battered and was delicious! OVERALL: Like I said, I do like this restaurant, but I am not in love with it yet, but I am definitely coming back to give it a few more tries.

It’s a place that offers a little bit of something for everyone. Not sure if this approach is favorable for keeping a restaurant afloat. Yes we like variety yet we appreciate specialty as well. Riiight? So yes. It’s like a hipster — like vibe with all walks of life I’ve seen. It’s a coffee house. A dessert spot with a tapas like menu. It’s like whatever you want it to be. Staff are usually friendly but not always attentive. I’ve come in several times now before writing this review and have sampled numerous items on the menu. I’ve had their chowmein, which was eh, ok. Pork belly rice plate YUMmy tastey and soft to the bite. Cajun fries was good. Crunchy calamari was worth ordering again. Spam-i wish it was more crispier– musubi was ok. Love their macarons — taro is my fav. Love their smoothies especially mango. And enjoy their taro macchiato and crème brûlée. Parking is plenty. Down the hill from my hood. I ll definitely be back to explore more.

This small little café is located in Hacienda Heights .not too far from Rowland heights if you’re looking for more to eat afterwards. Not sure how this place is during the evenings but it seems pretty empty the last two times I’ve been here. Chilli Cheese Fries: I love how theres a bit of spice to the fries and the egg on top. The fries came out really good and well seasoned. Thr beef on it is similar to having Mongolian beef or shaken beef. Not your average tasting chilli cheese fries but pretty good either way. Bleu me away: this dish alone sounded interesting on paper as it comes with pork belly, uni, tuna, salmon, veggies over rice with the bowl covered with squid ink and an added fried egg. It was very delicious and savory. Reminded me of having a bibimbop because of how it looked and how there were different condiments on top of the rice. Beautiful presentation and very well put together. Pizza tater tots: my photo doesnt show the side of marinara sauce but i had asked it to be put on the side since my babies can be a pit particular with their foods. Im guessing the tots would have been covered with the sauce but eitherway i love how the tots came out super crispy. Great for sides or even kids if they love fries. My daughter hates spicy food so thr chilli cheese fries wont do since its a tad bit of spice over it. These tots came out perfect and great for kids

I had higher expectations for this place based off of my friends reviews and photos but I definitely want to come back solely for drinks and dessert to see if I change my impression about this place. Bleu House is a very cute spot with seating both indoors and outdoors. We chose to sit outside and I’m so glad we did because not only was it warmer outside but I loved the overall feel and look. As for food, we had a hard time deciding but we ordered the cheesy garlic fries with beef, the pork buns and the uni pasta. +Cheesy garlic fries w/beef: definitely hands down the highlight of the meal. Such a simple dish yet it was packed with lots of flavor… the cheesy goodness with the crispy fries and tender pieces of beef all meshed very well together. I would highly recommend this dish. *adding chicken or beef is an extra charge but well worth it in my opinion. +Pork Buns: I didn’t like this one at all. First off, I hate cucumbers so I took them out, no big deal but the pork itself was extremely fatty. The first bite I took was literally all fat and I had to spit it back out. Needless to say, I didn’t finish it. My friends boyfriend however, seemed to really enjoy this one so I guess its just based upon your food preference. +Uni pasta: This dish was just so-so. It wasn’t amazing but it wasnt terrible either. I’ve had uni pasta at other restaurants and I’ve always enjoyed it then so I was excited to order it and have my friend try but sadly it wasn’t up to par. Not only did the pasta look extremely dry, it tasted very dry and bland as well. There was also a weird taste to it which I did not like – i can’t explain but I just did not like it. Wouldn’t recommend this one either. After finishing our meal, I was craving something sweet so I ordered the potted milk tea drink. They offer in 2 sizes but I read somewhere they’re both pretty similar in size just different in price. I ordered the regular and it was still HUGE. I asked for it «here» so it would come out in a cute glass. The presentation was definitely a 5⁄5 and so was the taste. I would get this again. Service was 4⁄5 which is awesome considering we were seated outside. All the dishes were really affordable and good for sharing. I want to come back to try their drinks and desserts next time. Perhaps then, I’ll update my review and hopefully give Bleu House a higher rating… till then. :)

You gotta check this place cute and intimate place. It has a French and Taiwanese mixed feel. I stopped by here with at least 12 ppl and they had a table big enough for us to bond together. There is sitting available inside and outside. Parking and location is easy to find. The staff here are very friendly and did check on you from time to time. Gotta come here for desserts and bobas. My fav is the potted drink with pudding for drinks. The tea they serve is fresh and the pudding was very soft. For desserts, I recommend the Mochi waffles with 3 scoops of different flavor ice cream and variety of fruits on the side! The Mochi waffle has a perfect chewiness and compliments well with fruits and ice cream. One of the best waffles I have ever had. Aside from good boba drinks and dessert, they also serve authenticity Taiwanese food. I plan to come back so I can try the food entrees.

This time we tried pork belly baos, Nutella macaron ice cream sandwich, green tea crème brûlée, and sea salt Thai tea latte! Pork belly baos: delicious, bun is really soft(a little too soft but still yummy) not overly sauced, a generous portion of pork belly that was tender and soft! Served with green onions and cucumber! A very filling tapa and definitely worth a try :) Nutella macaron ice cream sandwich: macaron was nice and soft, not disgustingly sweet, very good! Green tea crème brûlée: texture is more like a mix between pudding and crème brûlée, not firm enough but still delicious! A very generous serving as well and nice presented. Sea salt Thai tea latte: really good! Most places don’t do Thai tea right but they do it good enough! The sweet and salty mixes well. Good attentive service, the food is yummy and worth trying, they have a great selection and I salute you guys 5 stars !

This such a cute place! Both food and décor are cute. So many drinks and food items I wanted to try. However my tummy can only handle so much at one time. I will definitely be coming back to try more. Service was awesome as well. Kitchen staff was amazing. Food and drinks made to order, but somehow still managed to come out lightening fast! Servers work all tables so never have to wait for ‘your’ server to come by. Plenty of parking available so no need to circle around fishing for a parking spot.
