I’m a frequent customer at this Noodles &CO as my office is just down the way and it’s always been a pleasantly convenient location to grab a quick bite to eat. This week I experienced the most awful situation with the employees of this location. I went in to pick up my order and made my way back to my office. I realized after finishing out the work day that my wallet was missing. After looking high and low, I found that it was left at Noodles & Co. I went back there today to pick it up only to find that I was missing over $ 150 in cash! The manager, Tyler(African American male, with a slight beard, of medium brown skin complexion) was of NO help to the situation at all. when I’d arrived, he pleasantly handed the wallet over informing me that one of his employees had found it and returned it to him, however when I’d mentioned the missing money he «Was able to offer nothing except an apology». Well, as if that isn’t enough he didn’t say a word about speaking with the person who’d found and returned the wallet it to get to the bottom of things. I have NEVER had a problem with the employees of this location until today. What shouldn’t be tolerated from any establishment is allowing your employees to STEAL from customers without repercussion. I have already contacted Noodles &CO. corporate and am praying that they take further action in assisting with getting to the bottom of this issue. Do yourselves a favor and make certain that you never encounter a situation such as this and expect Tyler, the manager to take care of it for you. I am so disgusted and they will NOT be getting my service ever again! Bunch of thieves!

Same as any other Noodles. Tables were clean that I could see. Staff was very nice and attentive, even coming back over to check on us. Hard to give 5 stars to a chain unless they are outstanding, but it was very nice

Food was really bland, not enough sauce, specially after repeatedly request when ordering. I have been many different noodles and company, but the first visit at this location was disappointing.

You know what you’re getting because the menu is the same at all the Noodles. Typically, I would give 4 stars to Noodles. The reason I gave this one only 3 is because of the same reason others have pointed out: the tables are never bussed, the restaurant is always 10 degrees colder than comfortable, the workers act as if they’d rather be anywhere else. If I ever go back, it will be for takeout on a slow weeknight.

I’ve never had a noodles mess up an order, but this particular location couldn’t get it right after 2 attempts. I knew something wasn’t right when I ordered the cheesesteak and the girl said, «the sandwich?». That’s the only cheesesteak on the menu. The penne rosa came without the chicken the first attempt, and then came without any of the veggies the second attempt. For the 3rd attempt that we didn’t even care for, the manager apparently made it correctly for us to-go, and gave us a free meal coupon. He told us that we got someone else’s dish. Twice in a row??? Are you all high??? If not reheat well. I would never come back here.

The food is still delicious, fast, healthy, and a good value, but I’m subtracting a star because lately whenever I come in, the tables aren’t bussed. Today the server who delivered my soup dropped it off at the table with her thumb in the bowl. Who does that?

Used to be a great place I could go with my son for a quick meal. BEWARE if you have a gluten allergy though. Twice now(not in a row) I have gotten super sick because they didn’t take seriously the allergy vs preference. I always make sure to state that and usually am fine at all Noodles locations. This last time I could feel it as soon as started driving and have been sick for two days now. Current staff needs training on the fact that not everyone has the luxury of gluten being a preference and they do mean it when they say allergy.

My daughter wanted Mac and Cheese and although I vowed I wouldn’t come back here I fell victim to the daughter’s wishes. The front staffed didn’t acknowledge us and instead took a phone order without even gesturing she would be with us soon. After she finished the phone order she turned around. What?!? My wife and I just looked and each other in disbelief. We moved down to the«Noodle Pick Up» line and placed our order there. While we waited for our food I took my daughter to the bathroom to wash up.(The shape of the bathroom hasn’t changed since my last review…) Upon walking back to the table I couldn’t help stopping to take a picture of the booth outside of the aide patio door. Holy cow! I can only imagine the kitchen area after seeing this scene. See picture.

Good food for good prices! Not supposed to be gourmet dining, however service can get better. As expected pretty much.

Place is always dirty and the staff seems like they don’t want to help you. Came in, no one was at the counter, then ordered finally and there was no place to sit because every table had dirty dishes on it. Plus, when they did take the dirty dishes, they didn’t wipe the table. Also, the drink machine was disgusting with caked on food.

I enjoy eating here. I eat here once or twice a week. The food is always good, but the dining room is often filthy! Tonight was no different. There are employees rolling silverware when a clean dining room should be a higher priority. I often have to request to have a table wiped down. Then the employee went right back rolling silverware, with a number of dirty tables that needed to be cleaned.

This is place is just sad and horrible. The lady who took our order was just standing there like a zombie. She didn’t take all of the order, she only gave me half of what I ordered. The Mac & Cheese tastes like something I would get at a Buffet or something. It’s so creamy and disgusting. Yet, the lady that bought us our food was like so irritated. So annoying. Never coming here again. I’m from the city so I guess I’m used to seeing friendly faces and receive good service.

The flavors are pretty weak for all their Asian-style dishes. Service is fine, they don’t really greet you with a super happy smile all the time but I mean, hey, they get your food to you fast :) even if you sit outside! Their pad Thai tastes nothing like the real one. Actually it’s pretty tasteless. Had to dump sriracha sauce on it to eat it. At least then it would taste like something. Their Japanese noodle dish is fine. I feel like they just stir fried the udon noodle in soy sauce and topped it off with sprouts? I like their other dishes though, like the Mac n cheese, stroganoff, pesto, whole wheat penne. Their small dish is actually pretty small. It didn’t quite fill me up for lunch. For $ 5 I should’ve just gone to Mariano’s or subway. If you’re looking for a meal I would just get the full size for $ 8 – 9.

I love Noodles & Company. It is one of my favorite restaurants. This location is the closest to my house, but after my last several visits, I will be driving an extra 10 miles just to go to a different location. The last three times I’ve been there, they have messed up my order, including not giving me shrimp that I paid for, making a dish so spicy I wasn’t able to eat it(and I like spicy food!) and putting the wrong kind of cheese on a dish. They were extremely unapologetic for any of these mistakes, and I actually had to request that they remake them correctly, as they did not even offer to do that. The Coke Freestyle machine has been out of at least a third of the options the last several times I’ve been there as well. With all the problems I have had here, I have always been patient and understanding, while the employees do not seem to care at all, and I have never been spoken to by a manager about the problems I’ve had. The last time, I was trying to get the cashier’s attention because she didn’t give me the drink I paid for, and she didn’t notice me because she had her back turned to the register and was on her phone. This location has completely unacceptable service, which is especially disappointing because I know Noodles & Company places very high value on customer service as a company. I will gladly continue to patronize Noodles & Company, but never again this location.

We had a weird experience here, but I’m willing to give it another shot. It was *freezing* in the restaurant. Literally, it was colder in the restaurant than it was outside. Everyone was wearing jackets or coats as they ate, which we somehow didn’t notice until we sat down. We also must have come in right after a rush because all of the unoccupied tables in the dining area were dirty. We’re not shy — we cleaned one off ourself. The Coke Freestyle machine was out of several options. This is my biggest pet peeve with these machines — they’re fun and people love them, but I get the impression they’re cumbersome to maintain. When our food was delivered, my order was wrong. I ordered the Asian Chopped Chicken Salad, but there was no chicken. I pointed it out to the food runner who brought our meal to us, who said he would take care of it, but he never came back to the table. I sent a note to the manager via the company’s website, and he was kind enough to mail us some coupons for free meals. We’ll try it again and I’ll re-review.

We love Noodles — especially my kids who are past freaks. As we were in the Gurnee area for lunch on a rainy Saturday afternoon, we found this Noodles location and came for lunch at what was peak rush around noon. To our amazement, the line moved remarkably fast and in what seemed like 5 minutes our food was ready. I got a spicy Cesar chicken wrap with a tomato bisque soup, my wife got the Thai noodles and my kids went for plain cavatappi and mac & cheese, respectively. OK, so they forgot my soup, but it was corrected in a minute, hassle-free. The manager was clearly in charge and stopped at our table during the meal to see if everything was OK. Yes, they do have wine here, with the bottles in a display case inside. However, I’m not going to Noodles to booze it up or go high style with a glass of wine, so some of the issues in other reviews that I saw about wine service were irrelevant to me. While I like the Noodles in uptown Park Ridge near home, this one has more efficient service overall when it comes to food.

Did not have a very good experience today. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay and I was told the Chardonnay wasn’t chilled so I can have either a Pinot Grigio or one of the reds. I settled for the Pino Grigio. When I asked for another glass, I was told I had to stand in line again which did not make very happy because I had already waited in line once for 10 minutes and I didn’t feel like waiting for another 10 minutes in the middle of my meal. I told the gal that if I didn’t get the wine without having to wait in line, I wouldn’t come back again and I will make sure to write a review about the incident. The girl asked me if I wanted to talk to the manager and I said I would like to do that. I don’t know exactly what the girl told her manager but when the manager came out, he said, «if you talk to my staff like that, I will have to ask you to leave.» I told him exactly what I told the girl, that if I had to wait in line again, I won’t be coming back there again and I’m going to make sure to let all my friends know about it. The manager wasn’t very friendly. He said, my name is Scott, do whatever you want. That’s a shame because they have decent food but poor customer service training. I don’t think I’ll be going there again.

N oodles & Co. should be relisted as one of America’s Healthiest Fast Food O ptions. Sure, they don’t offer super niche ingredients and one of the only O rganic items they have on the menu is the tofu. D ang do I like the Coke Freestyle machine though… L emon, grape, peach, cherry vanilla, raspberry flavors in my sparkling drinks. E xpect some of the tables and/or the floor to be slightly dirty or sticky sometimes. S ervice at this location is excellent and the cashier on Friday morning is super nice. A dding protein like pork, chicken, meatballs, steak, and shrimp will increase cost. N ot to worry, vegetarians/vegans — there are options and substitutions for you too. D ‘oh. The regular bbq pork mac n cheese is over 1250(continued)… C alories, which they list for all of their menu items for better informed decisions. O n the way to/from Gurnee Mills, parking in the lot here is free and plentiful. M enu options also include salads, breads, sandwiches, soups, and desserts. P –p-p-arty it up on the patio and have a beer while you’re here beside the pond. A llergens are clearly listed on the menu, so that you don’t accidentally consume N uts or shellfish or wheat or gluten. Y es I would return to this one if I were in the area. Location: 3 out of 5 Convenient enough off the highway that if I were in the area again, I’d go. This location does have a little patio area by a pond, which was nice. Customer Service: 5 out of 5 Like I mentioned, the lady working Friday mornings is awesome. Cleanliness: 4 out of 5 Not too bad when I went — they had just opened up so none of the floors or tables were sticky yet(but it can and does happen) Quality of food: 3.5 out of 5 Consistent at each location I’ve been to. The asian flavors they use are a little on the sweet and robust side, but if I wanted 100% authentic, I wouldn’t come here, now would I? Value: 3 out of 5 This place can get pricey if you’re not careful. A regular sized dish plus protein can run you close to 10 bucks. If you’re careful with spending you can probably leave only spending 10 $ for food and a fountain drink. Selection: 4 out of 5 Nice selection of noodles, soups, salads, and sandwiches. They have a few staples/classics like mac n cheese and spaghetti and meatballs interspersed with what some people might consider to be exotic(peanut sauté, curry, etc.) Kudos for listing as much nutritional content as they can in plain sight. Overall: 4 out of 5.

As an annoying calorie counter these days, I’ve come to really appreciate Noodles & Company for its fast and healthier options, and therefore am raising my rating from 3 to 4 stars. I could have a Med salad everyday and not get tired of it, and adequately satisfy my carb cravings at the same time, all for just a couple hundred calories. I love it! It’s lettuce/romaine, a small amount of cavatappi pasta, feta, kalamata olives, tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers and a slightly zippy yogurt/feta dressing I could put on ANYTHING. :) Even the smalls are a pretty good size and I don’t feel like I’m missing out. I’ve also cut back on my meat intake, so it’s nice to have vegetarian options that taste good, and that I can somewhat sell my hubby on. Having said that… My husband started getting the meatball sub and I found those meatballs to be surprisingly delicious. I still like all the soups, and the peanut sauté pasta is one of my favorite pastas there, and there are several more favorites as well. Their website and menu make it fairly simple now to customize your own meal based on your specific needs. And most importantly, I like the food. :) Make no mistake, however, the sodium WILL kill you. ;) So choose carefully or avoid if you’re in a low sodium diet.

I ate here with a few friends before we went to see a play. It was my first time eating at this franchise. Truffle mac & cheese(around $ 9 after tax for the regular size) — 2 stars. The portion was enough for two people. It came topped with shredded cheese, bread crumbs, etc. The cheese was an eggshell color, so not the radioactive orange of instant mac haha. But the flavor fell flat, a bland cheesiness. I was bored with it after a few bites. When you order for dining-in, you’re given a number, seat yourself, and the food arrives at your table. Our food came out after 10 mins or so, which was fine since the place was full. Friendly service, clean facilities. Solid 3 stars.
