Rosati’s Pizza

Have loved this pizza since I was s kid. Great place. The staff is friendly and the pizza can’t be beat. I particularly like their sausage and green pepper. Yum.

Rosatis has decent food and at a reasonable price. I can’t say the same about their customer service though as it is beyond horrible. I ordered from Rosatis last week from a rude employee and when I called management about it I was told «sorry, still looking for good help.»
I was also told that I was going to receive a 10% discount but I never received a receipt with the individual prices, only a lump sum. Hmm…
Anyways, when my order was delivered the rude employee was at my door and yet again being a rude *****. I thought it was funny that she was sent but I think it’s even funnier that Kaisers down the street will now receive all my business.

Best pizza in Gurnee! Prompt service and nice staff! You have to try the 4 meat pizza (pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, and bacon) it’s amazing!

After posting first review I was torn. The issues I have are not deal breakers. But do try and keep the hot peppers out of the Italian beef and sides of juice. My wife and I love the Chef’s beef special. Melts mozz, toasted bread and super lean and flavorful beef. Only thing that makes it better is dunking it in a side of the beef juice.
We have gotten Pizzas and Buffalo wings. These too were very good quality and satisfying for our hunger.
I can live with online «bugs» as we are all learning and at the mercy of IT developers that are not in touch with product. Every time we do an iPad search, the Gurnee location we frequent, is not listed or listed as not available to order online. But we have.
All the delivery drivers have been friendly and kind. Some are even suggestive to upcoming specials.
Thanks for a consistent and solid product and service.
Food and service are a solid 4 stars. You will get our repeat business.

I just moved to gurnee recently & live about 2 blocks away from this restaurant. I have ordered here twice and will never order again. First time I ordered a large pizza and chicken fingers for delivery cost close to 30 and they told me 40 min. Took them an hour! Second time I ordered delivery on a Monday, ordered a small pizza and a ½ slab of ribs with fries, cost me 45.00! And it took them 2 hours to deliver to me. I called the store to ask what was taking so long and the person couldn’t even find my order at first and offered no apology! Then I got my food and it was COLD! So unimpressed. Too expensive and delivery sucks. Way better options for pizza around here. So upset

Food was average… price was a bit high… grease from chicken tasted old and burnt… the delivery driver was nice but dont think ill order from here again… sorry

Food is below average. Service is horrible. They need to change their oil. My chicken tenders tasted more like fish than chicken. For the price you’re paying I expected better food. I will never go back again.

terrible service, very greasy pizza, brought it to the attention of the owners son, who was a complete jagoff… lol how does a business like this run? so surprised that this joint is still in business…

Seriously, this pizza is so good. My favorite thin crust pep, ever. It’s perfect. Even beat out the Libertyville Rosatis and Pizza deville for us… Which is hard to do!!! Cute restaurant atmosphere too, and a friendly staff. Will be back often! Can’t wait to try out the rest of the menu!!!

I’m not from the Chicago /​Gurnee area, but every time the family goes to Six Flags, AFTER we leave, rather than paying $ 192 832 for a dinner at Six Flags, we come here.
Both me and my wife LOVE Italian Beef and being in the Milwaukee area there are some choices, but not a ton. That’s what we get when we come here.
Great bread, dipped, awesome beef, and with giardiniera and mozerella cheese, it’s awesome.
Their pizza is good also, that’s what my kids get. Thin crust cheese has at least 3 kinds of cheese, very good.
Worth a stop in, friendly folks, reasonable prices, and quick service (it’s fast causal, order, pay, they bring it to you).

Was looking for a place with Gryos, and what a great find! Love the atmosphere, staff friendly, and quick service! I had the Greek salad (that was topped generously with Gryos meat), and my boyfriend had the gyros meal with fries and side of giardiniera. The Tzatziki sauce was awesome with a hint of garlic! Greek salad was so fresh! We will definitely be back to try the Italian Beef and Pizza and if course the char-​dog!

We stopped by because we’re staying at the best western there was another similar place by dunkin donuts but Risati’s looked more appetizing, we got the pizza special (2 pizzas). I’m a pizza crust lover and their crust was amazing, the sauce was good as well, I wanted mushrooms but with the kids we amend up getting hamburger toping, I wasn’t to amazed by it but over all experience was good, and very friendly staff! I will come back more often!

This Rosati’s seems to have merged with a Chicago Red Hots a few years ago. The old Rosati’s in Gurnee was on the corner of Route 21 and Grand Ave. This newer one on Grand Avenue has nearly the same menu, but with the addition of things like brats, Polish sausage sandwiches, and other things that don’t always appear on the menu but are still available. They will make most of their sandwiches on garlic bread, which makes them even more of a treat. Their hamburgers are so good you might think they came from Red Robin. Very juicy, always hot and tasty. The funnel cake is delish and comes in an enormous quantity.
Their eggplant parmesan and veal parmesan are huge servings and come with a salad and plenty of spaghetti. I am not a fan of restaurant spaghetti normally, but theirs is very good, topped with a very flavorful sauce.
Ironically, we have not tried their pizza, so cannot speak to that. We are too busy ordering all the other greats from their menu.
Everyone we’ve come in contact with has been very pleasant and our orders are almost always accurate. Of course, they make good on any mistakes.

I have only had carry out for pizza and salad.
Pizza is pretty good and salad is pretty good. I feel as if Gurnee does not have a good pizza joint, but this Rosati’s is better than average (again, for Gurnee). I don’t live close to this place so I don’t get it unless I am in the area.

Stopped there one evening with the family for dinner as we had been in the area shopping and at Six Flags.
First the people taking our order were confused as to what we wanted… pizza and chicken fingers?! Finally though we got that straightened out… so we sat down at the one clean table that was available to us being a party of 5.
The tables hadn’t been bused in a bit and the floor had not seen the working side of a broom since probably the beginning of the day. We sat and they had given us a number 63…
The server brought out a pizza and wandered the dining area calling out the number and twice we said it was ours and then finally he came over and looked at the number…“Oh I’m sorry I was confused.” HUH?! The chicken fingers came shortly after with no issue.
The food was fine… nothing special…
Before we left we went to the washroom, my wife came out and asked for me to find her a gas station bathroom it would be cleaner. There was no usable paper left and the garbage had not been emptied in some time My youngest tried to use the washroom as well and he came out and said no one had flushed the toilet and when he tried it was backed up. We notified the counter as we left and before you ask… no we will not be returning.

After a year of living the Waukegan/​Gurnee area, we finally settled on Rosati’s of Gurnee as our favorite pizza. And not for lack of trying other places — I think we ate at nearly every pizza place in the area before making this decision, including the Rosati’s of Grayslake, who appears to have little or no connection to this place other than the name.
We order the same thing every time — a large thin crust sausage pizza — so I can’t speak to anything else on the menu. We are consistently pleased with the quality of the pizza and the service, and we regularly fight a custody battle over the leftovers the next day. I’m convinced the magic is in the sprinkle of oregano on the finished pizza; my husband thinks it’s the cheese they use.
And, my favorite part, is that if I’m out running errands, I can order the pizza and come in and have a beer while I wait for it it to finish in the oven. Everybody wins!

The selection of food is huge! My favorite are the Chicago Red Hots. However, you can get pizza, sandwiches, chicken, pasta, salads, italian beef and more. There are daily specials that offer a good value. Food is brought to your table after it is prepared.
An owner was particularly helpful the other day when I stopped in. I told her that the rootbeer syrup was out at the soda fountain and she gave me a can of rootbeer of my choice. You can take out as well.

Terrible service. I will not be returning.

We have dined at this establishment, and also have had orders delivered, The owner (a delightful lady) has been present most of the times we have dined in. The restaurant is nicely decorated, comfortable and very clean. Its front counter employees and wait staff are friendly and very accommodating. Anything we have ordered has been very good, however, the thin crust pizza is exceptional, the best in Gurnee, and it could easily compete with Chicago pizzeria fare.
Whenever we visit, our orders are properly filled, prepared, and promptly delivered to our table. The very same applies to our telephone orders. If you opt for delivery, your order total will be quoted to you after you place it, and if you are told to expect your order in 45 minutes, you may expect it within 45 minutes. In-​store or delivery; both rate five stars.
Ensure that you patronize this particular Rosati’s in the Gurnee area, because the same does not apply to other Rosati’s.

My first and only experience of Chicago style pizza and it did not disappoint! So tasty and so filling. Not to mention the hot funnel cake with ice cream on top, wow!
