Great grocery store; sundries, sandwiches, salads, wine, beer, liquor, ice, fresh fruits, small deli and meat(special sausage, bacon, cheese, steak, chicken-BBQ ready). They have all the stuff you need but not in the variety or prices as a large chain. As the previous reviewer states, this is the last real grocery store before the Northern entrance to Yosemite NP on Hwy 120. Ask for Steve on special orders. Locals work and shop here so, ask questions.

This is the last real grocery store on your way to Yosemite’s west entrance. It’s hard to see from the road as it’s below and behind trees. But keep an eye out for it after you pass through the cute downtown area. I highly recommend their deli sandwiches. Nothing super fancy. Just a basic DIY affair but great value for money at $ 4.99. Yes, just $ 4.99. That’s like half the price of what I’m used to in SF. You get to pick your own bread, meats, toppings, condiments, etc. I got the smoked turkey with avocado(extra), bacon(extra), provolone, mustard, mayo, pickle and tomato on dutch crunch. All for $ 5.49(+ tax) including the extra charges. My sandwich sounded so good the guy behind me got the same thing. Luckily it was tasty too(not always a guarantee when you have to create it yourself with so many options — so many ways to go wrong). I had half the sandwich for dinner and the other half the next day during my hike in Yosemite. Still good.
