It was exactly as expected, a great one nighter for a hot shower and bed at a great price. You get what you pay for. Comfy enough bed, ok shower, little to no cell service, no internet. Good solid country breakfast in the morning then off to Yosemite. We wish the bar off the restaurant would’ve stayed open past 9 as we walked in and would have spent another 50 bucks. Bar needs a makeover. Everyone we met was pleasant and it was overall a good stay.

Warm, friendly staff from the moment you step in the door to the moment you leave. Stopped in for breakfast leaving Yosemite on our way to San Francisco, we both had the breakfast burrito, it was delicious. Came with sour cream, homemade gauc and a pepper like sauce on the side, Yummo!

I needed a reasonably priced place to stay on short notice, near Yosemite. Buck Meadows Lodge fit the bill. Had a nice meal and a beer before final prep for Half Dome the next day. The food in the bar/lounge area was pretty mediocre, but the service was really friendly and attentive. The room was pretty basic, and pretty noisy — drippy facet, noisy refrigerator, noise from the lounge/bar, and the A/C unit literally sounded like a helicopter was landing in the parking lot. On the other hand, with the fan on, it was just noisy enough to drown out any ambient sound without being so loud as to prevent sleep. Overall, I might stay here again. I like the proximity to Yosemite. On the other hand, I might opt for the Westgate Lodge or any of the other places to stay in Groveland. Three stars for the friendly staff, otherwise would be two.

Meh. Honestly wasn’t expecting much though. We just needed a place to stay that was somewhat convenient to Yosemite. Price was decent. We got a room behind the restaurant so it was definitely private but would definitely recommend the cabins if you’re considering this place. Not much else to say — really, it’s just«fine».

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 4 nights… we had a great little cabin which was 2 rooms and a bathroom. The cabin included AC, direct TV, a full kitchen, The lodging was about 12 miles from Yosemite which was perfect. They also had a gas station and a great little store that had everything we could think of… including the makings for s’mores(a must have when camping). The pricing was less the hotel next door and much more comfortable! They also have a restaurant that is a quick 5 minute walk. Totally worth staying here!!! We loved it and it made our visit to Yosemite just about perfect!
