Great service, great food, and a lot to choose from. The employees were very friendly also.

This is a really homey place to eat in Groveland. The service is friendly, and the food is consistently good. Be advised, it is diner/highway stop kind of food, so not exactly high quality, but still good. The french dip sandwich was scrumptious, and their homemade soup is a must try. Don’t bother with the iceberg lettuce salad. The turkey dinner was only so-so – it was like eating warm turkey sandwich slices slathered with gravy. Everyone(locals it seems) always checks out the tourists, but you can definitely meet people from all ends of the world here. I’m not sure how I feel about the place though, as it pretty much the only restaurant up this way on the highway. Compared to other places, it might not fare so well. Oh, and it doesn’t have Coca-Cola(boo Pepsi!). There is a store attached with a variety of items one might need for Yosemite, so that is kind of cool.
