We had a company dinner with 15 people. The service was great and the food was wonderful. They have an appetizer«Seafood Trio» that is absolutely addictive. I will have that as my meal the next time that I am there. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We were seated right away for our dinner reservation. It didn’t look that busy, but our server kept apologizing for how long it took for the drinks, bread etc., and there were dirty bar glasses piled up at the end of the bar. Maybe they were just short staffed. Now for the food: The bread is topped with either chili powder or paprika, not sure which and the olive oil had it too. I know they thought they were on the brink of culinary genius, but it was a total miss. My husband had the seven field chicken salad. He said that it had good flavor, but the chicken was dry. I had the prime rib, broccoli and the lobster mac and cheese. The prime rib was cooked rare just like I like it; however, it was a really bad cut of meat. It was sooo chewy, I kept hoping that the next bite would get better, but it didn’t. Everyone at the table agreed that the lobster mac and cheese was the blandest thing that they had ever tasted and it wasn’t even cheesy. We also think the lobster may have been imitation. Do yourself a favor and stay away from it. The broccoli was another story. It was cooked perfectly and that lemon chive butter that they put on it was something special. My little one had the kids steak and I think she had a better cut of meat than I did. My nephew had the kids chicken parmesan. It was so big it looked like it was meant to be on the adult menu. He really enjoyed that. We’ve been to Stone Creek multiple times when visiting family in Indy, and my husband says he always feels like we pay way to much for what it is. Our server was nice. Overall there were things that were good, but there were things that were bad, which just netted out to an OK experience.

Mouth watering and beyond delicious! Went here on a whim and after some Unilocal searches, and will definitely be back for more. Tried the steak medallions with mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes. Cooked perfectly to order and was divine. Also had the lobster risotto — equally as delicious. It was the first risotto experience and glad to have had it at the right place. The waiter was equally as delightful and gave the great recommendations.

We are in the area visiting and decided to give Stone Creek a try. We look for family friendly restaurants due to having 3 young children. We went during their early bird special. The staff was very friendly and very quick with their services. We were seated in the back section. The menu had options for everyone. We got the honey glazed steak for the appetizer. It came with sweet peas. It was cooked perfectly and was a hit among the table. I had the horseradish Dijon crusted sirloin, I had it cook to medium rare, it was cooked to perfection. My husband had the chicken parmesan, it was a generous amount of breaded chicken and and Angel hair pasta, he loved it. The kids had chicken fingers and pop corn shrimp and they loves their as well. All and all it was a wonderful experience.

Just had a fantastic lunch here! My boyfriend and I ordered the bourbon burger with Parmesan risotto and the short rib grilled cheese with lobster mac and cheese. Everything was excellent, reasonably priced and the portion sizes were ample. The service was good, and not intrusive. An altogether enjoyable experience and we’ll definitely go back.

my girlfriend and I went to this location earlier this week. Was warmly welcomed by the new enthusiastic hostess and sat promptly. We were welcome they quickly by Vanessa our waitress Who did a very good job and made sure my girl and I were always taken care of. All the food came out in a timely manner and was some of the best food I’ve ever had. Slowly becoming my favorite restaurant

I have Never eaten here and decided to give it a try this evening. The worst experience in my life. I can tell you I still haven’t dined here, because I left. My wife and I went to the bar to have a drink while we waited for our table to be ready. three bartenders behind the bar, and not a one ever came over to get our drink order. My wife and I were there for 10 minutes. We watched the bartenders ask other patrons if they needed anything, clean glasses, and joke around while I even leaned on the bar, and couldn’t get served. I have never felt like I wasn’t wanted before in my life. Don’t waste your time, I have emailed the restaurant to let them know. So at least I am not just throwing a bomb. There are plenty other places in Greenwood, that would love your business.

My husband’s company has their Christmas parties here. I can’t think of anything much better then free Stone Creek. Campfire Alfredo is my absolute favorite. The service is amazing. Everyone is always so welcoming and kind.

Great food, but, heed this point: it was a bit on the pricey side. I don’t remember it being that pricey since the first time I was there about 6 months ago. The waitress did mention from the start that the menu had changed. She assured us that our favorites would still be on the menu, but I honestly can’t remember what I had the first/last time I was there. ;o) I would describe the décor as very tasteful, upscale, artsy and somewhat earthy. I really liked it. The atmosphere is very cozy and intimate even though the noise level seemed elevated where we were seated. Our booth, was near the front doors and the kitchen. The tables are not placed too close together. Personal space and some privacy rings big for me, so I appreciated that element right away. The lighting was perfect. It was not too bright and not too dark. There were really nice single muted stained glass looking lights on the wall next to the booths. They were not bright and annoying. I detest direct lighting above the table that makes me feel like I am under a hot spotlight. It’s very obnoxious and obtrusive. My date did not care for the lumpy/hard and uncomfortable semi-padded seat on his side of the booth. He said it felt like a spring was just about ready to break free. The table top was all wood. It was a little sticky due to it looking a little worse for wear, but it was nothing a good sanding and some refinishing couldn’t fix. For starters, the 3 dip appetizer was awesome. It was a trio of a spinach artichoke dip, guacamole dip, and a quinoa/hummus dip. They served it with a combo of tortilla chips and fresh warm naan/pita bread. We were also served a fresh and warm round of pull apart bread before the meal. That was also excellent. My date ordered the fish and chips with red pepper cole slaw. He enjoyed his meal. I ordered the chicken sandwich with a Sriracha aioli sauce on a brioche roll with a side of apple/jicama slaw. It was also very good. Everything was fresh and cooked to order. Nothing tasted obviously and lazily pre fab. The kitchen is an open theme/set up; which is cool. You can see the professionally dressed chefs working and cooking the food. I would have loved to have tried their chocolate mousse, but I was absolutely stuffed. Next time, I will either just eat the appetizer OR the meal, and then jump to the dessert! Even for it being a more expensive place to eat, I can honestly say it was worth it. The balance of the whole dining experience has made this place a favorite of mine. The service was friendly and adequate as well. I will be back again.

It was Easter so it was packed of course. I made reservations about 2 weeks in advance for a party of 6. The upstairs looked beautiful and lively. Unfortunately, we were sat in the dungeon downstairs. It was dark and very spaced out making it seem like we were at the kids table on Thanksgiving. We were an after thought. The buffet was ice cold and inedible. When spending $ 25.00 a head, I expect at least hot food. The waitress offered to give me a menu to pick something from. She took 20 minutes to come back and by that time I was so annoyed I was no longer hungry. She came to our table 6 times total. Once at first greeting, second to bring drinks, third to see how we were doing and didn’t even listen to the answer before walking off where I had to stop her to tell her about the buffet. Fourth was to bring me a menu and get more drink orders she had other people deliver, 5th to assure me I don’t want something from the menu and how they were doing the buffet over again. 6th to hand us the bill. The rest of the attention came from the other wait staff over the 2 hours we were there. There was one waitress who hustled! She was all over the place. Ours was hardly ever found. My father had to get up to the bar to get coffee because we got tired of waiting for service. The food was mediocre at best. I doubt I will ever return to this establishment.

The service was excellent, the food was awesome. I do feel that some with the portions were a little small, but all in all a wonderful experience.

I’ve been going to Stone Creek in Greenwood a couple of times a year since they’re been here. The cost ranges from moderate to spendy with most meals around $ 20. so if you get appetizers, dessert, and drinks you’re definitely over $ 30/person. If desired you can get out of here for $ 20−30/person. Quality of food at Stone Creek is consistently good. I’ve had steaks, chicken, seafood, and sandwiches. My most recent meal was broiled seafood, which was all tasted fresh and well cooked. I especially liked the sweet and tender scallops. It was served with a large couscous and generous portion of steamed veggies. My wife enjoyed her chicken parmesan. We enjoy the calamari which is served fried and spun with an aioli. It’s a unique way to serve calamari. For dessert we had chocolate mouse which was two scoops of bittersweet chocolate mouse with a fair amount of sweet raspberry sauce and a small bit of whipped cream. I like the sweet raspberry with the bittersweet chocolate, but I think my wife prefers it without raspberry. Stone Creek has a good variety of beer and wine. In the past I’ve often had Bell’s beers and on the latest trip they were offering Sun King and Taxman beers. Service is consistently good at Stone Creek. Servers are professional and trained to a system. They use a team approach effectively. Great place for special occasions and out of town guests.

Hubs and I had appetizers and drinks a couple years ago, then found ourselves back for a Saturday dinner recently. I don’t know why we waited so long! We split a bottle of wine — the waitress’ suggestion was spot on. The food was amazing. I’m pretty sure someone caught me licking my plate. And — maybe the best part of the whole experience — the staff had personality. Our waitress joked with us and made us feel welcome… but not like she was about to pull up a chair. You know that fine balance, don’t you. In one sentence, Stone Creek is upscale without being stuffy or appearing to take itself too seriously. I was super surprised to find out it was part of a local restaurant group, not a national chain. Score one for the home team!

I wasn’t sure what to expect at Stone Creek. My past dining destinations have included places like Chicago, Seattle, and Portland– well known meccas for the adventurous and discerning foodie. The primary purpose of my trip in Indianapolis was family so I was prepared to compromise. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised at Stone Creek! We took the food to-go and I ordered the marinated tofu, which was accompanied by baby broccoli, baby zucchini, carrots, and mushroom wellington with butternut squash. The tofu was flavorful and was the perfect balance of well done without being dried out. The baby broccoli had a tad too much butter on it as the freshness and tenderness of the broccoli can stand alone. I really enjoyed the mushroom wellington. It was hearty and meaty from the mushrooms with a touch of sweetness from the squash. I love vegetables so it was pretty much all I could hope for in a vegetarian main dish. I appreciated that Stone Creek not only offers carry-out, but offers a wide variety of dishes and accommodates vegetarians!

This restaurant does a great job with large groups, which I have been a part of the last two visits. I love the Marinated Grilled Tofu with baby Carrots, broccolini, butternut squash, wild mushroom wellington, baby zucchini with beurre blanc. It is actually a feast of tastes. I have had pasta, which I also like. The service has been impeccable, they have great early bird specials and, on Monday, ½ price wine bottles. It is owned locally and is part of a several-chain business, all of which do a great job. They get it!

This would have been a four star review if their chefs were consistent. The first time I went I had the sea scallops. They were seared perfectly and had a rich caramel color developed on them. The risotto was creamy and the pork belly tender and flavorful while the baby zucchini still had a crunch. I was so in love with the dish that I ordered it a second time. That was a mistake. It had to have been a different cheft that night. There was wayyyyyy to much goat cheese in the risotto to the point that it had a grainy texture and caused you to pull strings of cheese. The poor pork belly was so over cooked it was hard to cut with a knife and barely had flavor and the sea scallops while okay didn’t have that great color developed. This place can be great. Depending on what night you go.

Stone Creek was a lot better than I expected. Five of us were placed in a large booth, which was fine albeit a tad awkward for conversation. We enjoyed shared appetizers of calamari, ahi tuna and spinach dip. Calamari was really delish. Same with the tuna. Spinach dip wasn’t bad, but nothing to gush over. Campfire pasta is YUMMY with a lot of flavor and a fair amount of heat. Nothing too spicy, so don’t be afraid of it. Other entrees were enjoyed by everyone. Prime Rib was flavorful, but the baked potato served with it looked a lil sad. Their dessert menu is a bit of a bore. Nothing really exciting or super decadent. Brownie in the sundae wasn’t rich and fudgy. My chocolate mousse was good, but is served with a bit too much raspberry. I think we’ll be back. The prices are also very reasonable.

Correct me if I’m wrong but to me a $$ rating equals Applebees or Olive Garden price range. If all of the entrees are over $ 20 then it should have a $$$ rating. Wasn’t buying but was asked to choose the restaurant and felt like an ass when the menu was in front of me and prices were reveled. No prices on web site! Really not cool. On top of all that the pork chops were dry & tuff. And the interior sterile and boring. Plus some sort of sewer gas leak right as you were walking in… I won’t return.

In a sea of chain restaurants in Greenwood Indiana, we were happy to find this mini chain restaurant. Extra ordinary service and good food. I was glad we wound up here for blackened mahi and shrimp pasta instead of going to bonefish. On a Wednesday night, it was obvious the management and staff here go out of their way to make sure their customers are happy.
