Ella’s is a family favorite. The staff is so friendly and engaging with customers. The options are great and they always have a lactose-free option. They engage the community with fundraisers and the store is owned by a couple in the community. Great place!

Kudos to the gracious owners for staying open well after posted hours on a lovely summer evening.

I give this place four stars. The owners are great people — very nice! I like their topping choices, but they have fewer flavor options each day than competition. Regardless, everything tastes great! I want to see them stay open for a long time. They have great incentives with the stamp cards and on Tuesdays those cards are double-stamped. They open at 11am, which I like better than CherryBerry(competition down the street along 135) opening at noon. There is a Stop 11/Emerson location, too. I recommend trying this place out.

This is the BEST place by far to get frozen yogurt! I highly recommend this place! The owners are very nice and it’s just a fun place to go and have a snack! It’s great when it’s nice outside to sit out on their patio to eat your yogurt!

This place is excellent! Not quite as conveniently located as the one in fountain square or the one on Mass Ave, but definitely worth the drive. It has the most options for toppings, whether you want fruit or something sweet, and lots of options for your froyo base! The price is about what you’d expect, and the workers are sooooooo nice!!! They often offer free lemonade or coffee!

Not good. A ton of toppings but the yogurt is terrible. Yogurt Shop is way better.

In the long, fraught journey to find the best froyo place in Indy I have found this oasis. A discovery that sends thrills of joy throughout my essence. There are not a crazy amount of flavor choices. Each one is executed very well, though. What really sets this place apart: SERVICE is beyond outstanding. I really felt that this was the owner’s home(cute, colorful home, to be sure) From the moment we walked in the door, the owners were truly making this an experience to savor. From sampling to weigh and pay to the complimentary chai tea once we sat down and tucked into our treats. Fresh, homemade COBBLERS are available as a topping… or…base to your yogurt. Blackberry, peach and apple. Add in the variables of hundreds of topping possibilities and flavor combinations and, well, consider your world rocked and mind blown. And the aforementioned, complimentary hot chocolate and chai tea. Little touches like the ones I just mentioned take this place over the edge.

After driving by more times than I can count, I brought my daughter in one afternoon for a ‘mommy/daughter’ date and boy, did we have fun! There are only 6 machines to choose from, but it’s not just fro-yo. They also have some sorbet and ice cream choices. You can taste each or just jump in and create. Cones and cups are available for you to use yourself. Then the machines are on the wall with every selection possible and then some. It’s like a candy store and an ice cream shop merged. The décor is very up-beat and friendly. they charge by the ounce, so don’t come hungry or you’ll end up with an $ 11 ice cream selection! It’s a little pricey, but I love going to a local business to eat ice cream/fro-yo. HINT: They just bought the space next door for events, so why not have a baby shower or birthday party here! What fun! I want to have one here :)

Ellas has the best yogurt around! Love the small, mom and pop shop atmosphere. They have a ton of toppings and a wide variety of yogurts that change fairly often. When looking for ‘ice-cream’ We usually head over to Ella’s!

Ella’s is one of the great local businesses in Greenwood, Indiana. The family atmosphere and attention to customers really makes Ella’s go above and beyond. The yogurt flavors are always great, the topping selection is probably one of the largest in Indianapolis. They have plenty of outdoor seating to make sure you can enjoy your FroYo and sit outside with a friend. Double punch Tuesdays and the punch card make Ella’s definitely worth going back for more. They are currently expanding into the next door space to have a party room and will have more indoor seating during the winter. Support local business and check out Ella’s!

one of the best new self-serve fro-yo shops in the indianapolis area. cute color scheme and set-up here. you will be greeted by super-friendly staff as soon as you walk in, and will feel at home and comfortable, surrounded by shades of bright greens and pinks. an ella’s staff member will immediately ask you if you would like any samples of their eight yogurt flavors of the day. if you go to their website before you visit, they will post which flavors they have on that particular day. in comparison to their downtown competition, i think they, overall, have better and more creative flavors — as well as a better variety of the rotating flavors. be careful with the self-serve amount — if you fill your cup all the way to the brim with yogurt, you will likely be close to a $ 6 or $ 7 cup of yogurt. if you stick to filling up halfway with yogurt, and then pile on toppings, you will probably be closer to a more reasonably $ 4 serving. they have a wide variety of toppings for your yogurt — fresh fruits, to hot fuge and hot caramel, to any kind of candy you can imagine, to fresh chunks of red velvet cake(!), to oddball toppings like golden grahams cereal. there is definitely something for everyone. their cake batter flavor is amazing. tried the almond joy flavor as well — was delicious, but slightly too rich for me. most recently, i created my own combination which was absolutely heavenly — i would like to call it «caramel apple pie a’la mode». apple pie yogurt swirled with dulce de leche yogurt. top with their amazing, cinnamon-y apple pie filling, and homemade pie crust crumbles. add a few pecans and some of ella’s hot caramel sauce. it was the most delicious combo of flavors i have had at a yogurt store thus far. they charge 49/cents an ounce here, reasonable and on par with some of the other stores. make sure you grab a «punch card» — each yogurt that you buy gets you a punch, and after a certain number of punches, your next yogurt — up to a $ 5.00 value — is FREE. awesome. if you take your family a few times, you will easily earn a free yogurt. you will notice that tuesdays are slightly more crowded than other days — this is because tuesdays are«double punch days». each yogurt that you purchase earns you TWO punches on your loyalty card. also, if you join their birthday club online, you will be sent a 50% off coupon for your birthday. overall, ella’s has the friendliest and most helpful staff of all the yogurt shops i have been to, with some of the best flavors and topping options around. their level of customer appreciation, such as the punch cards and the constant free samples, are very much appreciated and help ella’s stand out from the pack of indy fro-yo shops. definitely a must-try if you are on the south side.

Honestly I’ve been waiting YEARS for a froyo place here in Indiana. It was one of the few things I missed about LA. So when I saw this place I freaked in excitement because… omg this froyo… this froyo… omg this froyo is sooooo goooooood! Ella’s has it all! They have 8 different flavors and post them on their website. They also post any future flavors. I’m personally impressed with their topping choices. I like that it’s a serve yourself place so you can have as much or as little as you’d like. They charge by weight so it can add up if you go crazy but it’s totally worth it. Everyone is super nice and helpful. As soon as you walk in they offer you a sample of any flavor. They also have lids and a bag if you want it to go. I like the outside set up to just sit and hang out. This place is absolutely perfect and has successfully taken care of my froyo cravings.

Really great frozen yogurt.(The fat-free Hershey’s Chocolate Kiss is so good you would never know it’s fat free.) The flavors change so there’s always something new to try. The toppings bars have everything you could imagine, from traditional candy toppings to breakfast cereal and fruit. It can be a little on the pricey side but if you don’t fill your cup completely up it’s not terrible. My family of 3 can usually get a fairly generous amount of yogurt and a few toppings each for around $ 10 total. Plus they have a rewards program and stamp the cards 2x for each yogurt purchased on Tuesdays. They let you sample before you buy and the staff is incredibly friendly.

I am so happy to have a frozen yogurt shop in Greenwood!!! The flavors are creative and the combinations are only limited by your imagination(well, and wallet). The staff is so nice, friendly, helpful and all around great. Nice, pleasant atmosphere! My only con would be the price. I like the idea of self-serve but I like to know how much something is before I commit to buying it, and at $.49/ounce, it adds up fast.

Took my kids here after hearing about Ella’s from a neighbor. It’s a little more expensive than another self-serve yogurt shop in the area but the atmosphere & staff are great. I had the red velvet cake flavor & my daughter had vanilla w/gummi worms & blue berries. Fun add-ons!

Very friendly staff! Fun for the whole family or just cutesy enough for a date. At $.49/Oz who wouldn’t love to pick from the featured frozen yogurts for the day and dress up that cup with the many options of toppings! For an added touch, sit outside under one of the colorful umbrellas.
