My son took me here last night. It was one of the Christmas presents he gave me. We absolutely loved the service we received and the professionalism. The Ceasars salad was amazing and the steaks were the best we’d every had. This was our 1st time here and we were very impressed.

Excellent service and a terrific meal! Hubby and I both enjoyed the petite ribeye(12 oz) with sweet potato casserole and creamed spinach as sides. This was our 5th visit, and the food was just as delicious as our first visit! Our steaks were cooked to specification(medium and medium rare). The service was very attentive, considering that the restaurant was busy due to Valentine’s Day. Thank you Ruth’s Chris for another fantastic meal and dining experience!!!

We celebrated my husbands bday here last night and were waited on by Kerry. We could not have asked for better service or food. The manager was very pleasant and checked in on us after our meal. Between us we had the steakhouse salad to start, I had the 12oz ribeye, my husband had the cowboy cut, lobster Mac n cheese, and creamed spinach. Yum. No other words needed.

I got the surf and turf, sweet potato casserole, and broccoli. Honestly it was just ok. I’ve had better surf and turf at Longhorn steak house… like way better. The sweet potato casserole was dry and very sweet. I enjoy fine dining but for what was paid I don’t think it was worth it.

Great food. Do not order the lobster bisque. It was liquid cornstarch with 2 microscopic pieces of lobster. Otherwise, all the other food was great and great service.

Excellent food and service. Very clean and great atmosphere. Unless you have a deep pocket, this is probably the restaurant you would go for special occasions only. Their porterhouse for two is my favorite(for me, it’s actually porterhouse for one). You can purchase the same quality USDA prime beef online, but you can’t duplicate their unique flavor unless you have an industrial grade broiler that heats up to 1800 degree Fahrenheit. You can rest assure that anything you order from their menu will taste great. For the price you pay, they better be. Although I have had better steaks in NYC, Dallas, and Chicago, Ruth’s Chris Greensboro, is one of the best(if not the best) steak houses in North Carolina.

Nobody does steak better in this town. Period. Highly recommend the crab cakes and the veal ravioli as well. Service is always impeccably perfect. You get what you pay for and this dining experience is worth every penny.

This is truly a 5 star restaurant. The service was phenomenal. They were kind and Very pleasant atmosphere and ambiance. They had the lights set low which gave a great romantic feel for dinner. The food is phenomenal. The sweet potato casserole was AMAZING. The sides are big enough to share with 1 other person. The steak was juicy and cooked to perfection, it almost melts in your mouth. The salmon was great as well. We had all around great service both times that we went. I have no complaints.

I guess this is a review relative to other Ruth’s Chris Steak Houses, but this one sure did disappoint. Unlike the Memphis or Midlothian, VA locations, the atmosphere was lacking, the steak overly fatty, the lobster tail too salty, and the waitress not exactly engaging. Most customers seemed to be in jeans, so maybe the lack of formality for what is a premium priced place seems to have rubbed off on the staff and the meal. We tend to stick to our favorites, and interestingly no escargot(unlike the other RCs — I guess snails aren’t that popular in Greensboro). Overall, we won’t be back to this one — a great shame, but there are plenty of alternatives that do a better job delivering on their promise of a great meal experience.

I’ve eaten at Ruth’s Chris around the country, including the original in New Orleans, since destroyed by Hurricane Katrina and donated to Tulane as a health center. The steak was good but the order came out on a hot buttered plate with seasoning-which we had specifically asked to be skipped. The waiter even confirmed it a number of times. Service was okay and the manager came over to apologize. The steak was not worth the price paid compared to other steaks in town of equal fanfare. We probably just had an off night but reading other reviews, I’m not so sure. They are assured good business by being located near a lot of banking offices and as an alternative to either Green Valley Grill or Printworks. For our money, well go to GVG or Fleming’s.

I have never, ever been disappointed at Ruths Chris. Pricey, yes, but never has the cliché «You get what you pay for» been more appropriate. The steaks are cooked consistently to the perfect temperature and with just the right amount of seasoning. The salads and sides are excellent, and the service is without rival. The ambiance fits the culinary delight and makes for a perfect meal. Be prepared for an investment in fine dining and ENJOY.

I was here 3 years ago for my birthday. I am in LOVE! The food was by far the best in Greensboro. The staff was nice, the service excellent and I had the time of my life. It’s expensive but hey it was my birthday! It was an enjoyable atmosphere not loud, but upbeat and pleasant. I’m not a big wine person so I am happy the waiter was able to help me choose a nice wine based on my meal and what I personally like to taste. Will I go back? YES. Fond memories.

Admittedly, Ruth’s Chris is expensive. I haven’t dined here in several years, however, tonight I had the opportunity to try RC again and thoroughly enjoyed my dinner. The ambiance is very cool. A funky, modern, Art Deco theme. Service was excellent. And the food was very good. The salad was decent though not exceptional. We had the crab cakes, filet mignon, and chicken breast stuffed with garlic herbed cheese. The lump crab cake was fantastic! Lump crab with virtually no filler baked to golden brown perfection. One of the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. The stuffed chicken breast was also excellent with a very nice flavor. The herbed cheese was a nice compliment to the chicken breast. The filet was very good, but I really enjoyed the crab cake and chicken more. Our sides included creamed spinach and garlic potatoes, both very good. Actually, if I could sneak in the kitchen and steal a pot of the creamed spinach I think I’d be in Heaven! Maybe I’d snag another crab cake as I dashed out the back door. Huh, excuse the culinary fantasy. Needless to say, I enjoyed my dinner. One word of caution: those 500 degree plates are a real hazard! My poor wife burned her finger on her plate and unfortunately, burned her mouth on the first bite of her filet and pretty much missed out on the rest of her diner. She did manage to make a remarkable recovery in time for cheesecake. Be careful. You don’t want to pay this kind of money and miss enjoying the terrific food because you’re sucking on an ice cube.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House had very good service, the procedures used to recommend dish sharing of sides, and the steak preparation was explained well. The«chop salad» was big enough that the four of us each split one. The salad was very good but was a little lean on the dressing. There were no affordable bottles of wine on the wine list with the least expensive starting at $ 40. Four glasses on wine were actually more expensive($ 10 ~$ 20 each). All sides accompanying a steak were al carte. If you were seeking a steak as one might well surmise by selecting a Steak House, one would want a good one. The women ordered the petite filets while we men ordered a ribeye steak. While the steaks were cooked to exactly the way we requested, our dismay over the ribeye’s was that they were exceedingly fatty and had untrimmed sinew around the edges that was inedible. I asked, and was told the steaks are USDA Prime grade and«wet aged» which is to say they had no premium flavor as wet aging produces none. We requested horseradish, which really helped give the steak some flavor. The steak was $ 43 dollars as I recall. The bill for the four of us was $ 291. The décor was nice. The bread and butter was very good. For my money, better steak needs to be served at these prices to make me want to come back. By the way, the have no prices published on their web site menu.

After mulching and weeding the yard, we thought we’d treat ourselves to a nice dinner. The ambiance was great! The hostess presented me with a white rose and our waiter, Aubrey, was a delight to talk to. Our meal was amazing. We started with the jumbo shrimp cocktail and crab cakes. The shrimp were fresh and delicious! For dinner, I had the special petit filet w/jumbo lump crabmeat in a Cajun butter. I like my steak well done(which is a sin) but it was cooked to perfection! My Sweetie had a medium filet, sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes. I paired my meal with a yummy coconut ginger lemon drop martini. What girl doesn’t like a good martini? Since I’m a coconut lover, for dessert I ordered a pineapple coconut bread pudding to go which made for a delightful Saturday afternoon snack.

I attended a dinner last night at Ruth’s Chris featuring wines from Silver Oak Cellars paired with a menu created specifically for this event, and I had a very nice time. Ruth’s Chris holds these special dinners occasionally(I get notifications via email, but I’m sure their website advertises them), and I’d encourage people to attend. It’s fun… you have to listen to the spiel from the particular wine/alcohol vendor, but it’s not like being trapped in a time-share sales pitch, and you learn a bit while enjoying a 5 course meal. I took pictures of the courses we were treated to, but they are a little blurry because I was trying not to be super obvious or annoying to my surrounding dining companions.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary. We had been to a few Ruth’s Chris locations before, but it was our first time at this one. I thought it was a little weird that it was part of an office building, but you couldn’t really tell once you were inside the restaurant. We both ended up ordering the meal special they had going on, which included soup or salad, an entrée, a side, and dessert. Unless you order off the special menu, everything is a la carte. The sides are big enough for sharing, so we usually get one or two and just split them, and always take home leftovers. The strawberry goat cheese salad was amazing! As soon as we finished our salads, our entrees came out on a sizzling plate. I thought it was neat the first time I went to a Ruth’s Chris, but I kind of wish they didn’t come out on such a hot plate. I ordered my steak medium and by the time I got to the last few bites it had cooked through a little more and was no longer pink at all. It still tasted ok though. The service was excellent, and everything came out pretty fast. Every time that we’ve gone to a Ruth’s Chris we’ve had a gift card, but I don’t know that I’d ever come back and pay full price. Yes, the steak is probably one of the best I’ve had, but I can’t justify the price tag.

Amazing steak! Great quality and perfectly cooked. Live lobsters available. Wonderful sides. Superb wine list. Professional, white linen service. Expensive, but worth every penny. Perfect for Corporate customer appreciation dinners. I had the best cup of French press coffee of my life here. Simply delicious.
