FYI– this is not a Brazilian restaurant. However, it apparently use to be for a hot month or two. And even the waitress advises that this isn’t a Brazilian restaurant. No kidding, the menu is so vanilla. I gotta bring these stars down a notch, or like four, because it’s really deceiving. It’s more like a bar and if you like that then I think it’s a good place, but for food, it was pretty mediocre and generic. My food was luke warm, keep in mind I ordered a well done steak and fries, but shouldn’t it be hot when I take a bite? Just an FYI that they might need to get it together and figure if they aren’t a Brazilian restaurant, then what the hell are they?

Your upstairs white girl bartender that worked Friday night is terrible. Not only were we the first to order drinks from her,(which makes you think she’d remember) she yells across the bar to see if we wanted the same drink, she brings the wrong drinks then has the audacity to roll her eyes and say, «I said lager and you said yes.» Excuse me but when you act like you know what drink I previously ordered and you ask if I want the same, I assume you fucking know. Of course she then goes tell her coworker right in front of us and makes us wait an extra 5 minutes while she makes her rounds around the bar. Not only was she incredibly rude, she never apologized and blamed me for the way she treated us. I’ve been a server and I always cut everyone a break but her behavior was unacceptable. The downstairs bar was the complete opposite. I didn’t catch her name but the blonde at the bar was a total sweetheart and very attentive. Made our visit!

Delicious! Such a great vibe and staff. Must haves include the mussel crostini, chicken croquettes, the collard salad and the fried chicken. All of them were so good and shareable so it made for a fun night. Their cocktails are equally as good. Such a fun spot. Can’t wait to return.

Everything was amazing. I went on a date with my boyfriend and had: the Brussels sprouts, yucca fries, and steak. The food was so good that we are still talking about it the next day. Great selection of drinks as well, everything from beer to wine to cocktails. Go here for an awesome date night before it gets too popular!

the fried chicken was delicious and gluten free! My favorite dish is the mussel crostini. They are so addictive. The staff was very friendly and professional. We ordered churros for dessert, it was so good we ended up ordering it 3 times. Would definitely come back.

Similar to many of the new places opening in Greenpoint. Disappointing. We were given two different menus. Took a long time to get drink order. Then they were out of many of the beers on the menu. Strange… The food was ok but nothing spectacular to cause us to return. Bring back red star or get really good at what you are doing.

The dinner was solid and the churros were a game-changer! They just melt in your mouth… service was friendly. It is worth coming to this place from Manhattan.

Really great customer service!!! The waiters were very attentive and the food was so tasty. Authentic Brazilian cuisine. Would definitely return but make sure you’re ready to cough up a couple dollars. 1 person a medium plate, plus two drinks could run you about $ 50 + but it’s worth it!

Went out for dinner on Sunday. There were only a few tables, I guess because it was a thanksgiving weekend. Also, the place is pretty new, and seemed to have a very slight«new furniture smell». The food was delicious, very well portioned. The service was excellent, very attentive and friendly.

I ordered the collard green salad, the chicken croquettes, Yucca fries and the Picanha Steak. Yum! I drank a few of the spicy margaritas which I would order again and again. I loved the open layout with the high ceilings. Overall a cozy environment for dinner and drinks. I can’t wait to go back and try something else on the menu.

What a disappointment. Went for a drink and a couple of apps. The yucca was served with BBQ sauce! Huh? The margarita was just so so. nothing fancy about this place, the staff was strange and seemed lost. Not sure if this place will stay around. The atmosphere was not exactly Brazilian. I left and went to Naked Dog down the street.

A $ 30 coconut for two? Really, Greenpoint, really! My friends and I stopped by Cozinha Latina Saturday while we were waiting for a table at Paulie Gee’s. We couldn’t resist(who doesn’t love a boozy drink in a coconut) and ordered the coconut for two(a coconut, sugar cane spirits, nutmeg, two straws). I couldn’t have been more disappointed. There was supposedly 7 ounces of alcohol in the drink, but I could barely taste 2. Fortunately, the food was a saving grace. The light and fluffly pão de queijo and ceviche arrived quickly and were both very tasty. The open space was cool, and the bartender was friendly. He introduced us to Shipwreck coconut cream rum(yum!) and even gave us a taste. I’d go back for the food and skip the coconut.

Great new restaurant! We shared the mussel crostini, cheese puffs, steak, roasted squash(my favorite) and yuca fries, and enjoyed a Caipirinha. Everything was delicious and the services was great. We will definitely be back!

Great addition to the neighborhood. Really nice space and the food is excellent — we had the 6-minute egg, brussel sprouts, pork ribs, black beans and churros. All were excellent — am still dreaming about the churros in particular. We were shocked at how inexpensive it was when we got the bill — how often does that happen? Will definitely be back.

The space is really beautiful. Great ambiance and the décor feels like home. The service was excellent, attentive but not overbearing. The mussels crostini was really great, as well as the brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were really tasty and unique from how most restaurants prepare them. They had some citrus, which really made them stand out. My wife and I also shared the steak. I haven’t had a steak cooked that perfectly since the last time I was at Peter Luger. Besides the steak being cooked perfectly with a great outside char, it also melted in your mouth. The dessert was really good too. It was a cake slice layered with a light cream and pastry — can’t remember the name. It was light and refreshing, not too sweet. All in all… I would highly recommend checking it out. We will be back!

New place that recently opened. I think they are only open for dinner for now. The décor is nice and modern and the place has a very nice dinner vibe. About a dozen tables or so. There is also a long bar that has about half a dozen seats as well. The bathroom, at least the men’s room looked and felt brand new which is great. Food is amazing. The menu appetizers(small plates, small bites), entrees(medium plates), and large entrees(table shares) and sides. The mussels are good as was the pork riblets. I only tried the yuca fries for the sides but the others at I saw come out of the kitchen looked and smelled delicious. I will be back to try other things on the menu. Parking is metered and alternate side. The subway, G line is two blocks away.
