Great but it’s now CLOSEDFORGOOD.(Or bad, in this case.). I loved this place and was a lunch regular. I’ll miss you guys! I hope that Fred, Gerald, Ashley, Kiki and the rest all find great jobs after this.

Had the steak sandwich here and it is a 14 $ sandwich that comes with BARELY any steak that was extremely tough and would come out of the sandwich after 3 bites… Although my waiter was very nice about letting me order something else it was very disappointing… It also came with a small amount of fries… Do not order this!!!

One star is an exaggeration, considering this restaurant deserves zero. I went to Wipeout tonight and was not only extremely disappointed, but completely appalled. I took my friend, my little sister, and her friend to dinner and was hoping for a fun meal and an opportunity to see my two friends who work their. We ordered our food and it came out horribly. Me being completely starving and not that picky, ate it without complaining until the end. However, my younger sister returned it after taking one bite. I work in the restaurant industry and understand that when someone eats their meal, its only fair that they pay for it. We received the check and I noticed that they had charged us for two Chicken teriyaki bowls, however, as I mentioned before, my sister returned hers after one bite. I then walked over to our waitress, and polite as ever, asked if I could please speak to the manager regarding our bill. She then said nothing in return and proceeded to get the manager for me. He came out with fire in his eyes, and in the middle of my sentence, yelled at me to sit down. Him being around 6 feet tall and me being a 5’2″ girl with big blue eyes, I wasn’t sure why he was already so aggressive. So I sat down and this psycho man began to interrogate me. He somehow got it in his head that my sister and I were lying so we wouldn’t have to pay, yet I was sitting there assuring him I would pay for mine but that my sister ate none of hers. He proceeded to yell at me and even threaten me with my friends job(unbelievable!). Once he had gotten the WHOLE entire restaurants attention he then walked me over to my table where he proceeded to scream«ALLOFYOU! OUT! YOULYINGKIDSGETOUTOFMYRESTAURANTRIGHTNOW! LIARS!!!» «I’VESERVED50OFTHESEBOWLSANDEVERYONELOVEDTHEM! NOT A SINGLECOMPLAINT!». While i’m sure everyone loved the show, all of the employes were either mortified or laughing at him. However, my party and I were significantly embarrassed and substantially scared. My 13 year old little sister ended up crying after we left because she nearly thought he was going to hit her(I never saw that because I left as soon as I could but thats what she claims). Over the course of 17 years I have never once encountered such atrocious customer service. I NEVER plan on going back to Wipeout, and I HIGHLY suggest you make sure that salacious man is fired.

Everything was disappointing. Two people for two average meals and a shared dessert was $ 40. Both meals had the least fresh ingredients iv tasted at a family place. I have been going there for a while and just have found that everything’s bland and you can tell the budget for the food is low. A step up from a fast food joint but the chain restaurant qualities shine through.

I had FANTASTIC crab cake sliders here and the price was incredibly reasonable… The bar-keep was as nice as can be… I really liked this spot and I had stopped in by chance!

All I have to say is eh… Eh for everything– Drinks and food. But what else can You expect from a Chain Restaurant?

Friendly staff, great tacos, decent beer selection. Looks a little tacky from outside but the food surprised us! Best carnitas tacos I’ve had in a long time, and the beers on draft were a nice cross-section of west-coast micros. Worth stopping in!

So a few years back I came here and had a horrendous experience that was part server and part manager. I vowed to never go back. I recently had been hearing good things about the place and decided to give it another try. The female manager I met was really nice and genuine when checking in on us. It’s one of few places I can get my son to eat a cheeseburger. I love how it is so kid friendly and I never feel rushed. Large beers on tap, big screens for the games. Beware this is a high noise level family restaurant. Don’t go here if you are looking for quiet or romantic.

Great for a quick lunch. The service was great with friendly staff. It’s on a busy shopping center but easy to find parking. I had the fish tacos and they were very yummy. It’s great for groups too and I love that they have an outside sitting area.

Try as I might to want to like this place it just never makes it. No surf and turf for me. It actually solves many issues in the region in that it is a bar, with plenty of TVs, a potentially friendly place and not super expensive menu either. Yet, if fails at many of these things it should easily do well. Coming into watch a game the other night we sat near the bar. The TVs were a bit older and not the clear picture that it should have. Also, we came in here to watch a particular game that they advertised and it was a hassle for the over burden bartender to change the channel and the sound at the same time. I ordered a decent beer and they have a good selection and it was cold and fine and there is no way in a place like this I would order a martini or a wine. The menu was ok and we sampled a few of the apps, which were decent but the menu did lack a few of the needed starters must sports bars have. The burger looked good and plentiful, which is a good thing. There was no way to venture beyond that as I am sure I would have drowned in the bad sauce or preparation as you know what it would be like by just looking around. Also, and this has happened before when I came in here, the place is just not clean nor friendly and I was hoping this time the recent tsunami would have solved that issue. Anyway, they could do so much better and for the life of me I have no idea why they just don’t send this place a lifeboat and send in another purveyor.

I like this place for lunch. The grilled chicken plate and fish are good served with steamed vegetables and your choice of brown or coconut rice. The burgers and sandwiches are OK. They have a bar separate from the dining area. Lately I’ve been ordering lunch to go and that’s a nice option.

All I can say is I came here once and I have not come back, well to eat at least. I had ordered a burger and no joke the meat was completely raw! I even poked it with my finger and it was cold. I was so grossed out. Just didn’t feel right. But, this is a fun place to have some drinks and catch up with friends. You can sit outside on a nice afternoon. Just be smart about your order and double check, your meat before you put it in your mouth. It might still be cold. I also had to give it one more star bc this place brings back good memories from when my family and I used to come here when I was little. I swear every marin kid used to come to Chevys get the tortilla dough balls and throw them around!!! Hahaha those were the days…

I consider myself a busy person and I told myself that I would only write reviews when something is absolutely great or absolutely horrible. Well, Wipe Out Bar & Grill in Greenbrae was absolutely GREAT! OMG-the skirt steak salad was heaven. I was moaning & groaning from the first bit to the last. My husband ordered the wet burrito-he loved it. We will be back. Portions are hefty, price was reasonable, service was great(attentive), and food was the HELLA good.

Came here 3 times as I want to support local businesses, but I was relieved when my 11 and 15 year old nephews(who will eat ANYTHING) decided they would prefer to eat a sandwich at home than to eat here again. Both the food and service are so bad that I cannot imagine how this place stays in business.

This restaurant is awful. I cannot believe they replaced Chevy’s with this structural and culinary abomination. The place is disgusting. All the food they serve there can be found in the Frozen section at any Safeway.

Wow! This place had Really Good food! I got the Blackened Mahi Mahi Bowl with the sautéed veggies, coconut rice and an avocado tomatillo sauce. It was Totally Awesome! My wife got the Fresh Grilled Fish with tomato salsa, jicama, red peppers and jalapeño cream. She LOVEDIT! I had been here when the first opened, along long time ago. I thought it was a chain. I understand there’s just one other at Pier 39. The place is Fun, especially for kids, surf boards EVERYWHERE and Jimmy Buffett playing in the background. It’s not exactly the vibe of Marin that I remembered, but it was a GREAT lunch. Family of three got out of there for about $ 40 with tip. It was worth it. The food tasted FRESH and felt Healthy and every left full. By the way the have a GI-MONSTROUSTV in there about as big as the Wall. Thumbs Up!

Must be new management(again), not happy they took out $ 5 pizzas on Wednesday. It was a bargain for the whole family, Little League, other leagues, etc. I was wondering why it was so lame on a Wednesday night when usually the place is packed. Can the CEO of the company do an Undercover Boss episode, and ask why the vibe has changed? Are they taking care of their peeps? Hello, happy customers make your business thrive! Please put back the banana split & mud pie to your dessert menu or at least change it up. Btw, I noticed the prices went up on everything. Hmmm, no more $ 5 pizzas, less choices on the menu at a higher cost… something smells fishy — I’m not talking about the tacos!

Was out running errands and found myself hungry. In between stops, I happened past this place. It looked kind of fun with the theme décor and cool looking surf board tables, so I stopped in to see what was up. Cocktail menu had some clever local names. Sat in the bar area and service was fairly quick. Wasn’t feeling up for a meal so I had the quesadilla appetizer. It was fairly good sized and had a little bit of a bite. Other than that, it wasn’t much more than average especially for the price. Theme is fun, my food experience was kinda meh. Discovered that there’s another one of these in Fisherman’s Wharf as well.

Yes, you can! You can eat healthy food here if you choose consciously. A 6 pm meeting here led me to look over the menu carefully, for I have been dieting and don’t want to regress. I found a salmon salad and a diet Coke for $ 18. The salad was mixed greens with an interesting oil, vinegar and what tasted like herbs provencale, and the salmon fillet on top was cooked perfectly for me. Fall apart on the fork, yet firm between the teeth. Due to the price of a salad and Coke in Greenbrae, I will now stop complaining about prices in Oakland.
