This has become our go to place for family occasions and for pizza delivery! We haven’t had a bad experience here yet. The«Dad’s Pizza» is a great quick fix for supper and the calzones are fabulous. Dining in, the service has always been top notch, and being the coffee snob I am, was pleasantly surprised to find the quality coffee served here.

We drive past this place all the time on our way from Milwaukee to Montello. Our experience was similar to others. We really liked the pizza. Not deserving of a ‘5’ but really good. We always order extra crispy and it was still a bit soggy in the middle. That’ s what the water in too many veggie’s will do I guess. Ha. We might go easy on the cheese next time to see if it helps with the crispness. Very nice selection of toppings. Getting hooked on kalamata olives and Italian sausage combo. Could use a few more selections of wine but better selection than most rural places. Host was great. Booth seats are higher than tables and they gladly moved us. Training on wait staff needs to improve but regardless, you need to try this place. Thought prices were reasonable even for up here. 4 glasses of wine and we took some of our large pizza home for $ 47 before tip.

The food was great. The service… well…if you don’t mind helping train the staff, you’ll be fine. We went because they have gluten-free pizza crust… which they were out of the day we were there. The server offered me gluten-free pasta… for a $ 2 up-charge.(I guess the pizza crust also has an up-charge.) My group suggested she waive that, since they were out of the pizza crust. Instead of saying«Let me talk to my manager and see what I can do for you,» she said WE should talk to the owner. Way to provide great service! {sarcasm font} Then later, when we ordered a round of gelato, which arrived melty and messy, I had to ask her to clear the dinner dishes off the table. Who wants to eat dessert while looking at piled up plates of food? This gal was just not trained to be a good server. If you can get past that, you’ll enjoy the food. :)

Busy place but service was excellent and the food was as well. Pizza, thin crust with a good sauce and fresh toppings, spaghetti and meatballs definitely had ground veal and chicken Milano which was very good as well. Great staff that knows how to move and cleanliness everywhere we saw. Well worth the money.

Green Lake location is very nice. Good service but a bit pricey for Italian food. They would benefit by adding a lower priced lunch menu. They do have good food.

Tried Christiano’s for the first time and both my husband and I became instant fans. Ordered a cheese and mushroom pizza which was fresh tasting and delicious. Would have liked a little more cheese and a tad crispier crust, but overall it was very good and nicely seasoned. Best pizza we’ve had in the area. Also ordered a chicken avocado sandwich. The sandwich was y-u-m and much larger in size than anticipated — probably 8 or 9″ long and LOADED with avocado and chicken. The sub-style sandwich bun was absolutely delicious and grilled crispy on the inside, and really complimented the avocado, chicken, shredded lettuce and tomato. All around a tasty experience. The person taking our phone order and the delivery person were both polite and efficient. Experienced super quick delivery as well. We look forward to sampling other Christiano offerings in the future!

Happy Days are Here Again! Much to my wonderment, I spied a *gasp* craft beer list on the table during my most recent visit to the restaurant. Therefore, eighty-one years after the repeal of the Volstead Act, Christiano’s ode to prohibition is finally over and you can finally order a beer or a glass of wine to go with your meal. That development combined with a marked improvement to their pizza crust has placed this eatery firmly in four-star territory in the eyes(and taste buds) of this grizzled pizza-hound. First things first, bravo to Christianos for compiling an impressive menu of craft beers. In the past, the absence of ‘any’ wine or beers options detracted from the dining experience at this establishment. The general manager definitely put some thought into their beer list — it is not the typical Miller High Life /Bud Light type of fare you usually see from area restaurants. I loved the Nut Brown Ale from Ashland’s South Shore Brewery — it complemented the meal and made a special occasion(my dad’s 80th birthday) even more memorable. I posted a picture of the beer list, since that information is currently not available online. Second, Christiano’s did a tremendous job improving the quality of their pizza crust. A great pizza is a balancing act between the crust, sauce and toppings. Each component should complement the other. If one component fails, the pizza as a whole suffers. In the past, the crust has been the weak link, but not last night. Golden brown on the exterior and no soggy spots in the center of the pie with great chew and flavor, the kitchen did a superb job nailing this component. As in prior visits, the properly seasoned sauce tasted fresh with the acidity of the tomatoes being balanced out with a hint of sweetness. While I would have preferred a little more concentrated tomato flavor, I felt the red sauce complimented the other components. With over 30 topping options, Christianos provides all the traditional favorites. It is still a little disappointing not to see cheese options like feta or chevre or specialty Italian meats like Prosciutto Ham. Nonetheless, it is not difficult to construct a pie that needs the needs of your group. I’m a fan of the flavorful sausage and the vegetable topping are all fresh and generously applied. I also enjoyed the quantity and fresh quality of the cheese. While best known for their pizzas, the menu boasts a wide variety of pastas, sandwiches and salads. There also offer gelato and cannoli as dessert options. In addition, if you have the kiddos in tow, there are plenty of kid-friendly options on the menu. I have always experienced stellar service during any of my visits to the restaurant and last night was no exception. Roberta helped ensure last night’s birthday festivities went off without a hitch. She performed all the duties of a great server(prompt order taking, explaining menu options, keeping us properly hydrated, maintaining proper flow of the meal, clearing dirty dishes, checking on our satisfaction with each course, etc.) with an infectious cheerfulness. Seated near the open kitchen, the noise level made it difficult at times to carry on a conversation. That was really the only negative of a truly wonderful evening. Therefore, if you are looking for a casual dining option after spending a day gallivanting around the Green Lake area, you cannot go wrong giving Christiano’s a shot.

My family worked with Ryan to plan a rehearsal dinner near Green Lake, WI for my niece. We had a large group at this destination wedding with over 60 people. Their private event space is cozy with a separate entrance from the regular restaurant. Ryan was accommodating and easy to work with. He and his team worked with us so we could stay on budget. The result was really a nice time with plenty of food and time to do all we wanted to do with mixing, networking, toasting and having a wonderful plentiful buffet. The pizza was great and so much of it(we got to take some back to resort). The only little thing is the echo in the room which he said they will be working on. Thanks Ryan and Christinos for a great time.

Recently dined in at Christiano’s for a birthday dinner with our son. Of course had to order the pizza, while the others ordered seafood alfredo, chicken alfredo and lasagna. I have to say the seafood alfredo is wonderful and their garlic bread served with the entrée is so delicious. Wished they served Wine or Beer but understand the choice not too.

Friendly staff, very clean environment, good service. However, the pizza isn’t very good. Definitely needs more toppings and fresh ingredients. I honestly would rather have a $ 5 Little Caesars. They should serve alcohol. There are too many staff members. It might be a work-in-progress. They could definitely turn it around by making certain improvements.

I really like the pizza at Christianos! Its thin crust with a nice vibrant tomato sauce, and just the right amount of flavorful mozzarella cheese. If you’ve had Marty’s pizza in Waukesha/Delafield/Brookfield or pizza from the North Lake Inn(in North Lake) the flavor and heft to the pizza is almost identical. What is really critical for me is their Italian Sausage. This is where most pizza places fail. Christianos does it right. I’ve also tried their lasagna, which was good but overpriced($ 12 if I recall correctly). The dining room is ok. It’s very clean which I appreciate. My two main complaints: They arent open on Sundays They dont serve beer or wine. I have heard this is because they have Christian fundamentalist owners. Hence the name of the Restaurant.

Great fresh thin crust pizza made in an authentic pizza oven! Salads are fresh and service is friendly and prompt. Kitchen is kind of open concept and you can take a peek back there to see the pizza in progress-always a fun touch. Be advised, they are closed on Sunday. A little crazy in the restaurant business. The traditional day to be closed is Mondays and in a vacation area many might like to go out Sunday evening for pizza on a holiday weekend. The property is lovely and they have a ice cream/gelato hut open in the summer. Gelato was so-so. I have a had better. They also do catering but I have not used them for that so cannot review it.

Christiano’s has some really good pizza, which I like, but my family LOVES! Their cheesy garlic bread is also a great app. I haven’t heard great things about the pasta, but why get anything other than the pizza anyway. They also have some mean gelato at their little shop on the other side of the parking lot.

Both our meals came with a huge salad and good garlic bread. The garlic bread was maybe a little too crunchy. My girlfriend’s Shrimp and Scallop pasta was swimming in butter but had little flavor. I also had to add salt and pepper to my Chicken Alfredo. The cheese cake desert was great, but very small and expensive. Altogether it was too pricey for what we got. We might have made a mistake to get non pizza menu items rather than pizza from a pizza places. So I have to review their pizza some other time.
