I love the pizza and service BUT the price has gone up nearly 40% from sub $ 10 to $ 15 today, as of 4÷17÷2016. That is huge! I suspect they hoped no one was watching, Surprise! One star to express my frustration, food five stars. So why go there any more?

My kids were bugging me to get the Jack o Lantern pizza for dinnner. Since I am an amazingly awesome mom, I happily abliged. Super simple dinner? Yes please, sign me up. I called ahead so that I could quickly pick up the feast and head home. The person who took my order said that they would be ready for pick up in 10 minutes. I arrived at Papa Murphys 15 minutes later. I stepped up to the cashier and paid for my pizzas. Then she started looking for my order. It was missing. The manager becomes involved trying to locate the missing pizzas. After about 10 minutes, I suggest just remaking the missing pizzas. The manager was completely annoyed and finally instructed the pizza makers to remake my 2 pizzas. One of the workers got right on it, he was apologizing for the mix up and said that he would immediately make my pizza. Upon hearing that, the manager flipped out! She reprimanded the employee for placing my order before the tickets that were already in line to be made. He tried to justify it to her and she wasn’t having it. She told him that if he didn’t like her rules, he could walk out the door and lose his job. I was mortified! The manager was an older woman(not wearing a name badge). It was completely unprofessional to yell at an employee on the floor in front of customers. The poor pizza maker guy just kept apologizing to me. I told him that I would just wait. I didn’t want him to get into any trouble. In the end, I was inside of Papa Murphys for over 30 minutes. There needs to be some serious training to management. It is not acceptable to yell at employees, especially when the employee was trying to fix a mistake. The manager offered no apology for the mix up, no discount, nothing but attitude. I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

This pizza was good for a take and bake. I thought their herb oregano was a bit overpowering. I’m not sure if it is in their sauce or if they sprinkle it on their pizza when they make it. If so I will try the garlic sauce instead.

Unfortunately almost every time I go to this papa murphys I have issues. My pizza has been given away a couple of times to another customer sadly which they then take about 20 mins plus to make 2 family size delites between two to three people. They have tried to give me a large when we ordered family size and then continued to argue with me about it saying that I said large and that it was confirmed over the phone, so I tried to be nice and I walked out to the car to ask my husband if he was okay with 2 larges instead and he wasn’t thrilled as he is a big boy and we just had gotten back from the military base after a long day of an «exercise» day, he said you ordered family size over the phone and the young girl confirmed it, go back in and tell them. When I walked back in I kindly told the manager that my husband still wanted family size and that I did confirm it over the phone and the manager got annoyed with my response and said well the girl is new and she may have screwed up, the young girl looked slightly upset at that comment. She said fine and told the young girl and boy to make the pizzas again. They started making the pizzas slowly and were talking so the manager had said something about sending them home. My husband had then walked in and he was in uniform and the manager asked him if he needed help and I let her know he was with me and she looked slightly shocked. When I had paid for the pizzas she let me know to bring the receipt back next time so I could get 3 dollars off anything including the delite. That happened last week and today I went in and had issues. The young girl that was there wouldn’t give me the 3 dollars off and she was pretty snooty and not just to me. She grabbed a family size and a much smaller one. I had ordered 2 family size delites. She looked at the other girl and said wheres the family size this is wrong, girl said right on rack which it was. So luckily got my 2 family size delites. She didn’t even stamp my card for me which I handed to her with my debit card. This place has been getting worse lately. Sadly I’m not sure if I’ll return. There’s more I could say but I won’t on here.

My husband and I get pizzas from Papa Murphy’s fairly often and the pizzas are always very good and what we ordered. The wait time isn’t very long at all. It’s mostly teenagers that work here and when the manager isn’t in, they get orders wrong a lot because they are joking around and talking instead of concentrating on what they’re doing, but at least they’re pretty friendly for the most part, or they have been in my case.

First off, I’d like to let everyone know that I really do love the Papa Murphy’s franchise and have ordered pizzas from dozens of their locations. AND… I have had good experiences at all of them, EXCEPT from the Papa Murphy’s in the KMart shopping center. The employees as well as the manager are so rude! This location hardly honors coupons that I have; they make all sorts of excuses on why they won’t honor them and have denied letting me use my «take n bake» club card! It’s absurd! I have never had bad experiences at any other location. I will never order from this location again! Grass Valley is far too small of a town to have such poor customer service! When in GV I’m strictly ordering from the Papa Murphy’s in the Fowler center!

Piss poor service. Waited in line only to be skipped and subsequently told that another individual was there first, when they were not. Person taking the order argued with my wife and myself. I might have stayed but the individual decided to be a snooty little brat and be disrespectful to both of us. Completely uncalled for. We walked out and will not be back. You’re better off going to the Papa Murphy’s near Save Mart. Much better staff and much better service.

Yum! Fresh pizza that I can bake to my liking and pull out piping hot when I’m hungry. The only weird thing about this place is that they tell you it’ll take 20 minutes for any order you place, regardless of what day/time you call it in. Now, we all know they make plenty of combination pizzas and all the popular one topping pizzas and keep them stacked on the racks until a customer walks in… so why the wait? I guess they really want to make you think they make it when you order it everytime but… you can bet on a Friday night, they’ve got those pies well in advance so just charge on in there and grab one! Gotta love Papa Murphy’s!
