Judy’s Grants Pass Florist & Gifts

We were from out of town, coming to a close relative’s funeral. We had ordered flowers ahead of time to be delivered to the viewing at the funeral home. When we got there, we discovered our flowers were not delivered. In fact, they weren’t even ordered. Whatever florist they first called, rejected the order and they were supposed to find a florist who would take the order but never did. Well, the director of the funeral home called Judy’s in Grant’s Pass and the flowers we wanted were delivered in less than 30 minutes. We were thrilled. What customer service! Thank you, thank you!!!

Judy’s did my wedding flowers, and from start to finish, they were amazing. Judy herself squeezed me in with no appointment to go over what it was I wanted. She was willing to work with me bringing in lavender to help keep the cost down. She created exactly what I wanted for my bridal party flowers, and ordered extra bulk flowers so I could make my own arrangements, again, to help keep cost down. The bouquets were beautiful! They were beyond what I had imagined. She called me up with ideas for how to make them better, and did an amazing job executing it! On top of that, it was all very affordable. Granted, I purposefully chose flowers that I knew would not be too expensive to get, but she took my ideas and made them so much better! I still can’t believe how beautiful they were.

I have lived here all of my life and have used Judy’s for years and am surprised at the negative comments. The flowers have always arrived on time and have been just what I ordered, beautiful. They will go out of their way to make a special and unique arrangement for you. They have always been kind and professional.

I order flowers for my Grandma who lives out in the sticks of Grants Pass every year on her birthday. I have used 1 – 800 flowers in the past, but they are getting too expensive and my last experience with them was less than stellar. I figured I would cut out the middle man and go directly through a local florist. Like most people I checked out the reviews online before ordering. I notice a Judy’s Florists in GP and in Central Pointe. With minimal options in Grants Pass I went with Judy’s, but called the Central Pointe location, since they had better reviews. The gentleman that answered was pleasant, not much for chit chat at first, but he sounded busy. I placed my order and before I hung up I decided I would ask him if they were connected to the Judy’s in Grants Pass and he said yes. I told him I was very wary using them because of the negative reviews. He explained the situations of what happened and I actually laughed when he told me their side of the story with the whole deflated balloon issue. I mean seriously who does that? He agreed. And on that note, they had no idea that man’s mother was a diabetic, so can they really be to blame? They were just trying to be nice and rectify the situation. On that note, my experience with them ordering was pleasant, the price was great, and I got a call from my Grandma today who was just in 7^th Heaven. She loved them, it is a beautiful arrangement, she went into way more detail about each flower then you need to read here, but she said they were one of the most beautiful arrangements I’ve ever sent. Judy’s Grant Pass Florist & Gifts has won my business and will be the florist I use in GP from now on.

Worst florist company that has ever come to grants pass. If you give them a simple request they look at you like they don’t have a brain in their heads

Being out of town (out of state actually) its always risky using a business you don’t know. I was referred to Chet’s Florist but the phone number is the same for Judy’s. Once we got that out of the way I said that I’d read Derek W’s review on Unilocal... normally when you ask a merchant about a negative Unilocal review they like to tell their side of it. .. not Judy. She got snarky. She refused to comment. .. .ok…
I told her who referred me (a fine local business) and she only said «How can I help you.» EWWWW Not gracious or engaging. I just lost a relative who lives in GP and I was in no mood to be giving my money to someone who’s nasty.
When you sell flowers you are working with people on the verge of tears or ecstatic (weddings) so having a pleasing personality is a good idea. I’m glad that I called Rouge River Florist — she took kind care of me. (see review)

Spent $ 80 for my mother’s birthday today (4÷19÷2011).
I knew something was wrong when the owner, Judy, didn’t provide a friendly greeting, When I decided what I was going to get, she acted like I was an inconvenience for ordering. Her attitude is completely uppity, so if that’s your sort of thing, then you too can feel like an elitist here!
If you want respect and to be treated like a customer who’s appreciated for spending your money with them, then avoid Judy’s Grants Pass Florists and Gifts.
Problem Two. Paid for delivery of an Azalea tree and Balloon to be delivered to my mother. Tree arrived, but the balloon wasn’t inflated and just stuffed at the base of the tree. Which florist do you know that doesn’t inflate their balloons when they deliver them.
My mother called and they acted frustrated that they have to come back out and provide an inflated balloon. The driver insisted on recovering the original deflated balloon before handing over the inflated one. My mother asked if she could keep it for her inconvenience. They said no, we gave you candy for that. BTW, My mother is diabetic, candy does her no good.
What a great impression Judy’s Florists and Gift made on my mother’s 64^th birthday… NOT!
AVOID Judy’s Florist! They aren’t appreciative that they have the opportunity to serve the people of Grants Pass.

We went to Judy’s for our wedding flowers and had an overall great experience. Judy was patient in meeting with us numerous times and worked with us to meet the needs of our personal style and budget. My only complaint was that we somehow ended up with a different bout for my husband than the one we had ordered, which I didn’t notice until after the ceremony when it was too late anyway. Everything else was beautiful-​I would say just make sure the person picking up with flowers knows exactly what was ordered :)

Great service. I’ve been getting flowers for my mom from this place for a few years now. This year they had a mix up and didnt get my flowers out on the day I needed them, but the owner called me and gave me an upgraded arrangement to make up for it. Mistakes happen, but it sure is nice to have them offer to make up for it.

Beautiful flowers and arrangement. Great place to go for interior decorating ideas. Probably the biggest and maybe the best florist in this sleepy little town.
