First time here, small little place but tidy and clean. Salsa and chips were very good except the salsa was chilled but still very tasty! Had the torta ahogada, huge serving and great price at $ 6. It’s drenched in a flavorful spicy sauce. Side of rice was under cooked a little, the beans were great and my son has the quesadillas added bistec(beef) had a bite and wanted more also a very large portion. Homemade horchata was go good regretted not getting a large instead! Will be visiting again soon!

as stated, I wanted to go back a few times and update my initial review– in a word, IT’S BETTER! It take alot to get 5 starts from me, but they are a solid 4++ with friendly owner/chef/family service and friendly patrons. My wife and I had an items I was unfamiliar with but recommended by owners son. We had«huarerches»(I most likely misspelled) which is a plateful of flat corn masa tortillas(made within the hour!), excellent lard-free beans, fabulous Al Pastor meat, lettuce, crema, tomato etc -*****(5 star dish for $ 4.50) totally filled me up, end of story. We shared our small table with 2 hispanic«regulars» who praised the«pasole», so thats my next stop(weekends only @ $ 6.00) Lovely place with tables for 8 folks, counters for an additional 10-what adeal — –only in America can this wonderful Guadalahara-style spot have me spreading the word all over town. BRAVO…
