Horrible service. Horrible food. The red headed girl in the front had an attitude while taking my order. We had ordered nachos and the cheese was cold with a handful of steak. I asked them to microwave it for and they had the nerve to have an attitude with me. They salsa bar wasn’t stocked and was dirty. Waste of money. Never going back again. If I could give a 0 star rating, I would.

This has been the Worst steak fajita quesadilla — hardly no meat in the quesadilla, tortilla hard and chewy.

Most ridiculous experience ever. I place catering orders for my company and I’ve never dealt with something more difficult in my life. I ordered 2 dozen tacos(taco cabana’s choice) and requested that they include vegetarian tacos and 16 coffees. I asked that the coffees be put in one container and left my phone number for them to call me if that wasn’t possible. That was about 20 hours prior to pick up time. I got a call 7 minutes before I was going to pick up the order telling me that they couldn’t do coffee like that and asking me what kind of breakfast tacos I wanted since apparently my vegetarian taco request was very confusing. I asked for 6 potato and egg, 6 bean and cheese, 6 chorizo and egg, 6 bacon and egg. When I arrived, they said I could have a refund for the coffee but wanted to charge me more for the tacos since they were not«taco cabana’s choice»(even though they called and asked what I wanted). I asked what taco cabana’s choice was and they told me it was 3 potato and egg, 3 bean and cheese, 3 chorizo and egg, and 3 bacon and egg. I told the lady that I had asked for 2 dozen and 6 of the exact same tacos. She couldn’t for the life of her understand that 2 dozen of 3, 3, 3, and 3 was the exact same as 6, 6, 6, and 6 and kept telling me I didn’t understand her. She finally charged me the taco cabana choice price but clearly had no grasp of the fact that 2×3= 6

Horrible service. I waited 30 mins for my food. Went back to the front and was told that«The food was prepared». Well it was but it was never given to me.

Good Service, clean facility, tasty food. We sat on the outdoor patio, it was breezy and sun just set, it was very romantic and nice.

I came to this location because they are known for their speedy service, however I didn’t know that during my visit it would be my last. I went through the drive — thru(just like any other time) and place my order. I was greeted by a rude server at the window and then when I asked for some other salsas from the bar she calmed that it would be extra! excuse me?! I always get the salsa at the bar for no charge, when did you start charging? She then goes on to tell me they didn’t have any. I parked my car, went inside and low and behold there it was, right in my face!

This is a fast food place that serves up speedy mexican food. Don’t have high expectations. This establishment is always clean. The staff are what you get at any fast food joint. Some are really on it while others aren’t. They have a small condiment bar which was well stocked. Today we visited for breakfast. Got a #21 which is 2 tacos. We paid $ 9.04 for two #21’s. You pay extra for orange juice. The tacos aren’t special but they do the job. I’m from the Valley so the further up north the Mexican restaurant, the worse the food. Even the chain restaurants in the Valley are better but I’m up North Texas so this is what is available. If you’re looking for cheap and ok food then come here.

I had to check this place out because I remember going to one 10 years ago in San Antonio. I was excited to see it when I came to visit Dallas. I have to say it was delicious. I had the street tacos combo and we also ordered 1lb of steak and chicken combination. Our eyes felt bigger than our mouths haha. I also had the quesadilla that came with Pico de Gallo an guacamole. They have a salsa bar that has a creamy ranch salsa. It goes perfect with anything. Can’t wait to visit Texas again to eat at Taco Cabana. Hopefully they’ll open one in Arizona soon.

A group of us went at lunch hour. I had been to a Taco Cabana once several years ago and did not think much of it. Basically it was over priced«fast» food. This experience was even worse than I remembered my first experience being. It was quite busy. Only ONE person taking orders the entire time. That process was horrible. We would have left except we figured that by the time we waited it would have been the same time. The place was so dirty. And the open tables were left with food on them. When we asked someone to clean them, they just removed the trash and left the tables with, well, you know, «stuff» on them. Stay away from this place.

Do u ever wonder if you’re a little too critical because you dine here often because you live so close? Today, I tried enchiladas here for the first time… 2 beef, one cheese. I get my plate, no shredded cheese on top… the employee who brought my food said it was for kid meals only. I said the pictures on the menu has cheese and does not clarify for kids meals only. My beef, good is the appropriate word. My cheese enchilada was still still stone cold in the middle. So I ask my 7 yr old who ordered a kids enchilada with double beans… she didn’t get double beans(as printed on the ticket) and guess what… stone cold in the middle as well. But she got her cheese on top when the food arrived… lol But like I said, we eat here often because for the most part, the food is better than Taco Hell, its close, priced right, but they can’t ever seem to get an order right for us. No exaggerations, this crew needs some proper training in common sense.

food is good majority of the time, their problem is that they have a high turnover rate, I notice new employees all the time. If you want your food to go, it’s best to go inside rather than the drive thru.

I’ve had some good and bad experiences with this location. Sometimes the tacos would be a disgusting greasy mess, literally covered and dripping. Other times the food would be good. Just a side note: one time my girlfriend and I were about to order, and a customer walked up and complained to the cashier that there was a fly in his food. My girlfriend and I both left and went to Chick-fil-A ;)

Gr8 food, Gr8 price. Love the black bean tacos and warm tortillas, so fluffy and cuddly like a fav blanket. Heard the quesadillas and crispy tacos hit the spot! Only fast food place I’ve seen that serves liquor. Nice patio too.

Service may not be the Taco Cabana’s strong point, but the food remains consistently good. This location in south Grand Prairie, just north of the I-20 and Carrier Parkway intersection, is at least very clean, unlike it’s Irving(183) counterpart, and the counter service is friendly and efficient. I ordered the regular $ 1.99 cheese nachos, while my husband ordered the black bean burrito. The latter is tasty and makes a decent healthy meal, but the nacho serving was disappointing, with just a small handful of chips and way too many little broken pieces at the bottom. Fortunately, you just have to ask for a second helping of chips, and they happily refill your bowl for free. Service was very slow — we waited nearly ten minutes for our order, despite its simplicity and the fact that it was 3pm on a Saturday afternoon, and there appeared to be more staff than customers in the restaurant. Not exactly fast food, and no one apologized to us for the wait. Staff just appeared a little disorganized, and frankly, it’s par for the course at the few Taco Cabanas I’ve been to. Still, Taco Bell may have them beat when it comes to speed, but for the quality of the food, it’s pretty good.

Ahhhh… Taco Cabana. Many was the night in my misspent youth where an evening(and subsequent morning) of clubbing in Deep Ellum or Greenville was followed by a quick trip to Taco Cabana for their Fajita Nachos. And as a recent late-night revisit brought home to me, their food still satisfies in the wee-morning hours! Why? As President Clinton was want to say, «It’s the cheese, stupid!» Okay, maybe that was actually me. But in any event, the queso they use here could be classified as its own food group, its so addictive. This is fast-food mexican done right!

So we were on our way to the Canton First Monday Trade Days and we needed fuel and some early afternoon food. We ended up stopping at this Taco Cabana(after a quick coffee run @ Starbucks) and got something to eat. I ended up ordering the advertised Cabana Bowls, but I was finding that ordering was quite a challenge. Usually I love having options, but sometimes there are just way too many options given(this one for example). The questions were… What kind of meat? Chicken, Beef, Fajita Chicken or Beef Cheese? Guacamole? Sour Cream? Pico De Gallo? What kind of beans? Black Beans? Borracho? Refried? Ok… pretty typical, then the questions got a little strange… Do you want the crispy bowl? What kind of lettuce would you like? Iceberg, Romaine… I was a little shocked when she started asking me these questions, and I tried to respond as soon as I realized what she was asking. Maybe it’s just me, but I wish they would simplify that process a little more for these Cabana Bowls(or maybe follow Which Wich’s process as an example?) The lobby was clean and… wait. Did they just call my number? Yeah! They don’t have a speaker system in the restaurant so they’ve resorted to yelling out the order numbers from the kitchen(while I’m way over in the dining area, separated by a wall and soda machines). Anyhow, the Cabana Bowl was delicious(and pretty reasonably priced).

Great Food, usually great service with the occasional hiccup, but it IS fast food technically. I could eat here almost every day of the week. I like Chicken Flautas w/guacamole on the side, also the breakfast tacos are great.
