I was here 1÷28÷16 and I received nothing but the upmost professionalism, respect, and most of all, customer service that you hardly see anywhere else these day’s! I’ve been seeing Dr. Tarrant and his partners for over a decade, and I can tell you, customer service is their upmost priority. This location is under new management, it has been remodeled, and updated. They also have several other locations around the metroplex. Try them out, or don’t.

TL;DR: This place sucks at communicating and lies about when your appointment was scheduled to try and make themselves look better. I had checked my insurance and they said that 2020 was a company that accepted my insurance 100% and they had an online booking tool. Now when my fiancé had made an appointment with Target Optical he was able to schedule his appointment online down to the time. I thought that this would be the same thing. Apparently not. I put in a «request» and they called me the next time to book an appointment. Well that’s not really online scheduling now is it? I had made my appointment for 3:00 in the afternoon because I was off at 2pm. I got a confirmation email the morning of, AND a text confirmation as well. When I found out that I was working until 4pm, I called(at 11:00) and asked them to push it back to 4:30. The lady was pretty nice and told me that they didn’t have a 4:30, but I could make a 5:00 appointment. That was perfectly fine for me! I had gotten off at 4:40 so I called them and let them know I might be late. They warned me if I was too late, I’d have to wait until the next appointment. I ended up arriving at 5:05, which isn’t really that late. I like to arrive early so I’m glad I called. I know people are sometimes even later than that. When I got there the receptionist pulled my insurance and told me I had a copay, which I shouldn’t have had because of my level of insurance. When I told her that I shouldn’t have a copay and that the insurance she pulled was incorrect, she told me she would look into it but I should take a look at glasses and have a seat because they would be with me shortly. While I was trying to pull up my insurance on my dying phone, the 5:15 appointment was checking in at the counter. When I pulled up the information I took it to the receptionist and she was able to pull up the correct information. She had the basic insurance and I was paying for the premium. That was corrected, but I think she put me at the bottom of the check in list. After I fixed the mix up with my insurance I felt comfortable enough to look at glasses. One of the women that worked there was trying on glasses for herself and never asked me if I needed help. Normally I wouldn’t care, but she asked EVERYOTHERPERSONAFTERME if they needed help with anything. That was a little offensive. I sat down for about 20 min and was pulled in to have a «pre check» done. They dilated my eyes and did all the pressure tests, the lady then told me that they would be with me as soon as there was an office available. The next few appointments came in and a woman and her daughters checking in for a 5:30. The 5:30 family got pushed ahead of everyone. I guess they knew someone because the whole staff was talking to them and complementing them and giving them free bags. While the 5:30 was paying the optometrist came back and pulled the 5:15 back to do her eye exam(it was almost 6 pm at this point) My phone had died and the appointment was already taking longer than I anticipated so I asked to use their phone to call my fiancé and let him know where I was at. The lady looked at me as if I was some criminal and told me she had to key in the number but she couldn’t help me. There were about 4 other woman behind the desk so I asked one of the others if I could use the phone. Again they had to dial the number, but whatever people have weird rules. Well the lady didn’t put in the 1 before area code so my call wouldn’t go through but at that point she had walked away. Okay… I guess it shouldn’t be THAT much longer, I had already been there for an hour as it was a little last six. When the owner’s wife was telling the 6:00pm appointment that they were down a room and one of their doctors had left the practice, I learned why this was taking so long. Why they couldn’t have informed me OVERANHOURAGO about the delay or the multiple times I spoke with them throughout the day, I’ll never know. I waited another twenty min before I realized I didn’t want these people to have my money. I told them I didn’t want my insurance billed for this visit and I was cancelling the appointment. They asked me if I wanted to reschedule. HA! Then the owner told me that my appointment was for 5:45, which was a lie because I had to email with the 5:00 confirmation and you think one of the people I spoke with over the hour and a half I wasted my life during would have said something. This place is very unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE.
