Everyone knows how tiny these places are. This photo does not even show all of the people standing in the front and all around me I would have got a better picture but the lady in blue was staring at me. I counted 21PEOPLE! lmao. Way to long of a wait and to busy and uncomfortably cramped. The Dr. was not to helpful at all, she looked like a white lady, so maybe she was filling in for dr. Chen? all I know is I will not go back. Ugh this is what I get for going to Walmart!

Staff up front is very rude. I had an appointment and they were taking the walk ins before me. When I said something the receptionist rolled her eyes at me and made me wait even longer. I walked out and I will never go back to Walmart vision center ever again. The two receptionists were only interested in helping the Spanish speaking customers. Myself and another English speaking customer were completely ignored and pushed back repeatedly when we had appointments.

I’m not blind. Yay. Came here a few weeks ago for an impromptu eye exam because my current glasses didn’t seem to help as much anymore. This location was also the most reasonably priced one. The other clinics wanted $ 70+ and I really didn’t want to pay that much. This location charges $ 39 for an eye examination for glasses– I think it’s $ 110 if you want a prescription for contacts. The exam itself was easy. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The staff was friendly and very efficient. I had to fill out minimal paperwork and before I knew it, I was already in the first examination room. I didn’t get Dr. Chen but I got his associate. Dr. Fazel is very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable taking to him. He explained what was wrong with my eyes and what I could do to make it better. I’m happy to have found a reasonably priced place to get my eyes checked.

Dr. Eugene Chen’s office is right next to Walmart’s Vision Center. The basic eye exam was $ 39 flat. No appointment is necessary and walk-ins are welcome. The office is open on Saturdays and closes at 5pm. I needed an eye exam since the last one was over a decade ago. Walk-in and you’re greeted by the receptionist. Fill out two forms and you’ll shortly be called into room A where they test your depth of field and eye pressure with two different devices. Next I was called into room C where Dr. Chen kindly greeted me. We went over the standard eye exam and whether I could read the last line(I could not). We go through a series of «1 or 2», «3 or 4», 5 or 6″, «7 or 8» to determine which I could clearly see through. Dr. Chen and I ended up chatting a bit since we had both lived in NYC. Dr. Chen was extremely informative, friendly and knowledgable. I would highly recommend Dr. Chen to anyone who is in need of a basic eye exam.
