I’ve been going to santoni’s since I moved to the area more than ten years ago. Today I called the bakery to get a cake for my husband’s birthday. I spoke with a young woman who had an attitude most unnecessary. As if she was doing me a favor by existing. She said I had to request at least 72 hours in advance for a cake without even offering to see what they had in the case or what they were scheduled to bake tomorrow. I did ask this question but she wasn’t receptive to answering just offering to text her supervisor to see if they could«break the rule» all with the moodiness of a grumpy teenager. By the way I didn’t need the cake for 48 hours. I shouldn’t have to beg for good service. Thank you but no thank you, the attitude was grossly unnecessary I hear the new bakery by Safeway is good. They will be getting my business.

Another recommendation from one of the locals… This is the kind of deli/market you want in ANY town!!! I had a sandwich called«Cloak and Dagger», basically a Reuben but substitute cole slaw for the sauerkraut. Absolutely wonderful! One of the things that stood out for me was the rye bread… perfectly toasted and the correct thickness to support the bounty of corned beef and slaw. They have tables outside where you can eat(weather permitting) Stop reading this and go check it out. Really good stuff!

Everything really good when it comes to prepared foods. Corned beef is horrible. Textured and look is similar to ground and pressed meat. A place like this should be using«real» brisket with probably less cost. Go with turkey and tell them to use Boars Head.

Tried out this hidden gem after wanting to go for some time. I was in the mood for a good deli sandwich. I had the chicken salad on rye, tomato and onion. Great deli counter person and the sandwich was a A+!

The sunshine salad in the deli was 9.99 lb. I didn’t expect to have asparagus stems in there that were not trimmed. After cooking the asparagus, they would have been obvious that they would not be tender. You are suppose to cut off the woody ends!

Some things aren’t as fresh as they used to be. I’ll still stick to my pre-made salads and dressing. However, I’ll keep stopping by for now. I just wish there were more things that I could come here for.

Stopped by today to pick up a sandwich. I ordered the BLT. $ 5.99 and oh so good. Service was quick and the staff friendly. It’s a marketplace so they also sell fresh fruit, baked goods, specialty items and they have a hot bar. I picked up some mangos and strawberries while I was there. Better price than the grocery store. This is actually my 2nd time having Santoni’s. 2 weeks ago we picked up catering for my grandmother’s 70th Birthday. The food was delicious. Chicken was moist, the mashed potatoes were out of this world and I liked the added touch of almonds to the green beans. I’ll definitely be frequenting this place more often.

Visit here Serval times a week for lunch an also to pick up some dinner. The food is always very good n fresh. I get the turkey club on wheat toast for lunch a lot very good! The staff is always so pleasant they know my name every time I come in. The owners/managers are always there an are always walking around greeting customers. Very nice feeling ever time I go in there!

WOW!!! I had my birthday party catered by Santoni’s. I was recommended by my friend and I’m so glad I decided to have them cater it. I also had it delivered and the delivery guy was on time and very nice! The food was so amazing, I had my friends text me the next day raving about the food. We had Guinness beer bbq meatballs and Satay Chicken skewers and greek salad for appetizers. For dinner We had stuffed shimp, and crab cake for dinner twice stuffed potatoes and broccoli for sides. The food WASSOAMAZING! I would definitely recommend this place for catering! Everything was finger licking GOOD. Also Carrie was SO helpful on suggestion’s for food! I was so happy with the food and the outstanding customer service. Everything was just so delicious :)

Food is ok and over priced. Staff is extremely rude and condescending. Will not be shopping here unless dragged by a friend.

My boyfriend took me here and was talking it up, so naturally I thought, «Oh no, he’s building it up in my head and I’m going to be let down.» Nope! The sandwich I got was absolutely delicious and very filling. I would definitely like to go again. I know they say to try new things, but the Philly Cheesesteak was so yummy that I don’t think I could order anything else haha The store itself has a lot to offer with a variety of foods and brands to choose from. They also carry your basic household necessities as well.

The products are high end, delicious assortment of salads, pastas and deli meats. I would recommend getting a Santoni’s card in order to get some of the discounts. The prices are highly than your average grocery store, but their quality is also higher than your average grocery store. The catering staff has always been helpful, I’ve used them for a couple events. All of my deli trays were perfect, and they helped me out to the car with everything. The guys/gals behind the deli counter are friendly and fairly quick with getting your order together.

We got santonis to cater for us for a 2 week long event and I was deeply disappointed. Coffee was below par. For variety was disappointing.

One of my favorite things about the summertime is that Santoni’s in Glyndon(Baltimore County) has Pit Beef(as well as Turkey and Ham) on Saturdays. I’ve been to Chap’s which is well known for its pit beef sandwich and personally, I think Santoni’s is better. And what makes it extra special? The fact that it’s only available for a few hours a week, a few months out of the year. When you get to Santoni’s, it’s not uncommon to see a long line near the Pit Meat stand, but trust me, it’s worth it. In order to get a sandwich, you need to go inside and purchase a ticket. The ticket is $ 7.50 and it comes with a sandwich, a drink and chips. This meal is a great deal! But when you’re inside purchasing your ticket, you may notice some of the other delicious looking things they offer and decide to purchase something to accompany your meal. My friend and I know how much we love their French Fries so always order a small side of them to go with our sandwiches. After purchasing your ticket you wait in line until it is your turn to order. When you approach the smoked meats, someone will ask you what meat you’d like. I ordered the beef and my dining companion ordered turkey. After the meat is sliced, it will be placed on a roll and wrapped in tinfoil then handed to you. From there, you head to the topping bar to choose your sauces and anything else you would like on your sandwich. My favorite is a mixture of tiger sauce and BBQ sauce. Once you have finished loading up your sandwich with toppings, it’s time to eat. My friend ordered the smoked turkey and put BBQ sauce on it. And my sandwich was rare roast beef with tiger sauce, BBQ sauce and onions. The meat is thinly sliced and full of flavor. Santoni’s easily has some of the best pit beef in Baltimore County. I regularly make the 45 minute trip there for the Pit Beef. But if you’re in the mood for something else, they have plenty of options inside. For great Pit Beef in Baltimore County, make sure to visit Santoni’s.

Went here because we were visiting family in the area and wanted to pick up some food. This place got a lot of good reviews and it is set up pretty nicely inside Why the two stars then? I ate their spicy chicken salad About an hour later, I started feeling queasy and a few hours later, I realized it was a meal and laxative in one. Gross I still feel Sick as I’m typing this and hope it resolves soon

Who doesn’t love Santoni’s? It kind of makes you feel like you live in Stars Hollow(bonus points to anyone who gets that reference). I grew up in this neighborhood. It used to be a pretty big deal to be allowed to walk from Glyndon Pool to Santonis. Then again, back then I typically didn’t have more than some spare change, so I usually ended up with just a Cow Tail or Linda’s Lollipop. Luckily, I now have(slightly) more than 75 cents in my pocket and can enjoy the full offerings of Santonis. This isn’t the type of grocery store where you do your one-stop shop. It would just be silly to buy paper towels or toilet paper here(unless you’re literally fresh out and don’t feel like driving…). The reason to go here is the prepared foods counters, bakery(biscotti, scones, and muffins are yum), and deli. My boyfriend says they make the best Italian Sub he’s ever had. And of course there’s the great neighborhood feel, too.

It wouldn’t really be practical for me to do regular grocery shopping here on a regular basis, but, their deli, prepared foods, and bakery are the best. They have sandwiches, wraps, burgers, fried chicken, the best Greek pasta salad and the best fruit tarts I’ve ever had. Amazing baked goods. They do catering as well, even for weddings. And I definitely would’ve considered them had we ended up with a venue closer to the area that allowed outside vendors.

What can i say? I love this market. It is close to home and unique. I find myself heading there just to make a salad for the whole family because everything is so fresh and begs to be on my plate. It is rare you find a salad so fresh that it doesn’t even need salad dressing, well here it doesn’t need dressing. They are not too pricey either. My other find are their muffins in the middle of the aisles, chocolate cheesecake is worth the try! it is moist yummy goodness. The best find thus far is the cassava chips that they carry. There is thai curry, chilli lime etc and they made excellent snacks. They have food to go, coffee and breakfast bar, quite a selection of desserts and the barkery smells divine. So yes, if you need me to translate further… just go check it out!!!

This is a compact, neighborhood grocery store in Glyndon. It draws a crowd outside of the neighborhood for their prepared foods, bakery and sandwiches. They make some of the best sandwiches especially the Italian cold cut. It has layers of various cold cuts stacked in a really great sub roll. This is what people rave about. The Mediterranean Wheatberry Salad is delicious. It is packed with artichokes, sundried tomatoes, olives, feta cheese mixed with a vinagrette. It’s healthy food you can love. I love that you can pop in here for a lunch and then pick up a few things that you didn’t think you needed. I love that they carry local and specialty products like Dino Bites ice cream. If you need grocery items, they have a small produce section, dairy, freezer and dry goods aisles.
