Viccinos is definitely my favorite deep dish. They aren’t as well known because they’re in the suburbs but it’s where I take all my out of state friends. The 6″ personal pan is very filling. The paninos are HUGE and definitely more than one portion. The chicken parm panino is amazing. I’ve currently moved out of state but any time I’m back in Glenview I make sure to get viccinos.

Ordered medium sausage and pepperoni pizza. Price was about $ 16 but had a $ 4 off coupon. The size is slightly larger than a small. Probably would only go back if they had specials on their pizza. The overall taste of the pizza as good but not great.

On the one hand, it’s the same delicious pizza as other Viccino’s locations. On the other hand, they don’t offer the same awesome two-​slice lunch special as the downtown Glenview location.
On the one hand, they have Coke Zero in the fountain machine. On the other hand, this Coke Zero does not taste like Coke Zero.
On the one hand, they have plenty of seating, way more than downtown Glenview. On the other hand, if you are not interested in midday NFL draft coverage thundering throughout the space, you may not enjoy your time eating here.
But the pie is still terrific, especially the pan. Best pizza in the northern suburbs. For comfort and value though, I’ll stick to the Glenview and Harlem location.

Gluten free pizza here is great! At last, I can finally visit my favorite pizza place when I go back to the area. So happy to have the qualify of Viccino’s on a GF crust.
Also, the guys at this location are awesome. I was visiting with a friend from out of town and it was his last night there, really wanted to have him try their deep-​dish pizza. The guys made it even though it meant they had to stay a bit late. Super nice service, elevated pizza.

Great stuffed pizza. Not overwhelmingly tomato-​ey like some places. Very tasty.
The location is a bit unusual. It is just a storefront in a stripmall. Dont expect a fancy white table cloth experience.
You may, however, expect outstanding pizza.

I have been coming here since I was a freshman in highschool. I love EVERYTHINg on their menu. The paninos are huge and delicious and so are the pizzas.

One of my favorite thin crust pizza places. And can’t beat everyday lunch special: $ 6 ish for two huge slices of cheese or sausage pizza and medium fountain drink. It’s perfect so my son and I each have a slice. The only thing is both restaurants nearby are so tiny. There is a little more table seating here but at the other Glenview location it’s mainly like bar seating and a couple tables.

I have ordered from Viccinos twice on a recommendation from a friend. I love their eggplant. I planned to have my book club over one afternoon and decided to order for our lunch. We placed our order and was told it would be 20 minutes. Thirty minutes later we were called and told they could not complete our order. Then we were told our new order would take another 45 minutes!!! Boy, was I embarrassed and ultimately angry. Why was I not told this to begin with? To add insult to injury, I was told by the guy who called me back that they were «slammed «as if my order was not important. How insulting! The food is good, but I caution you to not get burned the way I did. There are now 14 Glenview area residents who are fed-​up (whoops, they did not feed us). Buyer beware!!!

Also one of the only places that sells whole wheat pizza. And I just had the baby pan last night which was awesome. I remember the small pan which he said is 9 inches was too filling even at a small size. I never knew they had a baby pan. But I was starving last night and needed something. So I noticed they had a baby pan. How awesome. It is only 7 inches. Kinda big but not really. Visually is look like it. But its just the right size. And it is filling but not too much. I had peperoni which was great. Not many places make personal size. Roma Italian kitchen has also got a half and full plank. But not too many places have a personal size and even the smallest small deep or thin is too much.

Love love love this place! We only get thin crust from here, but I absolutely adore the cheese thin crust pizza! Also, the focaccia bread is to die for. The salad with goat cheese and mandarin oranges is delicious. Great service!

I really like Viccino’s! Unfortunately, it’s a little out of my way for pizza, and with that being said, I guess it’s not phenomenal enough for me to drive to very often. However, when I have ordered Viccino’s, my favorite part is how fresh the ingredients taste– it actually leaves me feeling somewhat healthy even after eating pizza. The pizza is never greasy, and has a nice crisp crust. It is not a traditional, extra cheesy Chicago style pizza, but it is very good, and I really enjoy it. I’d definitely recommend this place as an alternative to the standard Chicago chains.

I have just had hands down thee best pizza out of the northern suburb area!
I had called for delivery and they had told me no delivery until 4pm but I can place a delivery for when the drivers comes.
So I did why not? It was only another half hour.
So I i ordered a medium thin crust viccinos special.
I originally wanted a small but they don’t do small thin crust.
An order of foccacia bread.
And a can of cherry coke.
Everything arrived at a proper time still nice and hot!
The crust is sooo good its thin but still has some fluf to it and definitely crisp!
I loved the presentation of the pizza you know it was going to be good just by looking at it.
The sauce was light Just how I like it and full of seasoning!
The bread was great nice and warm tasty and the marinara went along with it very well!
All together you definitely get what you pay for!
I’m very pleased!

We order from Viccino’s every few weeks. Their pizza is good – but far too salty. I wish they could cut back. I do like that they offer a whole-​wheat crust option though. Still, there’s really no contest against the pizza «big boys». Viccino’s sandwiches are reliably good, though since I discovered how good and better priced the sandwiches are at Gusto, I’ll probably order much less frequently from Viccino’s.
Everything is a bit on the pricey side (except for the individual slices of pizza), though the coupons they run in the mail sometimes help a bit. The staff is very friendly, and I appreciate that.

After our misfortune, the owner telephoned me that their POS system is rather old and there are times when a receipt may be lost or late. He was extremely generous and offered us a free pizza. I called to order the pizza. A worker remembered my name and asked if the owner contacted me and how sorry they were. He said I had a free pizza coming. When I went to pick up the order, he offered me complimentary cookies, which i didn’t take.
All businesses have their flukes; this time the owner made it right! Thank you Viccino’s for your great tasting pizza and customer focus!

Holy cow!
Their sandwiches a.k.a. «paninos» are super huge. They remind me of new orlean’s huge sandwich a.k.a. «muffaletta». The bread that comes the sandwich is jus so soft yet crispy. And their vinaigrette dipping sauce just seals the deal!
They also have daily specials usually around 5 bucks but you get more than your moneys worth!
It’s a really cute place in a strip mall. They have 2 flat screen tvs, outdoor seating, and staff that make you feel like you’re a great addition to the restaurant!
Five stars for great food, great presentation, great deals, 2 big tvs, and superb service!

Went in with my boss, and tried a deep dish pizza. I believe we got the Venice pizza. Though the pizza took a while, the pizza was fantastic! Im not a huge sausage fan, but the sausage in this pizza was yummy! The boss and I couldnt finish the whole thing, so we took it for lunch for the next several days.
The service, the owners, and the place in general are all fantastic!
