Upon entering the establishment you are greeted very warmly and the staff is very nice. I came in for a pedicure and was seated with an incredibly young girl. This girl had no idea what she was doing. She used the cuticle cutter to rip my cuticles instead of cut. She cut the corners of my nails and left it there… She genuinely had no idea what she was doing and you can tell she was very flustered. The nail polish she painted was absolutely awful. I asked for someone else to repaint them which they were very nice and did. However since the cuticles were so ripped up it still looked bad the second time they painted it. So she had to take off the nail polish and cut the cuticles how they’re supposed to be and repaint. Then they proceeded to massage you while you waited for your nails to dry. Customer service was great, however they shouldn’t have people this unskilled. As a new establishment it really doesn’t help when growing their clientele.

I went to La Mode for the first time 2 weeks ago. I got just a pedi and thought $ 30 might be a bit high (I’m cheep, I can say it). But I really enjoyed my experience. Only down side was I got a bit turned around trying to find them. I called them and they gave perfect advice to locate them right behind the gas station.
I was stressed out, going on vacation, and just really needed to relax. The color selection was wide, I pick something fun, and my nail tech was great. I really liked the leg massage, the attention to detail on my nails before paint went down (I usually have to do lots talking to get what I would like), and the paint was extremely well applied.
2 weeks later my toes still look great and the color is still perfect. On my way out the owner gave me lots of info (which I appreciated) on deals, tips, and some of their specialties. I really can’t wait to go back. Especially now that I know where they are.

Awesome. Went here for the first time for no chip and pedicure. Although one of my nails broke a couple days after! (Just switched from artificial nails to no chip… of course this would happen) Shaping is amazing. The girl Jenny did a great job. Two hours for pedicure and mani. Never did I get such great treatment and I would go all over looking for a great nail salon. Highly recommend!

Wow I am really impressed! first time coming here it was so nice and clean. You don’t have the employees talking to each other or doing other things. they will talk to you or just work on you. I got a no chip mani and a pedi and the owner (I think) gave me a list of all the things they do.
She was very attentive. They lady who worked on my nails was detailed she even made a slight mistake while painting, caught it and fixed it she even double checked everything when I left to make sure there were no mistakes. I will be retiring for sure!!! I don’t live near but that won’t stop me. No I have a new place!!!

This place is great! I’ve got a ton of nail salons near me in Skokie, but I went out of my way to La Mode because of their rave reviews and it was worth it. The technicians worked fluidly with each other and were attentive to what I needed. Got the no-​chip and it looks fantastic. Love that they have a punch card too. Parking can be a bit tight because they are located in a strip plaza with very few spaces for too many businesses. Other than that, I will be back!

La Mode is very clean, has a great selection of nail polish — regular and no chip, and provides really great services. They send coupons as well which is always a plus. I highly recommend.

The best nails salon, no-​chip stays on more than 3 weeks without any damage to my nails. Friendly service, receiving coupons and I just won Valentines ruffle, so getting manicure for free:) I am recommending this salon.

I found this place as they were open on Sunday. I had messed up a manicure that I had gotten done at another nail salon. They were very accommodating and fixed me right up for no charge. I’m glad I stumbled upon this place. I cannot wait to try out their service in the near future.

This was by far the best manicure I’ve ever had. They have a lot of extras included that other salons don’t do like a very good hand, shoulder and back massage. They have free reward programs that other salons don’t have and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. This is definitely my new place to go. They also take great care in cleaning the tools which made me happy. The last time I had a manicure I got a terrible infection on my finger so I watch for that now.

I personally have never gotten better service than at this nail salon. I highly recommend coming here to get your nails done! They take extra long on the massages, they serve you hot tea, long back massage at the end, they put a hot pillow around your neck, and the polish lasts an extremely long time. Two thumbs up. I will be going to La Mode every 3 weeks! A mani pedi is $ 40. A bit more expensive than other places I’ve tried, but it’s worth it.

Amazing service. Found this place on Unilocal.They helped me find a fun color for no chip and matched for my pedi. They were all helpful and extremely friendly. Place was very clean and TONS of nail polish/​no chip choices, which is a huge plus in my book. Definitely will be coming back here!
