Excellent customer service by Walter Reed. Extremely passionate and knowledgeable about schott. They got that Japan exclusive 613USTONESTAR in stock! Disappointed to see some popular model were sold out. They need to stock up on more sizes as each jacket of the same size wears differently.

Ok… just bought a amazing leather jacket from these guys & I can’t say enough about the great service I received at this store. I first came to Schott a month ago when shopping with my wife & daughters. I stuck my head in the store with no plans to purchase anything… I’d heard how expensive their jackets where and had never spent near that amount of $$$ on one piece of clothing. I was helped by Walter who quickly deduced I’m a moto guy… with tastes firmly planted in the Café Racer genre. He helped me pick out a 641 jacket… gave me great advice based on his personal experience with this jacket. Even though the jacket fit me perfect I could not pull the trigger on a jacket that expensive. Fast forward to last night when I stopped in for an early birthday present and i could not be happier about my new Café jacket! Walter gets an A+ for his zero pressure sales ethic and all around nice guy attitude… if Schott NYC corp reads this… you guys have a jewel in Walter… he’s a great ambassador for the brand and if I have my way this won’t be my last Schott jacket!

Super stellar service. Marlon and other staff put up with me every time I went in to try on leather jackets. I finally bit the bullet over the Thanksgiving holiday and went home with one that I’ve since named Mary. While I have been eyeing my jacket for some time, it was primarily the attentive but not overbearing help that was provided to me while, again, I excessively tried on jackets and asked probably the same set of questions(over and over) that definitely made it easier to conclude I’d be making a purchase. The Schott shop is fully stocked with major drool worthy goods, and I’d love to return for one of their Woolrich and leather weekender bags. And a belt. And maybe another jacket. It’s also notable to add that this is one of two brick and mortar stores in the entire U.S. I was incredibly stoked to discover that one opened in LA, and in Glendale, of all places. Beats having to drive too far west. Or flying too far east to NYC. I’m definitely looking forward to spending a lot of quality time with Mary, and breaking her in gently and slowly. …

Great place to shop for leather jackets and accessories. Walter Reed– Mgr, along with His cool crew of sales experts are all very warm & accommodating every time I’ve visited the store. They offer an array of all the latest and original leather gear a gentlemen requires. Their knowledge of the product and custom applications are also of great benefit. If anything it’s a great visit to see & tour the shop’s great display. Definitely, a big plus to have a store here in Los Angeles area! The product is great & late hours a big plus to one’s busy schedule & most importantly the great attitude the store offers!

My friend is a leather NERD and had to visit this store since we were visiting LA. The staff is so nice, knowledgeable about leather care and the history of Schott, wide selection on jackets, and nice tshirts. My friend had to buy 4 t-shirts!

Beautiful store, knowledgeable, competent and amiable sales person. Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that the current Schott jackets, especially horsehide ones, just aren’t as heavy as they used to be? Still, they are wonderful fashion items, but this is not a place, of course, for true motorcycle jackets. For that you need Vanson or Dainese, or one of the many less expensive Asian-sourced, but very good, every-day MC jackets. One small item that bothers me is that Schott tends to give the impression that they made A-2 flight jackets before and during WWII, but this, to my knowledge, was not the case. They did, though, make the Pea Coat for the Navy. The A-2s in stock look nice, but are far from historically accurate. If you want a beautiful and fashionable, and distinctive jacket, this is the right place to buy a bit of Americana, at the Glendale Americana!
