Lucy’s Pizza & Burgers

Do not order their pasta with vodka sauce. Probably the worst tasting pasta sauce I’ve ever had. This is a public service announcement

I’ve ordered numerous times from this establishment through Eat24 and have had no complaints until tonight.
Let me start off by saying that the veggie burger is delicious and it’s often what I crave when I get off work late at night. This place is usually the only one still delivering at around 10, so it’s my go-​to. The food always arrives at the time it says it would. Tonight it took 1 hour and 20 minutes, which was 30 minutes over the average. By the time I heard the delivery guy park I was already pissed. As I angrily watched from my window, he called to say he was outside, didn’t make any movements to seem like he wanted to get out of his car at all, and it sounded like he wanted me to go out to his car to get my food. No apologies and my food was lukewarm. This one horrible experience trumps all the good ones all thanks to this d-​bag.

Overall, it’s late night food, not the best pie but the taste was Ok couldn’t complain about it but would never entice us to order again.
Delivery was normal no complaints.
Pasta and garlic bread seemed like they were microwaved but could be wrong, lack of sauce and true taste also added too much salt and oregano. You can tell they work hard in their business and it’s not easy especially with hungry people calling late night but the food just isn’t cutting it, sorry just being honest. I wish them well also whoever was taking our order needs some tweaking in being polite, regret calling them from the jump.

I found this place searching for a place that deliver at 1:30 in the morning. I finally found this place on Unilocal,and I didn’t read any reviews I was just glad they were open and DELIVERED. By the time I had figured out an order and sent the request, it had been 2:10 am and so it registered as a future order. I saw the time, and immediately got a phone call. The guy was super cool, he asked if I intended it to be a future order, and offered to have someone deliver. I felt suppppperrr bad since i forced them to stay open extra and on top of that i had no extra money to tip. STILL, they were super cool. I have been slowly trying out all their menu, seriously an awesome place to eat. All of their deceivingly ordinary menu has a unique taste that really sets apart from other restaurants.

I’ve been ordering from the place for 3 years. I recently stopped due to my work schedule but last night I bragged and bragged about the Mexican philly to my boyfriend so we decided to order delivery. He gets a medium pizza and of course I get the Mexican philly (FREAKING AMAZING) the only let down was the pizza. It looked sad and was extremely hard :(The pizza is no where near what I’m used to from Lucy’s! Maybe they changed recipes or cook time? All and all I just hope they go back to the Lucy’s I remember because that shit was BOMB​.COM!

Ordered delivery late on a Friday and it was super fast! Even better, the pizza was actually really good! (Although, I did put it in the oven for a few minutes because I like it well done.) We’ve had only mediocre-​to-​horrible pizza delivery from the numerous places we’ve tried since moving to LA about a year ago, but this place broke the trend! Definitely will order here again.

My wife and I ordered from Eat24. The delivery was in reasonable time however the food quality was lacking. The fries were a bit soggy and the quality of meat and vegetables on the burgers was poor and tasted weird. They also didn’t seem polite at all.

The Mexican Philly Steak Sandwich was alright but the Potato Mushroom Pizza was terrible. The pizza was described to have «olive oil, garlic, mushrooms, sliced potatoes, thyme, and parsley» but all I got was cheese, French fries, and mushrooms.

It was awesome. If I had to complain, it would be that by the time I’ve consumed the delicious pizza slice with it’s delicious toppings, the crust leaves something to be desired. Other than that I think the staff was great, the hours were great, the prices were great, and the options were great.

I just had amazing Pizza and the Philly cheesesteak. Customer service is so fast and so great. They made it in seconds. NAREK MADE THE BEST FOOD for me and my friend. His so kind and respectful. Amazing person. I would love to go there again and again. Thank you.

I love this place. Real good food that’s open late and that’s rare lol. So clutch. Margherita pizza and their pasta is really good. For sure 5 stars

Had a co worker refer me to this place and I’m so glad he did! I really love that they’re open late all week long and the delivery is really fast too. now as far as the food go’s, it’s amazingly good! So good we ordered it two days in a row haha

Phenomenal customer service and amazing food. It is 3am on a Saturday night, me and my friends are starving and have been working all night long; the place is supposed to be closed. We called them, and fortunately they picked up. We expressed how delighted we were to have them answer us after hours. The manager was so polite that they decided to serve us our order for pick up. I can’t explain how grateful we are for their amazing customer service. And that is why I am waiting outside writing this review as we wait for our food.
We’re always greeted with love and care when we visit. The food is also always warm, fresh and melts in your mouth. I would recommend the Philly cheese steak and the Margarita pizza. One of the few places open after midnight that serves quality food and provides the best service. They have now won me and my friends as life time customers.

Salad was good. I ordered vodka pasta. Maybe they didn’t cook all of the alcohol out because I’m kind of buzzed now. It tasted bitter but I was starving so I ate it. I had to eat one penne noodle at a time because the vodka taste was so strong. Over all they delivered quickly and their menu was plentiful. The tiramisu was so good. The pasta really tasted like sh*t and ruined the whole meal. Don’t feed to kids because they’d probably get wasted from one bowl.

I am someone who is very health conscious. I exercise. I eat healthy. I meal prep and even weigh out by gram my macros to ensure adequate portions for my fitness goals. But I also have cheat meals, and when I have a cheat meal I want that fricken meal to COUNT. I have been on the hunt for a pizza place that can deliver me a mouthwatering, delicious pizza and not some mediocre version with barely there cheese and not so fresh ingredients. My quest for this, needless to say, has wasted many a cheat meals… Until now…
We ordered from Lucy’s today, Easter Sunday, because it happened to be open. Hallelujah! Maybe Jesus’ resurrection had something to do with this serendipitous miracle, or maybe not. All I know is this pizza was probably made by angels and delivered by cherubs or something because it was everything I had been looking for. It makes that cheat meal count until the last bite.

I am a very picky eater but I’d be remiss not to write a review after the meal we just ate. We had plans to go to a restaurant, but once we checked in and got comfortable, my husband and I decided to order in. The front desk suggested Lucy’s and I’m glad they did.
My husband and I ordered the lobster ravioli, a small Meat Lovers pizza, and buffalo wings. Everything about this meal was PHENOMENAL. The ravioli was cooked to al dente perfection and packed with sweet, moist lobster. The pizza… Dear heaven, the pizza was delicious. There was a perfect cheese-​sauce ratio and the sauce was light and flavorful. The crust was magnificent! The meat was layered so that every bite contained every topping. This was by far the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. Also, I love how perfectly crisp the wings were; the sauce was on the side which gives the option of eating them dry or wet. They were soooooo good. The skin wasn’t oily at all! The wings were moist and delicious.
The food is affordable and the helpings are substantial. Do yourself a favor, EAT HERE!

First time trying this place out. I had it delivered. Nick, who was so polite Over the phone helped me pick out some stuff on the menu for my cousin and I. Very delicious. Will definitely order again :)

So looking at the other reviews I was a bit skeptical on ordering online for a delivery but I was too lazy to go and pick it up so I gave it a shot. I put my order and it said it’ll take 40 minutes to deliver so I said screw it I really have no other choice but to wait now. 20 minutes later my food arrives.
My food came earlier than expected, hot, and amazingly delicious. I ordered a double cheeseburger with chili cheese fries and the chili cheese fries was just greatness. It tasted different from other places I’ve had cause they had some type of seasoning on the fries and that made it so good! The burger was big and it was something about the melted cheese that just made the burger 10 times better.
I’m only giving this place 4 stars because it is a little pricey. I usually get a good size of chili cheese fries at Troy’s for 4 bucks and their small is 4 bucks. Both places have amazing chili cheese fries so I’m not really complaining about much. Anyway, this place is probably a hit and miss with their delivery and they probably have «slow» days so they deliver faster. I would give it a second shot and just hope that it’s just as great as the first time.

You might be better off just putting on pants and going through Taco Bell.
It’s Friday night, I don’t feel like cooking, my friends are all working late… delivery it is. So I stumbled upon this establishment through the beloved food app Eat24. Inexpensive, easy, no pants required… done.
So I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, curly fries, and because my order didn’t meet the minimum for delivery, a garden salad too. I never had any intention of eating the salad (let’s be honest, its a Friday night in December and I’ve got nothing to do… I’m eating my feelings and NOT the lettuce, mmmkay) BUT good thing I ordered it because it was the only edible thing that was delivered to me. So with that being said, I’ll start my review:
1. The delivery guy didn’t even come to my door. He called me to tell me that he has been knocking. Ummm no sir, you are not at my door. So I have to go outside and look around for him… can’t find him anywhere. Already contemplating not tipping him based on this alone. Then I peer out the window… he is in his car. So I go out the back door and wave, he finally gets to my door and kind of shoves the food in my face like, «here you, here’s your food, ugh» like he was so inconvenienced that my apartment wasn’t so easily found by his pea brain.
2. The burger was cold. The bun was soggy. There were two measly strips of bacon. It was subpar at best. I ended up peeling the bun and veggies off and just eating the cheesy patty.
3. The curly fries were also cold and soggy. Weren’t worth the calories.
4. The salad was meh. It was plain — no pizazz. Green peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, boring boring boring. But like I said, I wasn’t planning on eating it anyway, so maybe the greek or the special salad with garbanzo beans are more appetizing.
All in all, I may have had a different experience AT the restaurant. Waiting 45 minutes for a burger and fries for them to be COLD and SOGGY is torturous and cruel. On the other hand, the food could have been amazing and I would still have been miffed about the delivery guy not coming to the door. Its like a guy you’re going out on a date with, who pulls into the driveway and honks for you to come out… no thanks. That’s an automatic no second date for you, sir. And the same goes for Lucy’s.

UPDATE: My review is changing from 4 stars to 5. The owner of this place takes accountability for any mistakes and will do whatever it takes to remedy the situation. He’s a kind man who’s trying to run a great food business as best as he can. He is there to ensure customer satisfaction in every way possible. I will definitely continue to support his restaurant. We can’t wait to try the burgers. Thank you, Raffi.
Pizza was good and management was good. Delivery and delivery driver not so good.
So our pizza was delivered with the toppings stuck to the top of the pizza box… We tried to salvage it but the cardboard was peeling off onto the pizza.
Fortunately, the owner was very nice about it. He is refunding our money for the messed up pizza and charging his driver– the driver who told him we were lying about our messed up pizza.
The rest of our food is really good, so we’ll definitely be ordering from Lucy’s again. The part of the pizza we were able to eat was good. The antipasto salad was delicious along with the wings and chili cheese fries. Perhaps we’ll order for Take Out next time.
