*** Pit stop review(Glendale) *** This is a decent place to pull over for a quick breakfast. It’s about half a mile from the 2 or 134 fwy. A little further away from the freeway then I normally like. There’s a decent number of open parking space to choose from. This particular location seems to be packed with locals in the morning. So seats look like they’re limited. Pretty normal and standard layout here. Nothing worth noting. Food = as expected Seating area = clean Service = average Restroom = dirty

Absolutely horrible service. This is 8pm not 8am. MOD standing around non chalantly while multiple customers piling up. People cutting people in line I seriously will never come to this McDonald’s again and if I do you can bet I’ll be calling that 1800 number on the back of the receipt and letting corporate know just how awful this location truly is. So disgusted with the service here it’s absolutely rodiculous

Someone wrote a review about this location saying it is a McDonald’s of last resort. I would agree. I have let it go, let it go, let it go on the occasions that I have visited this location but finally decided that after my visit this morning, I cannot let it go anymore. I have noticed that there are less and less customers going there and for good reason. On the three occasions that I went into the restaurant to order at the counter, it has taken over 20 minutes to get my order. I once wanted to order a simple softserve cone and it was an eternity … thank goodness I really had no where to go otherwise I would have just left. Using the drive thru is equally aggravating. The kitchen can’t handle the load as it is and a few years ago they added a double drive thru system where two lanes of cars can order and then they merge into one lane to pay and pick up. Well, you can just imagine! Now, the kitchen has double the orders coming in — which they can’t handle — and then the cars jockeying to get into line is another issue and finally, each and every time I have used the drive thru — not only is it SLOW — but I wait and wait at the speaker and then the car in the other lane pulls up to the second speaker and they immediately get service. Maybe it’s the color of my car … but I just don’t understand why I have to sit and sit and then the other lane always gets served before me even though I have been sitting there before the other car arrived. This happened this morning — again, I have let it go, let it go, let it go, but decided NOMORE! In my experience this morning, a female voice announced to me three different times that she will be with me shortly. As I saw the other drive thru lane open up and a car pull up I just knew what was going to happen — and I am not even that great of a psychic. Sure enough, as loud as can be, the second speaker blares out«How can I help you» and the driver happily places her order while I sit there steaming and steaming. This would not be that big of a deal were it not for the fact that this happens EVERYTIME I use the drive thru. I don’t eat there that often and years ago, I would say I ordered from there at least once a month. As I have tried to become more healthy, and also because I have found other places with better service, I have ceased to visit this location and now, it is rarely that I do go there … you know … as a last resort. And each time on my last resort attempt, I experience this drive thru ordering issue. Also, on two occasions, they have confused my order with someone else’s order and this is probably because they can’t keep track of two separate drive thru lanes. What genius came up with that system? Each time I drive past this location, I can’t help but take a peek at how many cars are backed up at the drive thru or, as is more frequent now, there are hardly any cars there any more. I think people have gotten and message and know that they can get better, faster, and more efficient service elsewhere. This location is open 24 hours and again, as a last resort, if you need to get something to eat at 2 a.m. you may have an easier time of it. But do not go during breakfast, lunch, or dinner hours. Unless you have hours to kill, enjoy having cars cutting in front of you in line, and it’s your last resort. I am a very patient person and seldom even feel the need to spread negative energy by spending MY time writing up a review, but honestly, this location is for the birds and really needs to realize that its operations are a joke. It is incompetence at its worse! I even had the experience of the lady at the window one morning trying to sell me her personal coffee maker(this was a few years back). What? What the heck is that? Best wishes on maintaining a strong customer base because you are going to need it. After the final straw this morning, I would be the fool to go there again. Never more. I prefer the Burger Kind at Colorado and Chevy Chase if I need to get a quick meal on the run — they are always efficient, friendly, the food is fresh, and they ONLYHAVEONEDRIVETHRUWINDOW for God’s sake!

Only takes cash, ice cream machine works 10% of the time. and when they offer breakfast they only have half the menu items available. The worst.

This place was a bit slow. Even with two terminals at the drive thru. One person had to go back and forth as cars were lined up to place their order. I can’t imagine how bad it can be at lunch rush hour. Food is consistent and the value is ok.

Easily the slowest drive through service ever. I normally try to give people the benefit of the doubt but after going through the drive through multiple times and every time it being at least 5 mins a customer I have to give this review. You’ve been warned

For reference, I’m a white person who lives in Malibu. Legitimately coherent staff. If I got bum fingered so hard that my dignity went down the drain and I was reduced to having a McDonald’s job, I’d definitely want to work at this one. Got my order perfect. Fries were bomb af. Double drive through. Fast. Thank you to the beautiful Mexican people of McDonald’s.

Damn lazy workers! If you ask to confirm if everything is in the bag, They will look you in the eye and say«yes, everything is all there». But as soon as you get home, something is missing. Lazy asses!

I don’t understand all the bad reviews. I see a lot of them are about the breakfast rush or drive-thru service. That’s a hectic situation for any business. I’ve eaten here a number of times as there is a motorcycle shop closeby and I usually just order a meal and wait while my ride gets serviced for a few hours.(They have free wi-fi.) The service has always been great. It’s a McDonalds and its Fast Food, so I don’t expect a red carpet to be rolled out, however, the employees here have been very professional and kind. Many times I’m surprised at the extra effort they put in. If you dine-in you see they are constantly cleaning the place making sure the upkeep is in top shape. Also they go the extra mile, a couple times they’ve brought my food to the table when I didn’t hear them call my order number. And I’ve seen them go out of their way to open the door for the elderly or those that need it. I never feel rushed or pestered when ordering or dining, and I’ve also seen employees and managers stop and talk to the regulars when passing by their table, to see if the meal is alright and that they’re satisfied. I guess there is always 2 sides to the story.

This morning, on the go, i stopped for breakfast. I usually do not write reviews but this has to be known. After ordering a number 4 i had the worst food poisoning EVER… Cold sweats, weak knees, vomitting, diarrhea every 30 mins. I literally felt like I was going to die. Never ever again!

Zero. Ants in the cheeseburger tonight. Two dead, one alive. And that’s only what I realized after I ate it in the wrapper. Don’t go here. Incompetence and disgusting food. Fair warning.

Came to this location after finding out that the Eagle Rock location is still only taking cash. This franchise is equally annoying with its super slow cashiers and long lines that tend to stay long due to the horrible employees. After ordering my food for the second time because apparently the ladies at the window didn’t understand me, I found myself getting another surprise at home. They apparently forgot to put in one of my sausage mcmuffins and both of my hash browns. Thanks a lot McDonald’s I try to get breakfast and instead I get crappy service ! WOULDNOTRECOMMENDTHESELOCATIONSTOANYONE !!! The Brand McDonalds is worth the drive !! McDonalds needs to get there franchisees on check because all I’ve gotten lately is a load of crap !!

Yet another review for the bad attitude from the employees. This is the closest McDs to me. I’ve been here maybe a few dozen times. My order is wrong 75% of the time. The employees don’t say thank you or you’re welcome 99% of the time. Today’s issue: Ordered 2 daily double with pounder bun. We had to repeat the order FOUR times. we got some serious stank eye and attitude. She shoved the bag toward us and said nothing. This place needs to find some new management that refuses to let the employees treat the customers poorly. I guess I’ll spend my money elsewhere. Plus the place is always dirty, like really dirty No big loss!

Is it really that hard to put together a snack wrap? Is there something I’m missing as to the process it takes to wrap chicken, lettuce, cheese and some sauce in a tortilla? There must be because mine wasn’t folded all the way. Cheese and lettuces were bursting out of the top, the middle had a glob of ranch and the the bottom was dry chicken. I don’t expect much from this McD’s whenever we come here but they constantly surprise me with their screw ups. P.s. No pickle means NO pickle! My son is allergic and I know to always check even if there is a no pickle ticket on the burger because they still always put them on.

Every time we end up at this location, it amazes me as to what issue will come up. Tonight is no exception. We specified«NOPICKLE,» as our son has a melon allergy, and cucmbers trigger rashes and hives with him.(Of course there was pickle on the burger). When we received our food, I asked the server(drive-thru) if there was ice in my drink. He looked befuddled at the automatic drink machine and stood there.(There was an ice dispensing issue.) He looked at the manager and said«um…I don’t know how to put ice in the drink.» Re-read that last sentence. After his internal debate, I finally got ice in my drink. We get home, which is 3 blocks away and — fries are cold! Of course they are. Pickle on the burger. Oh, and two bottom buns on that burger too. That’s a presentation issue. Gogurt specified, it was included as were apple slices. That’s a cost issue. Quality control is out the window here. This location needs a corporate assist to get them back on track with correct brand representation. Send Undercover Boss in or something. Pictures to prove as well.

James was very attentive and helpful to customers. Yolanda the manager was different. She lacks customer service skills. I must say the restaurant was not being maintained properly in terms of neatness. It smelled funny in there. Not a very inviting place to eat in. While I was writing this comment, a customer was complaining with the manager for lying about the pot of coffee being fresh. Claimed pot was fresh but it was obviously been there for a while. I write this reviews in the hopes that they better the store and not to get people in big trouble.
