Do not be fooled! This place is a total rip off! Heads up to the manager if you have a billion little charges to add on there and there put a couple of signs on the door. Dont tell your customers that you need to buy a food item or they cant come back next time… like seriously wth! Customer Service Etiquette take a class on it!

lol this place is a joke. The money you pay for is not what you receive terms of service, hospitality and etiquette. The service charge depends on the amount of your party has and in the end you will be sorry. The manager/​owner asked our party of 10 to write good reviews on Unilocal,ha yeah right. We tried to bring in a cake for our friend as we celebrated their birthday there and he told us we either buy cake at his café or service charge of $ 25 for bringing our own. This place is bum.
I give it one star because I recommend you to go to the café if you want some place to ruin your day.

Great place to hangout with friends! Delicious drinks and I love the Fatoush salad. Jalapeño poppers with spicy tuna is delicious

Worst café I have been to. My friend and I went there on Friday to meet and have tea. The owner approaches us to tell us that there is a $ 10 cover charge for being guests at his coffee shop. No wonder the place was empty. I have been to numerous coffee shops and never been charged a cover charge. Thats for night-​clubs! You may want to convert your place to a night-​club. We got charged $ 20 for 2 mint teas. No concept of customer service. From now on, it is Starbucks.

Every time I go to this place it’s something new I love it I love the atmosphere I love the food I love the hookah I love the service that they offer which is one-​of-​a-​kind there so caring and polite and their foodohhhhh my God every single food they have on the menu is One of a kind the presentation of the food is phenomenal and they always try to make sure if their clients are satisfied with their orders and the service I am very pleased to be part of this community and to have a hookah lounge like this this is not your ordinary hookah lounge this is something that you can experiment different type of food and professionalism thanks for creating this phenomenal idea of opening of something amazing like this in Glendale I am truly happy that we have somewhere now to handout enjoy the night and be for filled with much exotic food and amazing thank you I will definitely stop by next time I’m in town

Noisy terrace.
The waitress has never worked in this job before very unprofessional service.
She put your wine bottle on the table without service. The food is apparently good but the taste is terrible. No fork and knife for my wife, with a dish front of she is very unusual.
And for the best, 18% for the service is the minimum for two on the check, pre debited.
Never ever.

Worst Place ever!
I called for a reservation on Saturday night for 10 people. Owner talked in every good manner on the phone, and based on pictures on Facebook, I thought it would be the best place for BIRTHDAY. So AS THE OWNER RECOMMENDATION, I reserve the PRIVATE ROOM.
Saturday night as we arrived,
1. No one welcomed us
2. Waiting for 15mins to just ask about about our reservation
3. ROOM WAS NOT PRIVATE !! It was a Sushi room right nest to the kitchen and bathroom! so every single one walked into the room.
4. NO MUSIC
5. Worst Service,
6. THEY DO NOT HAVE TAB WATER, JUST BOTTLE OF WATER !!!
6. My friend order Pizza, He said we cannot take this order because our oven is broken!
7. I asked my Burger in lettuce-​rap, he said I only can bring it Whiteout BUNS !
8. We Order Dessert, and the Dirty Dishes was still in front of us from dinner !
9. As it is mentioned in the website, they close at 2am on Saturday Night. BUT after 1am, servers came to us and noticed that «We are about to close»
10. SERVICE CHARGE IS 20 PERCENTS AND MANDATORY!!! ALSO ASKED FOR THE TIP !!!

The moment I walked into this place I was excited because of the good reviews I read on Unilocal.We got seated and were ready to order. It took 30mins for someone to come and take our order which me and my friend weren’t happy about. We finally ordered and they forgot our detox water :(
We had ordered two of the detox water in goblet and I guess the waiter just heard us say «water» so they brought us regular water instead… Very disappointing. BUT we ordered it a second time and it was worth it because of how beautiful and cute it looked :)
They gave us an individual heater to keep us warm, which was nice.
We both ordered the crispy chicken salad and we thought it was AMAZING.
The garlic fries were great as well!
Food is good. Hookah is good. The service, we weren’t too happy about.
I was debating on giving them a rating of 3 stars because of the service. But the food was so good that I let it slide. Maybe that man was having a bad night. Shoutout to the coals guy for being extremely kind!
Bottom line of the night:

The fire pits and headers and string lights are a beauty’s but the total price was a joke.

Plus a mandatory $ 8 of food or drink, per person

I had rated this place at 5 stars and thought I had found THE spot in Glendale. After visiting this Café and Lounge a few times, I have gotten more and disappointed each time. What bothers me the most (and the group I had gone with last time) is the service charge. You are a café and lounge that provide a service that are getting paid for anyways and your servers are getting a tip as well. After asking for an explanation, the owner very pleasantly and extremely informed of his rights broke it down to us. I get it he is informed and he wants to do business that way, so I will not be going to this place again or recommend it to anybody. The food is good but not something I can’t get somewhere else without the extra added charge. Hookah flavor did not taste the flavor we ordered (not the first time this happens).
Not worth my time and money.

I live about 2 blocks away from LEON and im so glad we came here with friends. its walking distance from my house and the atmosphere is wonderful, the hookah is spot on all the time, and the FOOD!!! THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!! Ive tried the chicken chipotle sliders, fettuccine Alfredo, tuna tartar, almost every appetizer that is, and last but not least the Dessert at this place is amazing! the Crêpe and molten cake are my favorite but the smores and fruits aren’t bad either. in other words this place is my new favorite hookah spot. its a nice change to the same old hookah lounge foods, everything is more restaurant quality and is plated beautifully. overall wonderful place I will definitely be back.

Today was my first time here. I actually didn’t know this café existed until today. It’s in a pretty residential area near the college. The set up and décor are really nice and it’s very easy to feel relaxed here.
We ordered the red gummy bear hookah once we arrived and it was really nice. We also ordered the «fancy brownie» to share and it was SO good. It was 2 slices of brownies topped with fruit with a large scoop of ice cream on the side. Definitely recommend. I also kept an eye out on the food the tables around us ordered and everything looked so yummy! I need to come back and try the rest of their menu.
Ok, so what I wasn’t very impressed with — When we arrived the host seated us at a table that was squished right in between two other tables, there really wasn’t much space to move around. We asked to be seated at a table with more room but the host said those tables are saved for groups with 4 people. So we chose another two seater with a bit more room. Fast forward about 10 minutes and two people get seated at that same exact table which we asked for. Very strange. I also wasn’t very impressed with the service. After our waiter brought us our hookah we didn’t see him for quite some time. We finally hailed him down to order our brownie and waited another 15 – 20 minutes for it to arrive. We finally asked another waitress about our order and she came back to tell us she reminded our waiter. I also asked him for the wifi password and he said he would bring it to me but that never showed up. I think the staff should work on being more attentive to the customers… especially since gratuity is already included in the bill.
I think this place is a bit new so there are definitely some things they can work on. Other than the service I was very satisfied with my time here and I would like to come back and try more of their food!

This is an unfortunate review because they actually know how to make a good hookah and the have good food overall. I can definitely understand markups but I’ve never seen a place try to cheat their customers they way this restaurant has. They cannot argue a service fee of 18% (not a gratuity fee). They expect a gratuity on top of the service fee. Typical gratuity is 20% percent… So what they are trying to say is that after the price of your meal and hookah, you are expected to add an additional 35 to 40% of your meal total toward the restaurant… This is unbelievable and I hope nobody falls for it.
Raise the price of your food or hookah to cover your other expenses, that’s how you do it. And if it is still worth it, your patrons will continue to visit you.
I hope the restaurant management reads this and takes it in to consideration, because they do have good food and good hookahs, but they shouldn’t take advantage of customers.

It’s a different vibe!
The food is amazing. It’s presented In a tasteful way, as it should be with the great menu options that Leon’s has to offer.
However, the dessert menu is the best part.
It’s executed by a pastry chef that knows what he’s doing. Trust me. I have tried most of the items on the menu and it is amazing.
The difference with this place is the setup of the patio, the ambience is cozy and you can be very comfortable taking your date there.

Before I get into this review, I would like to point out that the one star review I’m giving this place is pretty generous after the crap this restaurant pulled. If I can, I would rate it a ZERO!
My girlfriend and I decided to try this place out after word of mouth from a few friends telling me it had pretty good food and that they had turned it into a hookah lounge as well, and I love me some hookah!
Anyway, as we walked up, it was a very nice location, and we were even greeted by the hostess in a positive manner, which was refreshing. We felt it would be pretty great from there, until it went downhill 5 minutes later.
The hostess asked us to write our names down so when there was a table available they would let us know. Mind you there was no one ahead of us at this point waiting to be seated, remember this.
I point out to the hostess that there are 5 open tables, and she informed us that those were 4 person tables and since it was a Friday night, bigger parties would arrive, so we understood and said we would wait, no big deal.
She placed us at a table inside the sushi restaurant, which was closed, away from everyone and the AC blasting right on top of us, like it was a blizzard. I told her that it was too cold for my girlfriend in there, we would rather wait outside. She said and I quote, «I’m sorry we can’t have anyone waiting to be seated outside as our waitresses and waiters walk back and forth to tables and you may get in the way.»
So we sat inside waiting for a table to open up. I went to use the restroom and told my girlfriend what to order as far as hookah and drinks. No one came for the order, no one acknowledged her, the hostess never checked as to how we were doing, nothing. Now I’m a patient individual but at this point it was starting to become annoying and unprofessional.
And this is what drove me over the edge. We witness the hostess take TWO individuals to a FOUR person table when WE weren’t given that luxury to begin with. I don’t care who this two people are, what connection they have with the owner, green is green and I’m here before them so u better damn well give me a table before them!
At that point, with all the crappy service provided, we walked out. No order, no food, no hookah.
Lastly, this place has a ridiculous $ 8.00 per person minimum charge if you only order hookah and no food, then they charge a 20% gratuity fee on you check AND THEN they even ask for more tip on top! Are you kidding me?
Whoever the owner or manager is of this location, I hope you read this carefully because you need to get your employees in order and treat your potential new customers with respect! I didn’t even get a chance to have your food or hookah because your employees have no consideration or common sense for customers.
Good luck, your going to need it!

Since I’m living the GCC life I’ve decided it’s way convenient to just start going to Leon’s because it’s near the campus and service is great.
The workers here are super nice always checking up on the customers.
Shoutout to Roman for aways keeping the place entertaining

Their food is amazing here as well, I always steer to the feta cheese fries because it’s a great way to make your mouth water also who doesn’t love carbs on carbs on carbs
Sucks how they’re only open after 6pm, like living the GCC life style and having 2 hrs in between classes I would love to go here and relax with some hookah and my french fries.
Note: just because they’re closed during the day doesn’t mean you could go to the lounge on Colorodo and get shitty service all because you wanted some hookah.
Save your money with disappointment and come to Leon’s for some excitement and good service!

Ive given this place a few chances because the location is convenient but i will never be back nor recommend anyone to come here.
The service is always terrible, they have attitude and take forever for the hookah and food. Everytime the servers act like they hate their job.
Ive waited over 45 min for one burger when it wasn’t busy that night.
One incident that set me over the edge is we went with a group of 5 people, we ordered hookah and each of us ordered food. I asked for ketchup. They then charged me .75 cents for each ketchup each of us got.
My complaint isnt about the money but what establishment would charge 3 $ extra on a 100 $ bill for extra ketchup. Its ridiculous.
Then the owner who seems lost at running a business brings you a ipad to sign for the check and holds it in front of you and the group to sign and enter the tip awkwardly waiting for the tip.

When my bff suggested we get hookah because my bf was coming to hang out with us, I was hesitant because I’m not a hookah smoker (ok… maybe once, but I got a headache from it so I never did it again). I said ok because it was a chance for my bf, my bff, and I to catch up and I also wanted to eat so my bff gave me a short list of hookah/​restaurants nearby. I chose Leon Café based on the Unilocal reviews… Unilocalers! You did not steer me wrong!
I was almost confused at first because upon the last quarter of a mile driving here, there was nothing but houses. Then there it was. It looked fancy and my bf and I were really dressed down, but not to worry! We still got the same great service regardless of what we wore!

You can park on the street, there’s plenty of parking (FREE PARKING) out there. There are only a few parking spots for this place in the back.
This place pretty much consists of patio seating. They have heat lamps, blankets, and fire pits. If all else fails… hey… you have the coals from the hookah to keep you warm. You write your name down and wait to be seated. It was pretty empty when we came on a Thursday night so we were seated right away and greeted by our waitress.
I think I was having an off night because everything I tried to order, they didn’t have. No mango lemonade, no antipasta platter, no mediterranean platter… wtf? But it’s ok, the other things I ordered pretty much made up for what they didn’t have.
I had a peach something lemonade instead of the mango, prosciutto caprese, a Leon special salad, and the bbq chicken pizza… obviously these were all ordered to share by my bf and my bff. I was delightfully surprised by the bbq chicken pizza. Everything it had going on – the crust, the flavors, the texture, the crunch, were on point.
And for hookah, my bf and bff ordered grape mint and melon mint. I can’t say how good these flavors were, but they attest that they were pretty tasty.
To top it all off, this place has probably the best service I’ve had in a very long time! Our waitress was really attentive and nice and even gave suggestions after she broke the bad news about the menu items they no longer carried. The busboys, the guy that delivered our hookah, the hookah «sommelier», and another waitress were also very nice and attentive and made sure we had our water refilled. They came to check up on us enough… not too much, not too little. Just like baby bear… everything was juuuust right!
I would definitely come to this place again! Maybe I’ll even hookah… hmmm probably not, but I’ll come back to eat good food!

This is a cute café/​hookah place in Glendale. I love their outside patio area. There was a fire pit, which kept us warm on a chili night. They also have blankets, too. I was digging the vibe and ambiance of this place. Our server, Erica was super sweet and attentive. She constantly checked up on us. We ordered the chicken pizza and chicken pesto sliders. The chicken pizza was delicious. It was spicy, but there was a burst of flavor in every bite. The sliders were also delicious. The chicken was juicy and flavorful with the pesto sauce. They had a good variety of food on their menu. They were also good about changing the coals out on the hookah, so it wasn’t harsh.
I definitely want to come back to try other things on their menu.
