I was asking a few questions to the guy at the counter when his overzealous manager kept rushing him along, telling him not to talk to me. What do you mean NOTTALKTOME? I am the customer asking questions about your product. Chill out guy. Just because your parents own the place or whatever doesn’t make you better than anybody else. I finally get this double cheeseburger(which wasn’t on the menu) and the beef tastes like lamb. C’mon guys! I was hoping your food quality would make up for your poor customer service. Instead you get 1 star. I wish I could give you half a star instead.

I was hungry for fish and chips and this was the only place that delivered in my area. Placed my order online and it had a scheduled delivery time of 3:54PM but my food didn’t arrive until 4:25. GRRR. Not a good way to start. To make matters worse, the food was only room temperature(not even warm). Plus, the fish wasn’t actually fried fish– it was large fish sticks! Yuck! I had ordered sparkling water, but they crossed the word«sparkling» off my receipt and gave me a regular water instead. I want to be clear that I have NO problem with substitutions and running late. It happens, but CALLME! Let me know what’s up. I would never pay the extra $ 2 for a regular bottle of water, since I have three cases of it at home! I just hate restaurants with crappy service and bad communication. I ordered from GrubHub(thank goodness!) and they refunded me half my order. Thanks, Grubhub.

This small Greek place, directly across from Glendale College has saved my figure thanks to their delicious chicken breast kabobs and salad. Why is it so difficult to find grilled chicken breast? I’m a bit particular on this subject; no gristle, no fat, no skin, no dark meat, no bone for me please. Savon and Zankou’s just don’t do it for me.
One kabob with 5 large chicken cubes is about $ 4 a la carte, or $ 8.25 as a plate with your choice of fries, rice and shirazi, as well as a Greek salad, and pita. $ 10.99 is their most expensive item, the Greek Combo Plate.
Additional items on the menu include Gyro’s, dolmade’s(vegetarian), lamb, lule kabob, falafel, hot wings, calamari, burgers, hot dogs, chili cheese dogs, nachos, quesadillas, etc. I have yet to explore any offerings aside from my beloved chicken kabobs, but the crispy chicken salad sounds appetizing.
It’s somewhere in the middle of being fast food, and sit down. They cook as the orders come, so don’t expect to be in and out if you’re in a hurry, especially at peak hours. There are about 16 seats(4 tables) inside and it’s VERY casual. Adjacent to a Coffee Bean, nail salon, and Quizno’s.
Only thing is, they’re only open from 10−9pm on Saturday(they were already closed at 7pm last night) and closed on Sundays which bums me out. They also offer free delivery within a 3 miles radius, and a $ 20 minimum order. P. S. I’ve tried going to their website, which they advertise on their flier but can’t find it.
