Most places in Montrose wax, and the few that thread charge more than necessary. Here, the price a nice compromise. Understanding that Montrose is a small town and that prices are higher than the larger cities, Cosmo Nails charges about $ 12 to have your eyebrows threaded.
The ambiance is relaxing and the customer service is superb. I came in to have my eyebrows shaped and left feeling rejuvenated.

The best salon in town! You can walk in any time or make an appointment. They do not bump people like other salons proficient if you are on a tight schedule. Affordable and well kept! I highly recommend this salon.

My foot doctor recommended Cosmos for my pedicures. I was very pleased! Ivy is my girl and she is very thorough and gentle. The shop is very pleasant and the owners are very nice. I didn’t realize they are a full service shoppe. Message, manicure, pedicure, facial etc. I am going to try their message next.

Slightly disappointed. I came here with a last minute appointment. There were four ladies ahead of me. I’m not sure if they had an appointment or not. But after 20 – 25 mins of waiting, I left. «Ain’t nobody got time for that!»
I would’ve much rathered the nail tech saying that he was out of appointments for the day.

I’ve been coming here for almost a year and Kim does the most efficient painless job at waxing. Highly recommend Kim!

Been to going to this place for awhile now and iv only had one bad experience. The nail tech I had was sick and kept coughing and not covering her mouth as she was giving me a pedicure. I was pretty disgusted but didn’t saying anything. After the third time without covering her mouth I was about to go off. I felt the air hit my legs everytime she let out a big one. Gross. Her nose was runny and she kept wiping it on her sleeve as she continued working. Why was this girl working!!! She seemed not happy at all to be there and totally half assed my pedi. She cut my nails at an angle. I was so disappointed. She didn’t say a word to me the entire time. Not even a smile. Nothing. Didn’t catch a name. Other than that I love this place. It’s cheap and everyone is nice and very good!

Going here was the worst experience I had ever had. The man doing my nails was rude and temperamental. He put on my acrylics and they were bulky and sloppy– and when I asked him to make them thinner, he said okay– then changed absolutely nothing. When it came time for the polish I asked him to do a (simple) half-​moon design, to which he replied «too hard» and then painted them solid red.
To top things off, they had a promotion going on at the time– so when I showed him the coupon on Unilocal,he told me that it was ‘probably old’ (it wasn’t) and didn’t give the the discount.
There are so many better nail salons in Montrose, don’t waste your time going to this one.

They always do a great job and are friendly and clean. Love this place. All the women do a great job. The other lady complaining about waiting is silly. I’ve never been to a nail shop where people do not have to wait at all.

I was in the area, desperately in need of a manicure, and decided to check this place out with a friend. First impressions when walking in: nice, bubbly, and clean. We were greeted with welcoming words. There were no customers at the time, which was understandable considering it was an early afternoon on a Wednesday. One thing I didn’t like was that there was no price/​service menu to be found, but I still wanted to give this place a try. I was seated with Kim, who did an amazing and thorough job on my nails. She was nice and talkative, and she did my nails exactly the way I wanted. I paid $ 13, plus tip, for my manicure, which is a little much compared to $ 10 at my regular spots (same quality work). Regardless, it was worth it. If you’re in the area, I suggest you check this place out and ask for Kim if she’s available! They’re a fairly new business, too!

So me and my daughter walked-​in today. We were sat for a spa manicure and pedicure. But as soon as two Caucasian ladies came in, the man (owner/​manager?) instructed the employees to service the two ladies who just came in. Although the man started working on my daughter’s nails, I am left waiting forever! When I complained, he said the 2 ladies have appointments. What?! How come he didn’t tell me that before we were sat? They take preference here and no doubt I felt discriminated. My feet are now pruny and the water is cold. I’m never coming back here after this. We were here first, we are to be serviced first. And if there are appointments, manager/​owner should have told us that there will be a wait, that way we could have made a better decision how to plan our day. Bad customer service.

I moved to this area recently in January and have been coming here ever since. Very friendly staff and clean salon. The girls do a great job on my pedicure every single time and john does my acrylic. Love the way they come out all the time as well. I have no complaints. Found my new nail salon that’s so close to home! :)

I was there once and I’m def coming back! The girls took their time and gave me full attention. Sometimes in this places you feel like all they want is get you out of the door but they were so thorough I was highly satisfied!

After going to many nail salons and being disappointed in their service, I came across this fine place after leaving Buff and Tweeze on foothill because they didn’t accept walk ins. This place saved me that day because i needed my nails done that night and I came in as soon as they were about to close and they still took me in. I am so happy with this place. It is so convenient and only two blocks away from home. I love how John works on my nails to perfection. I always ask for him. Ive been coming here for 4 months now and im always satisfied. Very calm and friendly enviornment. Thank you guys!
