Really loved working with Brad. He brought some great ideas to the table on how we could improve the concept for our kitchen rehab.
We have a 118 year old row house in a historic neighborhood in Chicago, so we ran into more than our share of problems and surprises, but Brad and his crew were able to deal with them all.
All-​in-​all things finished pretty close to the deadline despite it being a completed in the middle of the polar vortex. He was very flexible as we had a few odd requests.
I will say that going into the negotiations of what your expectations and needs are for the project, you should ask lots of questions, even if you think you know quite a bit about home improvement. We had a couple of instances where we thought certain things were included in the original quote, but they weren’t. An example of that would be; we were getting new hardwood floors, but our sub flooring needed to be replaced & there needed to be leveling done on some slanted floor joists.
Basically, inquire a lot about what surprises he thinks you might run into and work on getting that priced out before hand. I’ve yet to have a repair job on an old house that didn’t go over the original cost because of necessary repairs found during the job.
Overall if I ever have a big job like completely redoing a kitchen I would call him back and surely recommend him to my friends.

We did a gut rehab and we were referred to Chicago Renovation by a friend who has used them several times over the last 10 – 15 years. We had a wonderful experience as the crews showed up every day and they were extremely professional and did quality work. The owner is very direct and lets you know what is going on whether you like it or not and resolves problems quickly. In spite of running into some major unforeseen issues, they were still able to complete the major renovation of our entire house without a major delay. This was our first experience, but we will use them again in the future.
