The service was nice. There was nothing particularly special. I will say that the medium is quite large… so be prepared for a lot of smoothie. I’m sure I’ll go back just to try different flavors. At least now I know to order a small.

My go-to for smoothies! Consistently good! Even their low-fat options. The staff is always friendly and courteous. They also allow coupons on your phone which ia a bonus!!! The strawberry slim n trim smoothie is awesome with peanut butter. Make sure to collect points for your purchases with the app.

Stopped in for the fist time today and man was I pleasantly surprised! I had no idea Smoothie King was so focused on nutrition, wellness and fitness! And as a vegetarian looking for high protein options, I was able to get a meal replacement smoothie that was high in protein, low in carb and the added nutrition of kale. So happy to have had a great smoothie. Thanks!

Tried a new smoothie yesterday… I think I found a new flavor that Im in love with… Passion passport… This thing was one of the best smoothies Ive had with strawberries and passion fruit in it… I made the mistake of buying a medium thinking it would be a regular size… Not the case, it was huge. And cost $ 6.50… But truthfully. It was worth every penny… And i wasnt even mad at the size once I tasted it… In fact I wish I had one right NOW … Lol…

Great selection of flavors and very refreshing! I’m still learning the menu but they seem to have all the bases covered. It’s a very refreshing stop on a hot day. They’re a little pricey but they have a frequent buyer program to earn free smoothies. Gotta love that!

The tag line that I read on the Smoothie King sign stuck in the grass as I turned into the plaza boasted, «The healthier alternative to fast food». Perhaps that should make me feel good about ordering a smoothie for breakfast, but it made me start to think. Healthier? It doesn’t take much to be healthier than fast food. Chocolate is probably healthier than fast food, so am I better off eating chocolate than an egg Mc Muffin? I’d like to believe the blueberries, bananas, strawberries and protein powder that is dumped into the blender will boost my antioxidants, fulfill my daily minimum serving of fruits, and kick start my day the healthy way, but watching the smoothie girl pump a few shots of an unknown liquid into the blender leaves me wondering… just how healthy is this smoothie? Am I really sucking down gulpfuls of some sugary substance, designed to enhance the smoothie taste? What is really in those pump bottles? Do Starbucks tall mocha’s contain fewer calories than the 325 calories with 64 grams of sugar in the Blueberry Heaven? Hmmm. I have some research to do before I round the corner into Smoothie King next time I stay at the Courtyard on West Broad St. near Short Pump.
