Came in after a long drive from Disneyland. I like this chain, but this particular location sucks IMO. Ordered two large noodle plates and when they came out they looked like small/regular sized ones. The food covered 80% of the plate. Seems like they charged me extra for ordering large but left the portions the same. Food was terrible. Chow fun had a bunch of dark soy sauce in it and hardly any veggies. Pad thai tasted like they used a packet of powder from Lucky’s. Service was equally terrible. We walked in, asked us how many, handed us menus and told us which table to go sit at by pointing and muttering the table number. When the waiter came by to take our order he didn’t have a pen/paper and decided to memorize our order. After finishing our meal I went to go pay and the total was 22.71. Paid 30 and the lady at the register gave me back 7.25 instead of 7.29. Well that was the last straw. They withheld 0.04 but at this point I was furious and didn’t want to ask for 0.04 so I walked out without leaving a tip. They didn’t deserve one anyway.

The food here is great. That is the only reason my family and I keep coming back. But the service gets this location a one star! Some employees are nice but others are rude, mean and disinterested in the place. We once found a hair in our egg rolls! No big deal as we go for the noodles and rice plates. But some of the employees are really hostile and give off a negative vibe. As soon as there is a tssty alternative to this place, I will be taking my business somewhere else! Must be nice not to have any competition!

Service is terrible as other Unilocalers have stated. I went in to order some bowls of noodles togo and right off the bat the cashier who took our order gave us attitude when I asked her if she took Amex/Discover. She replied with just a «no». I had to prompt her and ask then which cards and she just replied visa although there was a sticker in the back with a mastercard logo. When we got our order, there was no utensils, napkins, lemon/bean sprouts, sauce packets at all. Perhaps I should have checked the bag but when a restaurant skimps on these basic items for a noodle shop and gives me attitude about credit card types, I’m feeling they are nickel and diming me. The food was average and probably the least authentic of the chain of the 3 in the Bay Area. The yellow noodles used were the thicker variety than the one used at other locations. Avoid this place if you can…

Soups are always good and fast to come out. Which is great for us cuz we always come here on lunch and still have time to run errands after. We like a lot of lemon and the crunchy stuff they put in the soups, so we always ask for extra and they are always very accommodating.

Service is terrible here… Don’t know what happened to this place but it’s not a place I will be coming to again. 1) Egg rolls had a hair in them 2) took forever to get food 3) had to get up to get our our drinks that waited on the counter for ten minutes … 4) to go containers that they brought us were dirty… Like used already … If you want to come here be prepared for a wait and a hair!

#21 is good! And if it wasn’t for my husband I wouldn’t go to this place. Number 21 is usually what we order for to go for our family of 3. it’s pretty good but waaaaaay over priced. $ 7.50 for small order and I usually get 2 orders comes total of $ 22 freaking dollars. Lol go figure! I tried to make them explained to me about it, but oh well I couldn’t get an answer and more couldn’t understand what they’re saying. So f it! Really, I try not to come here! Service…yay!

I would never eat here again. The Pad Thai was mostly sprouts an I had to look for noodles.

Food was pretty bland. I had the chow me in with chicken. It was mostly Ramen style noodles with cabbage. Paid 1.10 for a can of soda. I thought the vending machine at work was a ripoff. The guy working there was watching over the dining room like a hawk, not helping people, just watching. Overall, nothing exciting here. Wasn’t horrible, just not good…

Located near the Target shopping center with good parking areas. Food comes fast. Service is, meh. Cleanliness is, meh. Good for a quick noodle/soup fix. Taste is consistent from all the other times. Pet peeve: when the server has his thumb semi halfway in your bowl but not touching the food as he hands you your meal.

Okay so i always come here. If I don’t know what I want; TK is what we always land on. Whether it be my friends or my family lol Since I first moved to gilroy, 10 years ago, I’ve been in love with this restaurant. I more the often order the pad Thai and fried rice and I’ll usually get a plate with different noodles and shrimp. My boyfriend actually just introduced me to phở when we first started dating at the beginning of this year so now I get the won ton combination soup. Everything is delicious and freshly cooked. As far as the service, they are friendly but at time it may seem like they have attitude. You’re there to grub, they know it and you know it. Plus other cultures have a different way of interacting with people. It’s never been a problem for me but I mention it because it’s something that I know people will comment on. Regardless, this place is one of my faves and the employees know me as a regular.

Although this is not fine dining, if you are going because you are jonseing for a «phở» type of noodle soup then you have come to the right place. The service is not typical, nor is the atmosphere or cleanliness(not that the place was dirty). However the food was really good. The broth in our soups was delicious. The Egg Noodle with vegetables and tofu was good. A customer helped me order the Won Ton soup with added noodles. Was tasty! I would go again.

Had a good experience with this store before but tonight is different. Had a sour Mhi Boh Kho(beef stew noodle) and old lady ignored me. Hey Lady!!! This is not my first Mhi boh kho noodle soup… we ended up driving to phở hoa an Noodle was undercooked and hard. Soup was sour and she explained to me that sometimes they put more ketchup… huh??? left this sorry restaurant and waked away. Duck curry vermicelli was cold. Both duck and soup. Its not our fault that had a faulty ordering system and rush our order and failed on the quality.

If there is a 0 star i would give it to this place! Service is so poor when you ask for something they would just ignore you like they didn’t see you. You have to actually stand up and approach them for your concerns. They messed up our order at first and then gave us uncooked egg noodles… yes i am very hungry and this was a bad idea to come here!

Disgusting. Rude service that doesn’t give a shit. Not even two minutes after we sit down a guy comes up and asks what we want. Normally that would be a good thin but when we told him we needed a minute he gave off the impression that we were burdening him because he would have to come back. The water we asked for never came out so I got up myself and when and poured my own waters from the front. I told the lady they forgot and I would just do it myself cause he guy forgot. She said ok great help yourself and went back to what she was doing. The soups came out and the shrimps were disgusting. They all had excessive amounts of literal shit in them. I brought this up to the lady at the front and she says that cause it’s fresh. I said if that’s the case would you eat it? She said oh yea I do it all the time. I said that’s great but I have never seen shrimp so dirty and gross. She began to laugh it off because I was unintentionally making a scene I guess. She said she gets them fresh and pulls the legs and head off herself. I asked if that was the case why doesn’t she take an extra two seconds to make sure there isn’t poop and she just said I don’t know. I asked if she would pay for a meal of that quality and she said ok ok I’ll give you five dollars off. Worst place. Shitty food. Shitty service. Shitty shit filled shrimp. The health department should really check this dirty shithole of a place down.

You come here for a quick meal, not for the service or even necessarily not for good home style food. You won’t get any of that here. You order and your meal comes with 5 minutes usually, if everything goes well. It quick soup, you can easily make yourself at home. They have muliple locations around the bay area and more. It’s strange they have one here, must be to attract customers after shopping nearby at the outlets.

Let me start by saying this. When they say we eat with our eyes, the case would apply to eating food from TungKee Noodle. Now quite frankly I was a bit put off by the lack of color in the food. The veggies and protein looked like the life was sucked out of it and needed a defibrillator to bring the color back. I ordered the rice plate b/c I’m not a big Phở/Soup fan. Props to Tungkee for shaking the notion that many Asian eating establishments offer small portions. They definitely filled my takeout box to the max, always a pleasant sight for someone who’s hungry. However I opened the container later to eat and find that the ratio of meat/veggies to rice was like 30⁄70. There was flavor there and I would definitely At least TungKee gets it. With the ChowFun it’s predominantly noodles and it tastes like how ChowFun is suppose to. Chowfun from other places I’ve tried were mostly vegetables with a small amount of noodles.
