I had my toe nails fixed so they would not become ingrown. Dr. Akhbari and his staff were excellent! Thank you for such good care.

I love Dr. Akhbari and his staff at the Gilroy Foot Care Center! Dr. Akhbari is very professional and caring. My toe required surgery and since I am not all that fond of going under the knife, Dr. Akhbari was able to put me at ease. He used the latest techniques as I found through my own research. My foot healed well and thanks to his tender care, my path to health has been a good one. The staff at the Center is also awesome, always taking time to see to my needs. I high recommend Dr. Akhbari and the staff at the Gilroy Foot Care Center.

Dr. Fisher fixed a foot issue that previously made running or any prolonged exercise painful. The staff is very helpful, even finding a way to squeeze me in as a new patient the same day. The doctor has a great sense of humor and was very personable. He explains his assessment and possible treatments without a lot of medical jargon.

Had to write another excellent review for this practice. After my last initial office visit and procedure for my heel pain, I was immediately followed up by Dr. Akhbari asking me my condition and whether I am experiencing any pain/​discomfort in my heel. I found that very comforting and professional which I paid them another visit for my other foot regarding an ingrown toenail that I have been ignoring for awhile.
I was able to make an appointment for that very fast and yet again they took care of my problem easily. Very professional and friendly experience

I’m not so sure I want to admit to the Unilocal World that I have foot?/feet? issues… but guess it’s sort of obvious when I am Unilocaling Dr Akhbari with Gavilan Foot Care Center.
Stellar, top rated service. Very friendly staff… gets you in quickly… within 1 or 2 days of calling for an appointment. Office is clean and tidy though… they might need a slight update in décor. :) I’ve never had a bad experience and I hope this Unilocal rating encourages people to seek the help of the Gavilan Foot Care Center.

Very happy I made the decision to see Dr. Akhbari for an ingrown toenail. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I was able to make an appoinment quicly, the day after I called. The procedure was alot less complicated then I had thought and I was in and out of the office in no time. The staff is very thorough in explaining after care instructions and showed a genuine care for their patients. My toenail healed very nicely :)

I went in yesterday to see how soon I could get an appointment for KILLER ingrown toenails. They got me in in two hours (as a new patient, no less). The Dr. saw me early and fixed 6 of the 8 without surgery. He had his staff come in 45 minutes early just to get me in for the other two, and I was out of there within an hour. He’s the kind of Dr that does whatever he can to minimize pain– avoiding surgery if possible, and actually making sure the numbing agent kicks in before starting, giving additional dosage if needed. I hate people touching my feet (more than just being ticklish), but I trust him implicitly, especially because he made time for a follow up when I was in pain I wasn’t able to handle today. I recommend him for all my friends, as well as anyone looking for someone who is willing to work with you in terms of copay, and will see you on time, if not early. He clearly puts his patients first, a very rare trait in doctors it seems from what I’m hearing…

Was charged for something that I was not given a proper financial arrangement for. Was never told what the charges would be and then when questioned, the office staff in the front was rude and unhelpful. Then, to top it off, Dr. Fisher told my referring MD that I was making trouble by questioning the bill and I was subsequently dismissed from my primary care doctor. This office needs to make patients aware of the financial burden that they may incur due to having treatment. It’s just a courtesy that should be given to patients. Also, if you do have questions, you should be able to inquire without being treated poorly. Will never go back. Better podistrists in San Jose area.
