Fancy Nails

I went here to get my nails done for my wedding and I also got a pedicure. The lady who did my nails was mid-​aged so I figured she’d be more experienced with her work. As she was working I noticed she was messy and left glue on my skin and left the gel on my skin as well. My hands were so sore afterward she hurt my fingers a lot! It was a coffin tip shape of nail and a lavender nail polish with gel. The day after my nails were full of air bubbles, every single one of them! The end result was messy and I didn’t like it! Oh well. The pedicurist did a great job! I loved it I had no complaints

I normally have really great service but lately they have been terrible. i went in about 3 weeks ago for a pedi and to have my nails redone. They did my pedi but then they started helping people after me, mind you, I’d been there for 3 hours already… Then they said, they didn’t have time to do my nails and to come back later or another day. I didn’t have time for that, I’m a full time student, I work in the bay area, i do volunteer work for underprivledged children in Morgan Hill, and I have an 8 year old daughter. When I make time to get something done, it needs to be done then. Needless to say, I left no tip and took my business elsewhere.

Walked in with a design very sinple the girl new hit to do it but just didn t care for ut so she said no she wont donit because it as to much work and took a ling time never again lazy people i guess they do not need the money

I have been going here for 10+ years and then a new owner comes in and everything goes downhill. I called for an appt, my time is limited, and for the second time the new owner screws it up! I had made the appt for a fill and a pedi at the same time as I always do, but not only was it not done at the same time as I had requested and repeated, but instead of the fill I asked for I got a whole new set of white!!! (more expensive than the fill I had asked for) I agree Anna is the best for pedicures but as long as I can’t even make an appointment I will be going elsewhere. I will miss Tony & Anna

Anna! for pedicures. I’ve been going to Anna for past 10 years plus (lost count).Once u try her. you’ll never want to see anyone else. call make appointment. she’s always busy.FYI.she does amazing kneck massage. better then a $ 80 deep tissue sport massage!
Tip good. she makes it worth u r money. I leave her a 20 dollar tip every time. can’t find customer service like her. she spends and hour with me with all the massage and everything. I either give it to the deep tissue lady. or anna

When I first moved to Gilroy I would get my nails done here. Until I got tired of crooked nails and bad manicures period. Honestly, I will not get my nails done here again. The only thing I come here for is my eyebrows. I never have to wait for more than 10 minutes and they are done perfectly. I must admit that it’s quiet painful but I am still satisfied with the end result. I ALWAYS ask for Tony. I am way too picky with my eyebrows and only trust him.

I give it a 4.5 stars. I haven’t been to this place for several years. I was helped by Mary. Great service, she really did an EXCELLENT job. Everyone there seemed nice. Prices are great, plenty of parking. I left happy. I will be coming here again and I will ask for Mary.

I used to LOVE this place. This review is on tony, I went in to get a fill (they weren’t busy at all) and tony sat me down at his station. He did my fill within like 15 min! I felt so rushed he cut them without even asking what length or even if I wanted them cut, i asked for a simple slim cross design and what I for was a crooked chubby ugly looking thing! One of my nails even had a speck of dust and it popped out after he put the gel, I’m so disappointed. I left and went to nancy at perfect nails and she immediately fixed them for me (she even waited because they were closing at 7 and I arrived a little after 7) I don’t know about the other technicians there but tony totally disappointed me.

I’ve been coming here for 6 years! I am a regular customer, which means they know how to be nice to me and always give me great service. My nails always look great and last more than the usual two weeks until it’s time for a fill. Check out Danny he’s great! Like him way better than Tony.

They need to update their nail polish selection and nail knowledge /​technique when it comes to jewels, designs, shapes and what’s on trend.
I wish I could give a higher rating but, sadly, there are other places (for less money and better quality) that offer much more.

Got a shellac French tip mani from Kimberly last Friday, and that will be the last time! I went back thinking maybe she’ll do better, but poor quality every time. My week old mani is chipped, the white polish has now cracked, and she made the white tips all different shapes and thicknesses. As she’s sliding my card to charge me I asked if I could leave a tip from my debit. She glared at me and growled «you should’ve said something before I swiped your card» and tossed my receipt at me. Never ever again will I come back to this shop! And Tony the eyebrow queen, he us the worst of them all. BEWARE!

shellac is the only way to go when you go to this nail salon however if you ever get a pedicure bring your own nail polish I’ve gotten 3 pedicures here and each time about an hour or two after I’ve gotten a pedicure the paint just comes right off of my toes it’s really frustrating but the nail technicians do a good job on my nails I go to Wendy she does a great job every time I really have no complaints other than the pedicures.

I love Anna she is the best to go to and get a pedicure. She takes her time and she is very precise I highly recommend her. The prices are great no too expensive

By far the worst Nail Salon! I went in prior to leaving the country for vacation. I needed both my eyebrows & nails done. Tony, who everyone seems to rave about treated me very badly. After giving him specific details as to wanted he totally did my eyebrows the opposite. As soon as he was done he handed me the mirror & one eyebrow was higher than the other & they were very noticeably uneven! I told him that I didn’t like them & asked him to fix them & he refused to, he insisted they were even.
I went up to the counter to pay for my nails & said I wouldn’t be paying for my eyebrows being that he refused to fix them & he became irate & began screaming at me, he then threw my money at me!!! The staff did NOTHING! I was so numb by his behavior & was shocked that they didn’t intervene. 1 customer walked out in the middle of her pedicure because of it as well.
I will never return here & I do NOT recommend this Salon!

I go to them for eyebrow waxing and they are always so accommodating and can’t beat the prices, $ 6 for eyebrows is cheap! Plus they trim them and use the tweezers also and they listen to what you want. Thats full-​service and I never have to wait. Great job!

**PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU COME HERE*** I have been coming here for over 6 years. They do a great job but their customer service is the absolute worst. Like a bad relationship where you keep hoping & wishing that ‘they’ will change, I just couldn’t do it anymore. I arrived for a pedicure at 6:15pm and was promptly led to the pedi station. Once they sit you in the chair, you’re held as a hostage. After having my feet soak in water for 25 mintues (!), I was finally serviced. By this time I was seething… after waiting all that time & NEVER BEING INFORMED WHEN I ARRIVED THAT THE WAIT TIME WAS THIS LONG (!), it was finally my turn. The pedi was good but the woman who worked on me apparently was quick to forget about me as she quickly moved on & proceeded to work on the next disgruntled customer. After another 10 minutes of waiting, I took a deep breath, quietly grabbed my sandals, took the toe separators off and without fanfare, finally realized it was over. They do a good job but the grief, anxiety and anger just weren’t worth it anymore.

This place is Horrid the other day I went in just wanting to get a fill they told me it would be around a 10 min wait so I thought okay I’ll just for a few…
While I was sitting I started to look around and notice how disgusting the place was old nails all over the floor dirty walls and the stations were terrible !
I walked right out and went to lavender .

I was recommended Fancy Nails to get a mani & pedi for a wedding.
For $ 40, I was able to get a mani, pedi, eyebrow waxing and tip! CHEAP!
I brought my own colors and they did a great job. My mani lasted for about a week and a half before it started to chip and I painted a OPI shatter polish over it for the paint to last longer. My pedi last about 2 weeks. They have great massage chairs while you get your pedi and their eyebrow waxing is quite and little pain. Everything took about 2 hours, which I was in no rush to go anywhere.
I will be returning very soon! :D

Um, YES!
They just remodeled the pedi side of the joint & put in tile & new pedicure chairs which now is made with individual plastic inserts… that the girls put in before your toes touch water.
Which means… that you never have to ‘share’ a tub. You have a protectant layer… think like the tubs plastic glove. They stick it in before & take it out & throw it away after. Whoo hoo! Go in and check it out.
And of course big ups to my girl Tonya… always does what I like & want with my nails. Love her!

I love this place!!! I used to actually hate it after a bad experience but I gave it another shot and have since being going to Tonya for hands and Anna for pedicures!
Tanya always does my nails perfectly and she is a bit of a perfectionist (which I am completely okay with). Anna takes her time with pedicures, and her foot massages (included in the pedicure price) are fabulous!!!
