Avoid this place at all cost! Terrible, terrible service… I was seen nearly 40 minutes after my appointment time. On top of it all I was shocked that my stylist accepted another client while my color was processing, so then I had to wait an additional 30 minutes till I could get my hair cut. I also didn’t have too much faith in the knowledge of the stylist.

I was a new client, and I had purchased a groupon. The stylist was okay. I had a single color process and she took over 2−½ hours just to apply the color. However, she did a great job at recommending a color, based on what I described I wanted. The results were great, I was ready to make my next appointment disregarding how long it took. I got up to the counter, and my stylist previously told me I had long hair so there would be a minimal extra charge. I was told my total was $ 175 for a single process color and cut. I have been to plenty local upscale salons and this price is just outrageous. They told me my groupon covered $ 110, so on top of my groupon I had to pay another $ 65 plus tip. Needless to say I will not be going back. The pricing was outrageous and I was told mine was extra because I had long hair, but the stylist even told me if she had cut my hair first it would have saved 2 or 3 bowls of hair dye… but I still had to pay for it? It shouldn’t have been my responsibility to tell her how to do her job, she knew I wanted a cut before she started but claimed I should have told her I wanted so much cut. Customer service is horrible, and then she told if I were to come back for a toner touch up it would be $ 60. That is more than double what I have paid for in the past at other local salons. I believe their groupon was a scam to get me in the door and over charge me and get me to pay full price.

Terrible service. A new client to the salon, I had a 3:15 appointment for a cut and color and at 4:15 I left in frustration as I was still in the waiting room. The salon director attempted to make it right by offering a free massage to make up for it, but I was less than inclined to accept. Very disappointed. I wouldn’t bother.

Gilbert is quite a drive from where I live, but for me, it’s worth it. I purchased a Groupon for one of their detox wraps, that was so good I got my first Brazilian Wax. Why I waited so long, who knows? I’ve had three waxes with three different girls, each with different techniques, but all are great. They each made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure and completely answered any questions I had. I agree with the previous reviewer, Aryn is terrific if you need anything done with your hair. I’ve tried other salons, but Revive is the one I’ll keep going back to.

I tried Revive after purchasing a Groupon and am quite happy that I did. I was overall very satisfied with my visit. Denise was an exellent stylist, she took her time with consulting me on what I wanted and the cut I got was AMAZING! I have never had more compliments on my hair! I didn’t feel that I received discount service because I was there on a Groupon, I received the same quality as if I were paying full price. I will be returning to Revive for all of my hair needs!
