True Bliss Spa

If you happen to be searching for a spa for facials or general skincare needs you can’t go wrong with True Bliss Spa. I honestly think I’ve found a hidden gem in this place. Jenae is an outstanding professional and truly knows how to satisfy customers. My expectations were definitely exceeded by her expertise and knowledge of her practice. Highly recommended!

Got a groupon to try this place. The girl Jenae was sweet and soft spoken, her room was nice, very dark and quaint. I went there for a fascial and wanted her recommendation based on her assessment of my skin. I laid down and she began to clean my face as usual, no assessment, no light was ever put on my skin to look at it. I told her about my irritation and dryness, she recommended an oatmeal mask. OK, so as I attempt to relax she began her multiple attempts to sell more facial sessions, I get it, its a business. I entertained her conversation, she also said how she shares this room with a girl who does lashes extensions, I told her I was intrigued. Instead of helping another business out she went on about how she doesn’t like lash extensions and they just rip off your own eyelashes and she had tried them but there not for her. Why bash someone else’s services? She went to attempt to sell me products from the line she uses. The whole facial was me avoiding commitment to sales and future services. I wanted to see the service I paid for and if I loved it, I would continue.
At the end of the facial she offered a hand massage and it was nothing more than her putting lotion on my hands and arms… and glitter lotion at that. When I got to my car, and looked at my skin in the sunlight, it felt clean, I didn’t notices any lasting affects from the facial, but I did notice all the mask she didn’t full clean off my forehead and neckline.
All in all for the low price of the groupon it was worth getting some type of pampering, but it was not relaxing with all the sales talk. I don’t think I would return due to the lack of pampering and proper individualized assessment of my skin needs. I have had facials before where my pores are throughly cleaned out and steamed, this was a mere cleansing, mask and clean; nothing impressive that left an impression, it’s a shame because it is close by and she was nice.

I found this place off of a Groupon that I had purchased. I’ve had my lashes done by Hadley, who works for herself, twice now and it’s been fun each time! She’s really friendly and is definitely the conversationalist! She made time fly while we got to know each other during my appointment. She’s extremely flexible and responds back right away via text! I’ve text her late at night without expecting a response the next day but she got back within 15 minutes. Not to mention that she had a child a few weeks before my first visit and she was still able to squeeze me in last minute before Christmas! It’s always nice to connect with people who work in this kind of industry because you want to trust that whoever is working on any part of your body/​face is going to do a great job and has your best intentions! I will be recommending her to friends who are also interested in getting doe-​eyed with mink lashes!

I would recommend Jenae to anyone — she works with your schedule and is very accomodating. The facial room is beautiful and relaxing and she takes the time to get to know her clients and their needs/​requests. The building is easy to find, and if you have trouble finding the suite, look for the grouping of suites and it is inside next to the massage rooms. I’ve been with Jenae for over a year now setting up monthly facials and will continue to do so!
