Akin to entering another world, it invites you to become a part of it simply because you can purchase any creative and often one of a kind item here and make it part of your universe. Find everything from antiques, art, sculpture, clothing, accessories for home and body, greeting cards and seasonal décor. Know that you will have a unique treasure to last a lifetime. I have happily regaled myself and others with gifts treasure hunted in this magical venue.

While visiting my mom in Gig Harbor, we went to Elandan Gallery to browse, but I was in the store for about an hour trying on several pretty tunics and bracelets. The shirt that I loved most was too big, but I bought a different one and paid full price. I was surprised that they made no effort to try to order the item I really wanted. This is standard in most stores.
When I went home, I used the tag on the tunic that I bought to find the company who makes the tunic online. I wrote them, described the tunic, and found out that they’d sell it to me, if the boutique wouldn’t order it. So I called Elandan Gallery and asked if they could order it, and I was told no. When I asked for the style number, I was told that the owners insisted that the salesperson not give me the style number, in spite of the fact that I had purchased something in the store. And on top of that, Elandan Gallery would not order the tunic for me in my size. They wouldn’t give me the style number to order it myself, yet they wouldn’t order it for me. This is insane.
I ended up drawing a sketch of the tunic and emailing it to the company to buy on my own.
While I understand that they don’t want customers circumventing their store, this is clearly an issue of poor customer service and a lack of common sense. I tried every avenue possible to buy this top through Elandan Gallery, and they are not interested in getting the product in for me, or helping me to locate the item on my own time. There are a lot of choices in the marketplace, and I don’t feel the need to give this business any more of my money. Elandan Gallery has lost a customer for life.
