Apparently the staff works on one order at a time, glad we were the only ones coming in at the time. Still took a fair amount of time to get served. Saw a couple come in and leave instead of waiting. We had paninis and chips. The bread was seasoned on the spicy side and the serving size was good. Wife got a brownie, said it was awesome. Cost was $ 24.

This place was amazing. We stopped here on our way to Colorado Springs and I’m glad we did. We showed up about 20 minutes before closing and the employee(owner?) treated us like we had all day to be there. We shared a cheese pizza and house calzone. They were amazing. We have to travel this way twice a month so we will definitely be stopping here again!

This place has the best pizza I have EVER had in my life and it was even gluten free. The Buffalo chicken pizza was amazing. I’m shaking like a crackhead without it. In addition to the great food this is a cute little café with a great view.

The food was good but oh my word, the restroom was absolutely disgusting. The toilet was so filthy I swear it hasn’t been cleaned in months. I’m appalled someone would run a restaurant with a restroom like that.

Good pizza and Italian salad! A must stop for lunch on the way to Breckenridge from Denver. The supreme pizza was quite delicious with the crunchy thin crust. I followed other Unilocal reviewer’s recommendation on the italian salad and they were right!

Excellent pizza after a day of skiing. The Italiano salad is a must try. Great service… he even helped us try to find Bighorn sheep.

Split a chicken pesto panini and a Greek salad. Food was good but not that special to get four stars. Decent place to stop to support a local business.

MountainBuzz Café puts the ‘L’ in local, from the«No Crampons» sign on the front door to the old-school skis and snowboards decorating the wall. We arrived at 5:30PM during the busiest week of the ski season and were greeted rather gruffly by a grizzled man wearing jeans and a flannel shirt who I presume is the owner. As he was running the entire establishment single-handedly playing cashier, waiter, cook, and bus boy, I suppose he can be forgiven. Our party of six seated itself at a table in the corner of a tiny dining room with three of us squeezed onto a ski lift chair repurposed as a bench. The garden salads(lettuce, tomato, mushroom, green pepper, onion) were reasonably-sized and came out about 20 minutes after we ordered and after he whipped-up pizzas for the parties who preceded us. The pizzas – a 16″ pepperoni and 12″ Big Italian(pepperoni, sausage and salami) – came about 20 minutes later. Expect thin crust, crunchy, with generous toppings and without burns. Opinions about pizza rank somewhere between religion and politics so YMMV. My heart is in New Haven when it comes to pizza and this pie doesn’t come close to Peppe’s or Modern Apizza, but it’s really pretty good. We devoured both in less than 15 minutes. Don’t expect five-star service, but if you’re looking for the full Georgetown experience after a long day of skiing or riding, give this joint a try.

We were very pleased to find a place dog friend but the paninis left some room for improvement. When my boyfriend asked for panini suggestions, the employee said he has eaten it too many times and can’t stomach the stuff anymore… :-/not a real sell.

Definitely a fan of this place! Georgetown is a great mountain town, and the Buzz is a great quick stop for lunch, or to sit and read a book. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Whenever we are visiting a new place, we try to find a local small businesses to support, be it a restaurant, shop, etc… So, we took to Unilocal and all the good reviews led us here, and I’m glad it did. As the name of the establishment implies… You can get café type food and pizzas. We were feeling like soup an a sandwich, as it was the first chilly day of the season. Sadly, they don’t make soup… but they had lots of panini options, so we went with two of those and they were both delicious! We would definitely come back again.

Despite the fact I had been camping the night before, hiking that day, and super hungover the pizza here was delicious! It came loaded with toppings, was cooked fresh by a friendly dude, and very reasonably priced. Also a really quaint, little café with an awesome vibe. Definitely be back if I’m in the area.

$ 9 for a tiny panini and stale chips. The panini was good, but was seriously so small it could have been served in an elementary school hot lunch. After a long day of hiking, this was not satisfying, especially for the price.

Had the backcountry bagel which had egg, onions, spinach, ham and cheese. It was so good and that means a lot coming from NJ where bagels are top notch

Ate here after hiking Mt. Bierstadt and it was delicious. Pizza was cooked fresh, toppings were tasty and cheese was stringy! Can’t wait to come back!

On the way home from Georgetown we wanted to get something to eat and found this place had really good reviews and rating. It was a really good choice and there menu is pretty expansive, the delicious smell of pizza hits you as soon as you walk through the door. There are breakfast foods, pizzas, sandwiches, calzones, panini’s, and assorted deserts. It was fairly quiet when we got there and not busy, it wasn’t that large but that didn’t take away from the quality. I ordered the Citadel panini, the pesto was really good and everything tasted fresh. The only reason this place gets 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the manager going to the bathroom and coming out without washing his hands. I didn’t hear the bathroom flush but the door was shut for sometime and then he came out, so he honestly may not have used the bathroom but I doubt it. Other than that one issue, I would recommend this place and may go back if I were in the area.

Would just like to reiterate how great this place is to stop on the way up the hills for a breakfast wrap or sandwich. I call ahead and either Marty or Brett have my order ready to go when I arrive — with a satisfaction rate of 100%. 5 minutes off and back on the highway and you skiers know how important that is. No hassles parking or waiting in a drive through and the food is great! Just do it. I guarantee you’ll thank me later. Recently stopped for a sandwich on the way home at lunchtime and it was equally excellent. Highest recommendation.
