My pal had the wienerschnitzel and I the pork schnitzel — both fabulous! Huge and tasty portions and fine service. The place was practically empty, and in fact for a bit we were the only customers; our server mentioned that summer was a busier time. Great value for money, cozy ambiance, top — class vittles — you can’t go wrong. And it’s Interesting to find a Czech resto in an old Colorado mining town…

So pleasantly surprised by this European restaurant in a tiny Colorado town in the mountains. We had taken my parents on the train ride in Georgetown to celebrate my moms birthday and I had made reservations at the Euro Grill for an early dinner. Our table was set and ready when we arrived. There is nothing spectacular about the décor but it is clean and neat. Our server was quick, efficient and polite. The three main things I look for in service. The fare is mostly Czech but includes very recognizable dishes with European influences. I personally ordered the Svitkova, a marinated beef loin dish served with dumplings. I had never tried this dish before so I had no idea what I was missing, but now I do! I was also trying everything that everyone else had: pork schnitzel, chicken schnitzel, Hungarian goulash, red cabbage, and mashed potatoes. Everything, and I mean everything, was delicious! This restaurant is a true gem and I hope it stays open for a long time so we can visit many more times. It’s worth every penny and then some.

After hearing more then once, from locals in town, I knew that Euro Grill was a must stop on our stay in Georgetown. The pleasant stroll from our hotel stoked my appetite, I was starving! I was delighted to find a lovely deck over looking Clear Creek. While we looked over the well priced wine list I ordered the local cheese plate. Soaking in the mountain air with great wine and cheese is 5 stars in my book. The Eastern European food was excellent. Flavorfully seasoned with generous portions that leave you filled perfectly. The star plate on our table was the Pork Shank served with cabbage and horseradish. Be still my heart. This is a dish I will dream about later. The crunch of fresh bread, the bite of horseradish. The soft, toothsome pork falling off the bone, paired with the sweet crunch of cabbage. The mix of textures and flavors is not one I will soon forget. If traveling through this beautiful part of our country, be sure and taste this local fare.

Went to lunch here on a whim. Service was good– no one else was dining for lunch at 1:30 today(Wednesday). I had the Svickova and the meat was hard and over cooked. They say it comes with«dumplings» which actually is just slices of very pale bread. Could have used more seasoning — perhaps I just don’t dig Euro food like I’d like to think I do. The fries my friend had were super good but I didn’t want to order burger and fries at a Euro restaurant. The cabbage basically overcooked too. Sort of disappointed there weren’t more lunch options. Tea was terrible and I sent it back. Baked brie was really good and I enjoyed the little salad it came with.

This is my second time coming here with my mom and let me tell you, I remember the first time being much tastier and very different than this time the food was good but just different they seem to be more expensive .It wasn’t as friendly as it was the when we came here there were more people here last time also this time we were the only customers in the whole place. I had to get the waitresses attention a couple of times she never came and checked on us on her own accord. the Prosecco was not sweet at all that I ordered, so she did exchange that for me for a Moscato from Germany that did taste very good. I ordered the chicken schnitzel that was very yummy and the portion was very generous. My mom ordered the veal schnitzel and she said that it was very delicious. We also ordered a side of red cabbage and let me tell you that was out of this world it had a hint of cinnamon and it had little pieces of Apple in it. Then for dessert we had apple strudel that was according to my mom very very European scrumptious. I only had a few bites and I thought it was very good and it would have been great with a cup of coffee, but I was too full to eat any more. Because my meal was so filling. So if you are in Georgetown Colorado stop in to the Euro grill and definitely eat schnitzel here and have a real true European meal. And for your information schnitzel is(not sausage) it is a flat deep fried piece of veal or chicken or pork battered in a light breading an it is not greasy at all. And that’s all she wrote for today.

This is a Czech restaurant on the outskirts of Georgetown. It’s a large and roomy place(meaning the tables aren’t within a foot of each other as with many restaurants) with indoor and outdoor seating. A stream runs right by the patio, which is a nice touch. The establishment appears to be clean, but could use a more appealing paint job on the outside. The bathrooms were clean and looked recently updated. For dinner, I had their chicken gnocchi with asparagus(I know, this dish is Italian, not Czech!) And my fiancé had the beef soup as an appetizer with his main dish being the beef and dumplings. He really enjoyed it, but it wasn’t too my taste. I loved my gnocchi, though. I had their raspberry cocktail for dessert. Yum! My fiancé had the apple strudel and liked it(but I thought my dessert was better!). We both enjoyed our Pilsner Urquells throughout our meal. Our waitress was reserved but polite and the service was decent.

Really good Denver omelet. The potatoes that they serve is really good. The hours have been hit or miss. Usually just during the winter. It’s a bit pricey for breakfast foods but pretty worth it.

I am a Pilot and a Georgetown Resident and I can’t figure out why this place isn’t way more crowded. The location is right on Clear Creek with a Patio Riverview and the food is superb, one of a kind, Czech Bohemian. This was considered the best style of cooking in all of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire. You will not find better Lager beer on Tap, nor someone that knows how to properly pour a Lager Beer than here. Be aware it takes 4 – 5 minutes to pour a Czech Pilsner. The Svichkova is out of this world along with the Schnitzels and the Czech style of Red Cabbage & Dumplings. The Deserts are very good as well. Try a Czech Pacinky, which is off menu. The Folks that work there are Bohemian Czechs and are very reserved culturally and some might take that as rude. German Restaurants are a Dime a Dozen, but good Czech Restaurants that serve extremely hard to find Czech Pilsners on Tap are like Hens Teeth, even in places like NYC. TRYTHISPLACEOUT& You won’t be disappointed.

Very good stop in the mountains. Loved eating outside next to the river. The chicken and pork schnitzel was like I had in Germany! The goulash soup was perfect, spicy and tasty. The apple strudel was genuine even with the whipped cream to the side. Great service. Lunch menu was good but the dinner menu looked great. We will be back.

Meh, not the best place to stop for lunch. We stopped for lunch with visiting family because the deck overlooking the creek looked nice. The lunch selection was really slim. There was a cheeseburger, hamburger, and blue cheese sandwich on the«lunch» menu. I ordered the blue cheese sandwich and it was mediocre at best. My husband ordered their brie with raspberry app and it came out with a pile of tomatoes instead. He’s not a fan of tomatoes so he wasn’t real happy with his meal either. We actually watched a table come and go after looking at the menu. I wish we had too!

Used to be on our list of places to eat with out of town guests. Atmosphere hasn’t changed… still great. Food has deteriorated since our last visit over 12 months ago. Stopped on our way from Denver to Vail. Goulash was disappointing… meat tough and barely edible. Hamburger not exceptional, but fries were tasty. Long way to go for great fries. Won’t be back for some time.

Some dishes were better than others, and the young wait person was pleasant, but a bit clueless! The best choice was the Svickova(marinaded tender beef slices in a rich flavorful gravy served with tender slices of dumpling). The goulash was pretty tasty, but the two members of our group who ordered the braised pork in gravy were both disappointed: it was bland, a bit salty, and mostly not much there. Both servings were all gravy & very little pork! The dumpling slices served with all three dishes were very good. We found both traditional Czech beers tried to be disappointing to tastes formed by more robust microbrews. BTW, this is NOT traditional American fair, the EuroGrill serves a Czech/Eastern European menu!

We made a road trip from AZ to MN — driving 500 – 900 miles a day and getting really exhausted fast. All we needed to do was take a seat in the Euro Grill and the stress melted away. The waitresses are great and so sweet. The Veal Schnitzel was perfect — crisp and tender. The potato salad was the same as we got in Germany! The Weiner Roast Braaten NY was done to perfect med-med/rare with a smooth peppercorn sauce. I tried to replicate the potato hash & theirs was better! LOL Ordered a piece of Streudel to go — was huge & so flake! Portion size is large — so be hungry — because the food is so good you will want to share a couple of dishes! Wish they were closer to us in AZ! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through!

Great food, I would have never thought that a European restaurant would be this Good, I forgot what I got, but it was thinly sliced marinated slices of beef, which where melt-in-your-mouth good, and the outside view was great too, all around great experience.

Euro Grill was a good find. We stopped off in Georgetown for a quick lunch before hitting the 4×4 trails. We were seated quickly on the outdoor patio along the creek. The waitress as friendly and fast. The very good and fresh.

The food was so good! Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were stuck on I70 in major traffic and had to stop for dinner. We were surprised and delighted to find this restaurant. Beautiful outdoor seating near the river. They even let our dogs sit next to us.

Super cute place, so glad we found it! Amazing pork schnitzel! Went for lunch and the serving was pretty big, with really tasty mashed potatoes. My husband got their goulash with dumplings and he really liked it too. The only thing is the service. It was alright, could do better. Servers seemed not to like their jobs very much. But we will definitely be back for the food!

Excellent goulash. Just like in Prague. Beautiful deck that sits right along the creek bed. Highly recommend this place if you enjoy Eastern European style food or just a nice setting in the mountains.

Outdoor seating 4 stars, service 3 stars, food 2 stars — Overall 2.5 stars. What carries the experience is the outdoor seating, location, uniqueness, and the service was as pleasant as any we received when we had been in Europe(see pics of restaurant and food). The food was okay, not disappointing but not particularly memorable. I had the pork goulash — meat was tender but the sauce was very salty and reminded me of coming from a packet. The baked brie was great(pretty hard to get that one wrong) Offering foreign beer. Apple bread pudding dessert with ice cream was not-too-sweet and pleasant without being compelled to return for it. I make my own fermented kraut and was excited to try an order of their red cabbage on the side. It was good, yet without the singing memory of eating kraut in Europe. People will either love this place or think meh. Before you go please note: The server explained this is Czech food, quite different from German. The«dumplings» are actually just steamed white bread(in addition to the regular white bread and butter brought to the table.) A meal averages $ 16 p/person, the dessert was $ 7. Add a drink and an app or dessert and expect to pay closer to $ 30 p/person. The food took about 30 minutes, restaurant was empty during our visit. The service seemed on par with European culture and wasn’t unfriendly. I can overlook preferences in service or ambiance if the food is amazing, it was okay. We took our leftovers home, but we didn’t opt to reheat it later. This place can still be something fun and different to try while in Georgetown, just set your expectations accordingly. If we go back, it will likely be just to sit outside with a foreign beer and appetizer only.

This restaurant desperately needs to up their standards. Until then, I would not recommend eating here.
