Charming Charlie – Geneva

Their employees scam you. Met an employee at a bar and she said they keep paid gift cards and gives customers blank ones. Very skeevy!

I love this store!
I was visiting from CA, and had never heard of Charming Charlies. My friend mentioned going, and I wasnt all that excited until I walked in the store!
They happened to be having a Buy One Get One Free on all red tag items. I ended up with some cute stuff!
VERY nice woman working at the cash register as well — very friendly!

While watching the latest episode of «My Shopping Addiction» on Oxygen this week, I decided I don’t have nearly enough reviews for retail establishments given my passion for fashion. Case in point, no CC review for Geneva Commons… whaaaa?!
This Charming Charlie’s, like all others is meticulously arranged: items are separated by color and style to some degree. I noticed today that they have a large selection of hats for cold weather toward the front of the store, and also that all hair accessories are located to the left of the register at the back of the store. At any given time, you will find plenty of young women milling about, cleverly offering baskets so you can just pile the jewels high while throwing your budget out the window.
I will note that this store can be a bit overwhelming the first time you visit, given the sheer volume of items offered. In addition to jewelry, they offer reading glasses, shoes ranging from boots to flats, clothing items such as dresses and tops and handbags galore. Their prices are extremely reasonable, ranging from around $ 7 – 30 on most items that I picked up. Since I AM working on my shopping problem (today, at least), I left empty handed but that doesn’t mean that I didn’t make a mental list a mile long of the baubles that I was lusting after. It’s Christmas for God’s sake– and it’s better to give than receive (or so I’ve been told).That being said, I will be returning to pick up some stocking stuffers for my peeps. they have items that can work for any age range. The clearance section was a little dumpy, but what do you expect the day after black Friday?

If you are putting together an outfit for a special occasion or just for work stop by here to pick up the necessary trendy accessories. Everything is color coordinated with tables of jewelry, purses, scarves, shoes and clothing. So far I haven’t bought anything there because it’s a bit young for me and I’m more of an Etsy girl but if you are under 30 or a hip 30+ woman you’ll have a blast at this place.

Absolutely fantastic for the accessory-​loving female… purses, jewelry, scarves, etc. The store is huge and the prices are very reasonable. How have I not heard of this before! The scarves are $ 9.97, necklace & earring sets were $ 12.97. Every color imaginable. I had to exercise extreme self-​control! But I can’t wait to go back!
