Poor parking available. Happy hour til 7pm is the best thing. Bar food is lacking. It’s s sport bar. only so so on that front. Bar maid has attitude… yes decent beer selection but there are plenty of bars we a broader selection of IPAs. Having a mix drink is a challenge for her… serves it without coaster. or napkin she triea to explain my drink that ive had for over 40yrs. and it had way to much bitters. i normally would zend it back… but i figured she might punch me. haha Saff has music control blasting it from the 60/70s.and singing. meanwhile the .devils V rangers and no sound. no sound!!! REALLY your kidding me.

The station is one of my top weekend dinner spots.
Beer — the beer selection is always a nice variety. They have a ton of choices to pick from.
Food — really good. Super delicious California wrap with bacon and avocado. Yum! My kids get the child potion pasta. It’s so big they usually don’t finish it.
Atmosphere — relaxed and casual. Kid friendly and they eat for free on saturday nights!
I recommend going.

I think the station is a great local spot. I haven’t had the food (but it looks good!), but the beer selection is great, with plenty of local craft brew. Tuesday trivia nights are always fun, and the bartenders are helpful and personable. I would definitely check it out!

Awesome place, great apps, happy hour is from 4 to 7 during the week with a buck off all craft beers as well as some choices of two dollar beers. I had the Buffalo wings a d they were awesome. Nice staff, many regulars.

Went here with a few friends for happy hour. We may have stayed longer and ordered food, but there were some issues… The service was not very knowledgeable about beer, they had difficulty pronouncing some beers, didn’t know much about the styles of beer, and referred to our NJCB (craft beer discount card) as our «food stamps». Haha. But the jokes didn’t stop there, the beer prices are ridiculously high for the beers and the area. $ 8 for pint of a hell or high watermelon, which is a 4.9% beer?! No one else charges that much! Since it was happy hour, beers were $ 1 off, but the Firestone Walker Easy Jack (4.5% ABV) was also $ 7 and served in a 10oz glass! $ 6 for 10oz??? When we pointed it out to our bartender that this glass was a bit tiny, she insisted that it is served in this specific Firestone Walker glass and cannot be poured in any other glass. Ha! A joke, right??? How ridiculous! The menu said its a 16oz beer but clearly was in a mini cafeteria glass.
They don’t even serve beer in proper glassware… They just consider the logo of the glass as the correct libation vessel. I’d hate to see what happens if more people order a beer than they have the «correct» glassware for. Their heads may explode… Or they deny patrons beer until someone else has finished theirs?! Unreal. I hope they get their craft beer act together… Not sure I’ll be returning for some time.

Great spot with a terrific craft beer selection. This is what I hoped I’d find in the nearby branches of «The Office» but neither come close. Good, broad menu. I had an excellent burger. Looking forward to going back. My only quibble is with the beer menu: almost four dozen brews with no descriptions. This led to a couple of mistakes on my part. I’ll probably ask for tastes in the future.

That ^ star is for our server, Carrie. She was sweet and very attentive. Stop by and say hi, and then eat someplace else. By far, the worst restaurant I’ve been to. They should put a Charlie Browns there.

Just had a lunch at The Station. The craft beer selection was fantastic and the bartender, Johanna, was extremely friendly!
I ordered a burger and several of the craft beers. The beers were reasonably priced and Johanna was knowledgeable about the different craft beers and offered recommendations.
Overall, I really felt like I got my money’s worth!

I was visiting family from CA and found this great local bar with nice ambiance, nice people, hefty beer selection, and a good menu with lots of options. They were very friendly and accommodating when I asked them to find the out of town baseball game. I will go

Ate here with a decent sized group of friends. Service was good, food was good and the draft selection is good for the craft beer lover. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

New management is a refreshing change. About 30 beers on tap and TV’s all around so a great place to watch a game.
Staff is good but not very knowledgeable about the current beer selection. Burger and fries were terrific. I had a jersey burger w Taylor ham. Awesome.
Try it. Go for the beer. Stay for the game.

Excellent craft beer selection by Union County standards. They even pour the beer into the glasswear of the particular brewing company. Do they really have a Wells Banana Bread Beer pilsner glass? Or a North Coast Old Rasputin pint tumbler? They sure do!
The food is mediocre, but the service is good. They have darts and a jukebox to preoccupy yourselves with while you drink your brew.

Service: was ok. Waitress was efficient but harried. There was a guy who looked like a trainee who came and asked how we were doing THRICE !! He was soo nervous and smelling of cigarettes .,
Drinks: they have good selection of beers at least on the menu. I say this cause they did not have the draught I ordered. Same was the case with the wine my wife ordered. We both had to change the orders .
Food: This is where things go downhill., greasy n full of butter. Crab cakes were dry n smelly. Tereyaki chicken could have done with a few mins more on the grill and shrimp scampi had rubbery shrimps. Only buffalo chicken empanadas were Ok.

I was only here once in late December but I plan on returning. I should start by saying I sat at the bar so I can’t speak to the waitstaff service, but I did really appreciate the guy bartender (who was filling in at the last minute for someone who had called out).
I was really impressed with the craft beer selection, and with the bartender’s knowledge and willingness to let me try little sips of a couple of brews I wasn’t familiar with before settling on one. They have such a varied and extensive tap and bottle list with beers from all over the world as well as some old standbys for non-​adventurous types. :) I thought the food was good too – had a steak quesadilla. I was happy to discover this place and hope others will give it a shot. Cheers!

I went to The Station for the first time this past weekend through a certificate I purchased on
. I went with my sister who was visiting from out of town and my boyfriend tagged along.
The bf ordered the bbq bacon cheese burger and my sister and I ordered some appetizers to split (the wings and nachos). The appetizers were pretty good– but the burger was DELICIOUS! It was big, juicy and the sauce was tasty. As soon as he took a bite he said «we’re definitely coming back here!»
The atmosphere is definitely friendly with lots of locals. We came on Poker Night and there was a league doing their tournament. Definitely a reasonable place to go for a good burger and a few beers.

I’ve visited The Station twice now and both times, it filled the void that needed to be filled. Simple environment with good poured beers.
Last time I went, I visited on a Sunday night and the bartender Shawn couldn’t be any better. Anytime I needed my glass filled, he was on it before I could even ask. He gave my buddy and I some great advice on the menu as we weren’t too hungry when we arrived, but glad we ate when we left.
Can’t go wrong with The Station when you want some beers and nice bar food. Hit them on a Sunday with football on and you’ll be especially happy.
