Good wine selection. way over priced. Poor parking. Food is boring over priced. for its location you’d expect better..

This is another example of a place that I wanted to love, but after about five trips I have to say it’s just okay. If you want a good glass of wine and some overpriced okay food check it out.

Rosie’s is such a cute and classy little wine bar for a date or a get together with your girlfriends. Been here twice and both times it was packed. They have a nice selection of wines you can buy by the glass and a ton of wines you can buy by the bottle. The wines are listed by how light or strong they are which is useful if you’re not a total wine connoisseur. The staff is very attentive and helpful, three people asked us if we were being helped while waiting for a table. In the Summer they have an outdoor area for a nice summer cocktail or wine. For those who aren’t huge wine fans they do have cocktails and other liquors to choose from. I had the lychee martini which was delicious and strong. I can’t speak for the food because i’ve always just come for drinks but it does look good. Can’t go wrong here especially with a name like Rosie’s!

Went here with a few friends back in November. What a neighborhood gem! The food, service and vibe was just as I had imagined it would be. Each plate was delicious from our appetizers to our entrees. This is definitely going to become my new local spot…

This place has gotten a lot better. The service is good, the wine selection is nice, and the food is better. They have a pretty solid whisky selection, too. Recommended.

The wine list is good. The food is very poor to middle. Had a hair in my appetizer. They seem to use the same ingredients as a diner or high school. But again the wine is what you want here so just have that.

Food: my wife and I have been here several times by now, but I have yet to review. We generally go with the small plates so we can try a few things. Everything is generally pretty good. We like the hummus with pita and veggies. We’ll also get a cheese plate. Yesterday we got the Camembert, Goat and Humberto Fog. And we finished with the grill cheese sliders and Cajun fries. My only complaint is that there was too much onion on my slider… and I love onions. The wine is always great. My advice to get the house selection. They give a healthy glass. Service: always friendly and happy to help. Yesterday, when the owner saw the Humbert Fog that was served with our cheese plate, he thought it looked dry. So he brought us a new piece. I appreciate that they really want you to enjoy the food. Atmosphere: clean, not too bright, not too dark, you can sit inside or out. A couple televisions on generally with sports. We’ll continue to go back., whenever we can get a night away from the kids.

Rosie’s is a nice spot that we often forget about and I was surprised we hadn’t reviewed it yet after years of coming here since it first opened. Sometimes I can’t figure out if it’s trying to be an upscale, fancy establishment or a good neighborhood alternative to the typical bars in the area. Rosie’s has nice corner location with outdoor seating and a nice happy hour special– usually there’s a $ 5 wine to enjoy. We haven’t ordered food here beyond an app and some of the cheese-plates, but they were delicious. The cheese plates are reasonably priced for a wine bar. The«view» isn’t that great– it’s on a busy street across from a Shop Rite but the place itself is designed and decorated very nicely. I love the large windows that let in a good amount of natural light. This place is 4 stars for happy hour and 3 otherwise. I definitely recommend this place for happy hour so you can take advantage of the more reasonable prices. I think the atmosphere is also better for happy hour. Happy hour usually equals happy people!

What a great place! Been here a couple of times and it’s been really consistent. Let’s start with the staff first of all they know their product. But aren’t pushy with it which I love. Last night I was early waiting for my date and sat down with an ice tea. Didn’t get pushed on the wine which in some similar wine bars I have been in Northern Jersey happens. It’s no pressure and makes it relaxing. Also I have never had a problem getting a seat or parking though the place is busy. Your never outside waiting. You can walk in. With the service being so good sitting at a table is fine because the drinks come quickly. Finally the food is great. I haven’t had anything there that’s bad. Great apps and small plates. Also awesome olives. Great date location. Worth checking out.

Updating to 4 stars after making this one of our«go to» spots after work. Relaxed vibe and good food which is perfect after a hectic day at work when you need a cocktail and don’t feel like cooking. My fav are the Gruyère cheese sliders!

Small place with good quality, very good selection of wines and excellent food. I really want to rate this place 5 stars, but the reason i only give 3 stars is because its too long for the food to arrive, also the consistency of cocktails is off, i got 2 margarita with to different taste. i love this place and I’m still coming back.

Came here randomly on a Friday night, there is parking in the back off to the side. There was no availability at the bar so we sat outside, which the night was perfect for thankfully. I got myself a special white wine, which was really good. Then I switched over to the house malbec, which was also really delicious. The wines start at $ 8 a glass and goes up from there, definitely very reasonable. We got a few little plates to share including the mac and cheese plus mushrooms on top. It was a bit on the greasy, oily side, which is where the one star is coming off. I’ve had better but it was still good. Just that my lips were caked in grease after each bite. The best was the puff pastry with brie filling that you dipped into the jam. So good! We almost ordered a second one if we weren’t so full(as we both had a small dinner prior to coming here). The waitress we had was really nice and attentive when needed without being too over the top in your face. Would definitely return!

Tried this place last night with my wife for drinks and some food. We had an excellent experience. It’s a nice quiet place where you can relax and enjoy a night out with friends. We sat at the bar but there are also plenty of tables. They have a great wine selection and their bartenders can also mix a very good drink. We shared a few small plates off the menu and all of the food was delicious. To top it off, all of the staff was knowledgable and extremely friendly. We will definitely be coming back.

Came her for a girls night out which was a fun time. I ordered penne with garlic and spinach and was very disappointed. Their dishes come in a small and large size. I asked the waitress how small the small is and she told me that it was a decent size so I trusted her word. I got my pasta and was shocked at how small the bowl actually was. Maybe it’s because I’m Italian, but I’m used to decent portions of pasta. Anyway, as I started to eat my penne, which wasn’t hot but somewhat warm, I noticed that I didn’t see any garlic as I asked for sautéed spinach in garlic and olive oil. The spinach also wasn’t sautéed and tastes very bitter. They also doused the pasta in black pepper. I only saw some garlic powder on the pasta. I tried to force myself to eat it but I could only finish half. I was in a group of people so didn’t want to be left starving, so I ordered seasoned French fries to share with a friend. These were doused in paprika and were spicy. We also had asked for bread with our dinner and it was very cold. Would I come back? Probably. But I won’t be coming back for dinner. This place is small and seems to be more intimate and better as a place for wine and light finger foods. Reservations are strongly recommended!

Great place. Went here for ladies night and truly enjoyed myself. It’s a small dimly lit establishment with a nice sized bar, but we opted for a table in the far corner. The food was amazing. I wanted to try their signature drink but they ran out of their signature.ingredient. Oh well, I’ll try it the next time I’m there, because I will definitely be back.

We settled at Rosies since we had a tough time finalizing a place in WestField. A great set up with wine bottles adorning the place. We went straight for the cocktails. Whiskey sour could have definitely been a little sweeter. My friends were buzzed on a single margarita. The food was good. Shrimp in garlic sauce had a great tangy flavor. My friends got the hummus, which they loved. I’d definitely come back in the summer for some house wine and shrimp.

Been here multiple times and haven’t had a bad experience. Little pricey but the wine is good and the food is as well. They have pretty decent happy hour specials. Staff seems knowledgeable when you ask about wine recommendations. My friend had her baby shower here which I thought was a lovely change from the usual shower venue and the staff was very accommodating as well(even though the manager showed up late to open for us — he made up for it!).

My friend was coming in for the weekend and we were looking for some place casual but where we could enjoy some good food, company, and wines. We got exactly this. The hostess, waitress and other staff were all friendly and accommodating, but not overbearing. I was hoping that this wine bar would have flights, as I wanted to try a few wines, but they didn’t. We opted for a cabernet which was recommended by the waitress. She allowed us to sample it and we were pleased. Others in our party of six went for cocktails and they seemed to enjoy the variety that they had. The menu itself is not extensive, but it has a wide variety of foods. We opted for several small plates which included everything from cheese platters to salads to medium-sized tapas. A little pricey, but everything was flavorful and we all left full. The dessert was equally as decadent and overall it was a great night. Dim lighting, nice ambience, small but full at all times, and friendly staff. It was a great night!
