Milan Pizza

I moved to Union, and I still drive 20 minutes to get my pepperoni pie every Thursday. It’s that good. And the meatball parm has always been my favorite sub at Milan Pizza.

So the people here are very nice and their pizza is always fresh literally they don’t let food sit !!! So I always come here expected nothing but great pizza and that what I always get. Probably the best pizza I had by far. Haven’t tried anything other than slices here but I will come here for an entrée very soon!

Hands down BEST pizza in the neighborhood. Very nice staff, fast delivery, and reasonable prices– have been ordering from them for years now!

With the abundance of Italian joints in town it took us awhile to make our way to Milan, but we are glad we did. It’s an unassuming location on North Ave; nothing fancy just your regular neighborhood spot. The pizza is exactly what I hoped for — a perfect slice of pizzeria pizza, gooey mozzarella with a nice marinara and thin crust. Also had the chicken parm hero which for the price can’t be beat with plenty of juicy breaded chicken, sauce, and cheese. Solid neighborhood pizzeria with friendly service!

Moved right next to Milan a few months ago… These guys treated us like family from the first dinner. Pizza is great… Gotta get the chx parm sub or dinner… All around great owners… Customer service is unmatched. Must try the place.

New to the area and everyone I talked to recommended somewhere else so before I ordered I saw all the great reviews about Milan and have been eating there ever since usually once a week, fast delivery !! And Excellent Pizza!!!

I went to this pizza shop before my evening shift at work. I was hoping they would have different types of pizza by the slice but they only had sad looking plain slice available. Nonetheless I needed to order something. I had chicken parm sub. It reminded me of what my mom would make. It was fresh and piping hot ! Good sauce, chicken cutlet and gooey mozzarella cheese coming out ! The prices are very fair too. The downsides: poorly lit and decorated. Although my food wAs very good the place itself seems a bit sketchy.

I’m sorry but anyone that says anything other than this is the best pizza around must have had a bad taste in their mouth to begin with! I have been eating their pizza for about 10 years now at one point I moved 25 minutes away and would drive here just to get their amazing pizza. Not only are the owners so sweet, but the food is amazing and so cheap you can’t get a large pie for $ 10 anywhere else it’s so good I’d pay double! The only downfall is they are closed Sunday’s. By far best pizza in Jersey!!!

I love this place because the pizza is good but it’s the service that keeps me coming back. We have a child with a soy allergy so most pizzas are out, but the guys at Milan changed the oil they use for her! So… of you child has a soy allergy this is a safe pizza spot!!! I like their chicken fingers and Mozzerella sticks too!

wow all these reviews, all family and friends. pizza was utterly crap, no taste, dough was tasteless and raw even though I ordered my pie well done black on the bottom. toppings where a joke discusting sausage I give this place a few more months

I was really in the mood for Pizza on a rainy Saturday and after reading other reviews on Unilocal,I decided to give Milan Pizza a go. So happy I did — the food is great. Crisp thin crust Pizza with a generous amount of toppings. Also, the Buffalo Wings had just enough zing and they through in a FREE bottle of Iced Tea with my order. Delivery took about 25 minutes (which was the estimated time) and above all, the price was right — great value for what you are paying for. Highly recommended, I will 100% be ordering again or stopping into the shop soon.

After trying several pizza places in the cranford/​garwood/​Westfield area, my girlfriend and I finally discovered Milan. Not the greatest pizza I’ve ever had in my life, but very reliable and tasty when your craving a good slice of pizza and much better than any of the other places we’ve tried in the area. The thin crust is dangerously good if you’re trying to watch your carb intake. Very highly recommend this place!

Thin crust pizza, delivery was adequate, pizza was good. My second go to place, as my usual restaurant was closed. I recommend them for the Cranford area.

Tried it because the rating was high… Chicken parm great… Meatball parm… Excellent… Pizza delich. Chicken fingers hot and crispy…. Mmmm what next?

I’ve been going to Milan for about a year now and I’ve never had a bad experience. The employees are consistently kind and approachable, and make sure they perfect every order that they make.
More importantly, the food is DELICIOUS! No frills, standard pizza pie — what else could you want in New Jersey? Pastas and salads are also always fresh and made exactly as ordered. I recently started getting Italian subs — do yourself a favor and do the same.
Above all, the price is right. You get much more than you pay for at Milan.
TIP: Don’t be dismayed by their location (no parking in front). There is a lot behind Milan that is accessible from North Ave or Cedar Street. You can also park in the CVS lot directly across the street.

This is my favorite place to eat, period. I’m not exaggerating, and here’s why:
1) Generous owners that consistently provide freshly cooked food and never let me pay the cents after the dollar.
2) A menu of SUPER GENERIC NEW JERSEY PIZZERIA FOOD EXECUTED PERFECTLY. This is the big one — the salads are cold, crisp and fresh. the sandwiches seem more a labor of love than a recipe. The deli meats are high quality, and the authentically Italian owners love to tell you about which nice cuts of meat they bought that week. The pizza is flavorful and up to par with pizza in the area (don’t really love normal pizza and don’t order it often but I have no gripes whatsoever with it when I do get it.) Sicilian Pies, however, are excellent here: it’s not easy to make a thick crust light and fluffy.
3) Owners are constantly fulfilling my order requests accurately which are sometimes not menu-​items.
4) Super affordable.

Best Items:
— Turkey subs: it’s not your run of the mill sandwich. They toast the bread and the quality of turkey is high and flavorful.
— Greek salad: allegedly they use Goat’s milk feta here and it certainly tastes like it. So good. Comes with 2 grilled chicken cutlets cooked perfectly. Must’ve ordered this 40+ times, and always spot on.

— if you’re into specialty pies (weird stuff, like baked ziti pizza) this is not your spot
— décor inside is dated. I don’t care about this at all, but I could see some people placing importance on this.

I am very impressed with the slice I just had. These guys make a serious pizza! The tomato sauce is nice and sweet, just the way I like it. I would recommend coming here if you want a slice from heaven!

I recently moved to the area and finding a decent pie has been challenging. We figured we’d order from this place and give it a go. The buffalo chicken pizza was incredibly disappointing. There were barely pieces of chicken on it. It was dry and not much of a sauce. We will not be ordering from here again. The hunt for decent pizza in the Cranford/​Garwood area continues.
