This place is one of those sneaky little unassuming spots. It looks like nothing from outside, but the inside is very well lit and clean. The woman that helped us was very nice and did a good job. The food was out super fast too. We had tamales and chili rellanos. The rice was great, the beans were great, the chips with refritos were great! The tamales were good but great. Good masa but too much for the meat ratio. This place is pretty affordable and totally worth stopping in for some tasty food. I missed tamales and this place dos the trick. Stop in!

Yum! This place was awesome! We are staying at the Sheraton Garden Grove, and my husband picked up tamales and tacos from here to eat back at the hotel — the food was delicious! We each had one chicken tamale(tasty), one pork tamale(delicious), and one al pastor taco(very good)! The salsas were great, too. My husband appreciated the quick, friendly service and reasonable prices(tacos were $ 1.50 each and tamales were $ 2.50 each). Such a flavorful, fast, and inexpensive treat. Yay!

Delicious, delicious, DELICIOUS! First time here and I will be coming back! They had us at the cimplimentary chips with refried beans. Holy moley was that GOOD! We ordered the beef tamles and carne asada tacos and you can taste the marinade. Excellent. The tortillas were scrumptiously crispy and the handmade flour tortillas were out of this world! You can taste the love in this food. The flan and buñuelos were also excellent! There’s an Alberto’s right next to this location, but my advice is to skip the greasy, forgettable chain restaurant and enjoy authentic Mexican food at Tatiana’s! Fresh and made to order, you won’t regret coming here!

Love this place! My boyfriend and I have been coming here weekly since we found it through Unilocal. He and I get the chicken enchiladas. He gets green sauce and I get red – both are delicious. If you dine in, they give you chips with beans on top. The beans are very flavorful and the salsas that compliment are great as well. Our favorites are the creamy green salsa and the red.

Got the chile relleno and 2 tamales combo plate. Chili relleno was good. The beel tamale was mostly masa, and pretty dry with very little meat. The pork one was a bit better. Im guessing its hit or miss with the tamales after reading the reviews.

I love tamales! I usually order bomb tamales from a lady 20 miles away. But, I was CRAVING tamales and couldn’t wait for them. So Unilocal sent me to this spot. The lady at front counter was nice and speaks English. As a first timer, I played it safe and tried the pork and chicken tamales. I really like the pork ones as the meat was flavorful. Topped it with the red sauce. Muy bueno!!! The masa was just right. Very moist and on point. The chicken tamales were not bad. But, the filling lacked spice even with the green sauce. The tamales are $ 2.25/a piece or $ 25/dozen. I will be back for the PORK tamales. Hasta la vista!

I had them cater my Christmas party. I ordered 6 dozen tamales, horchata, rice, & beans. They arrived right on time, and brought the food in nice and hot. The tamales were delicious. The masa was flavorful and moist! The meat was delicious and the masa to meat ratio was fantastic! I would be more than happy to use them again. I definitely recommend them.

Food better. Pricing good. Lengua tacos, Menudo, and Chiles Rellenos are excellent.

Wonderful tamales!!! I tried the tamale plate, two tamales and rice & beans, for $ 7.00. I had one chicken and one raja. What a wonderful meal! I haven’t had such incredibly delicious Mexican food for many years! The beans were incredible! I found myself scraping the plate. The tamales were both delicious and they were not greasy, like so many of the others I have tried. They started me off with chips, lovingly covered with beans. They also brought out a guacamole and a green salsa, so I had three to chose from. I really liked the guacamole salsa, but the green was also delicious and allowed me to raise the bar to más picante. Great service! Sorry, no pictures. I was too busy enjoying my meal. The restaurant is small, and in a modest neighborhood, but it is very clean and the ladies working there were very friendly and helpful. As I was finishing my meal, one asked me, ¿Está bien? I told her, ¡Me hizo chupar los dedos! It was finger licking good! When I got there people were there picking up food to go. Tamales cost $ 2.25 or a dozen for $ 25. I may order to go next time, but I’m not leaving Tatiana’s Tamales without a big order of rice and beans! I’ve got to stop writing this review now because just thinking about my meal there yesterday is making me hungry again! :)

Found this place by looking on Unilocal and people were right the tamales here are so tasty. Amazing homemade tamales. The people who owned the place were very friendly. Must try this place. My favorite is the chicken tamales with green sauce. The red beef tamales are nice and spicy and my husband is obsessed with the cheese tamales.

What an awesome gem we found! I’ve been here about 8 time and ever time it’s delicious! The food is consistent, fresh, and extremely tasty! You know they make great tamales when they sell out as the day goes on. The service is pretty good, and if you dine-in, you get a nice plate of chips w/some beans on it. The salsa variety they have here is also awesome & tastes great! I highly recommend all their tamales, el pastor tacos, and if you’re going to order a burrito, make sure you’re ready to share, because it’s huge!

My favorite Tamale of all time was at Grande Bakery in Santa Ana… but they closed down… a quest for the same texture and filling. Honestly Tamales comes. down to preference. At Tatiana the tamale filling is on the dry side. But the meats is fresh and amazing! The flavors are also there! The maza is on the soft dense side, but it taste great. They cost $ 2.25 each or its a dozen for $ 25. The couple that works here are so cute and charming… so it makes it feel welcoming

I eat here every time I get close to Anaheim ca. Everything is great but the chili realanios and the tamales are just wonderful. I have had their carnitas, lingua, birria asada and the lamb barbacoa is sublime! Eat here and thank me later!

Been here 1x for lunch and it was served fairly quick tho I only ordered tamales and taco. Asada taco and beef tamale were tender and delicious. Chicken tamale was good but nothing extraordinary. Would come back to try more. Plenty of seats.

The champurado was heavenly. The tamales ranked in order of insane goodness: pollo, rajas, puerco, beef. Their beans and rice were so good so I can’t imagine how good a burrito would be here. This is now my tamale place…

Never ever coming here again. I don’t understand the overall four star reviews. I got three carne asada burritos and feel as if they’ve stolen from me. There was barely any meat onions and cilantro in my burrito! Might as well name the burrito a «rice burrito» because a carne asada burrito is misleading. The whole burrito was filled with rice… The rice made up 90% of the burrito and everything else 2%. Horrible just horrible. Might as well head over to the alertos right next door. At least they put a generous amount of meat in the carne asada burritos.

came on a weekday around 730 and this place was completely EMPTY. someone(owner?) came out and gave me the menu. I had a combo plate of chili relleno and their FAMOUS tamales(beef pork, one each). They served the chips with beans on it.(DISLIKE!!! but since I don’t like beans, not really going to rate the beans) My food did not take long to come out, I had first bite of chili relleno and was VERY disappointed. It did not taste like it was made to order. It’s more like pre-made and heated maybe with microwave so the outside of chili relleno was soggy. In reality, I never had such good chili relleno after moving out of Corona… every time having chili relleno was a disappointment but at least I expected it fresh!!! The rice did not taste fresh either. I understand it’s a slow night and they close at 9 but… The pork tamale was dry. I even have had better tamale that is the Costco bought and heated in the microwave. I ate beef tamale the next day and it was better than the pork, at least not so dry but flavor was kind bland to my like. He asked me what I want to drink I said water since they do not have anything unsweetened and he brought me a bottle of sparkle water and charged me $ 1.79 for it? Service was very nice and restaurant was clean but food was just so bad that I might not even want to give this place another try.

$ 10 minimum on CC. Friendly Service. They Serve other dishes besides Tamales. You can get the tamales with sour cream and cheese. There are pork, beef, chicken, and rajas(jalapeño and cheese). The strawberry and Pineapple/raisins requires a pre-order. The 3 star rating is strictly on the tamales. It is not the best one and they were a bit dry. I am hoping that they were dry because we got there at 8pm towards the end of the day. The filing have some flavor. I definitely enjoyed the rajas the most.

Tamales. Get. Them. All. My favorite is the pork. Make sure to ask them to have it prepared for you, they’ll make that tamale sexy with all the fixins’! I’m a lover of tamales and will get them wherever I can. The masa used to make the tamale is exceptional and the best I’ve ever had. Another that I really enjoy is the carne asada and al pastor tacos, but be sure to ask for homemade tortilla. The meats are so flavorful and the tortilla will absorb the juices – it’s thoroughly satisfying and I always leave extremely happy. Their tacos are more on the higher end as opposed to many taqueria joints, so I consider this a splurge. There’s a lady who runs the restaurant is extremely nice and she never made it seem like a hassle when I asked for carrots and additional sauces. However, the man is on/off – even as nice as I try to be when asking for additional sauces and limes. Especially, there was one occasion where I was really disappointed when I had asked for my tamale prepared to-go and when I got home it was still in the wrapper. NOT prepared. He’s not the most welcoming which ruins the experience a bit.

Tamales for Dessert? Yup, you can get such choices as strawberry, pineapple and peach tamales for dessert! I also tried the beef, pork, chicken and jalapeño and cheese… all with an ice cold Fanta to wash them down. The chicken was juicy and the beef was a tad dry. My favorite was the pork. They also serve other dishes but boast the Tamales on the sign and menu. Overall, a good place to eat if you are in the area… a very home style feel. I personally feel 3 stars is good, but the little one gave it 4 stars so I’m taking the average and rounding up and including«good for kids.»
