I ordered a shrimp and Chicken TOSTADA BOWL”! I got a flat wheat tortilla with the i teams slapped on top! The cashier still had the guts to tell me thats a TOSTADA BOWL. I then spoke to her in Spanish letting her know whats going on! Then she changed the story! That she could do a TOSTADA BOWL. I just requested my money back. Never coming to this POLLO LOCO. Sad cause there close to Disney business! LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!! Sad there employees are not following standards and lying to customers!

Just wish they’d bring back the carne asada they had going a few months back. LOVED it. Wanted Mgt to see I made a special trip over just get that, but it was discontinued. Glad they’ve added BBs and have a whole wheat tortilla option.

Dirtiest El Pollo Loco I have ever been in. Yuck! A little clean up now and then would be helpful. Trash all over the floor. The salsas are all slopped over into each other. I was afraid to even think about using the bathrooms. I realize the patrons are responsible for the food and trash on the floor, etc., but if your core customers are slobs, clean more frequently!

Bought 2 order of wings and i got all burn. i but it to eat it on my way to work and on my lunch time. and cuoldn returned it yesterday because i work until 2:30am and today i went and they said they couldnt exchange it on the next day basis only on the same day. and wanted to buy two orders today but i told them not to be burn please and the cashier told me they got only one i guess she got mad because i told her because later on she said ok im gonna sale u the 2 order. want to post pivtures but i cant.

I’m so ticked off. This is the second time I’ve come here at 10:15pm because it said open til 11 and the second time they’ve had pretty much no food available. WHY DO YOU EVEN STAY OPEN TIL 11 IF YOU DON’T HAVE ANYTHING AFTER 10? It’s like, «F#ck it, it’s 10. Let’s just stop cooking and serve people Coke.»

My husband and I had dinner here, he got chicken breast and corn on the side. I got the shrimp tacos. Our food came out at the same time, except my husband’s corn, someone was going to bring it out to him. My tacos were warm on one side & cold on the other side, I took them back to the front desk and told someone behind the desk that my tacos were cold. I was told that they get that all the time, that the tacos are cold because of the cabbage, I was offered to put them on the grill, but I refused, because the tortillas were cold and soggy, so I ended up eating my «tacos» cold & with a fork. My husband’s corn didn’t come out until after we were done eating. I don’t know if the cabbage thing is true, I call BS! Also the restrooms are disgusting.

Second time in a row that I order to go breast and wing and I get leg and thigh. Simple mistake but really annoying. One time I get it, but 2 in a row! That’s just wrong.

Staff is very friendly, helpful and courteous. I come here about once a week for the last decade since I work very close. The food is always good. Salsa bar is usually fresh and stocked. For this area it’s pretty nice inside.

If I could I wouldn’t even give a single star. Drive through service is horrible! We ordered a tostada bowl and they gave us an avocado salad. We told them it was wrong and they switched it out for ANOTHER wrong order! We called them back to the drive through window to switch it out again but they refused to come to the window even when we kept calling to them. They KNEW they gave another wrong order so they didn’t come back to the window until we drove off. Worst drive through experience ever. Never going back.

Drove thru restaurant ordered the Tostada Salad and as I started to toss salad realized that some of the lettuce was liquefying (disgusting).Returned the salad and of course was offered another which I declined the AGM pulls a bowl of lettuce out and tells me this is what we serve. As if I went all the way home and dropped bad lettuce into my salad so I could bring it back lol. Instantly I was turned off. If someone on your staff tried to get by serving wilted lettuce (which is obvious) what about the chicken?? So my advice drive to another Pollo Loco n avoid this one.

Damn hate to leave such a bad review but this place messed up my order big time
I asked for a tostada salad and they give me the bacon one. I don’t want bacon in my salad I just wanted some cilantro dressing with a salad. She asked if the cilantro dressing was fine I said absolutely. Get my order NO dressing. Da heck? He trying to tell me something.
Usually get decent service here but damn… I’m pretty upset right now. Oh well.

My favorite fast food chain in the area. Giood value for the money. After a day at Disneyland I was starving and the half chicken combo really hit the spot. Surprisingly moist chicken given that it was split and grilled. I suspect they brine or marinade overnight.

WORST SERVICE EVER! This place has the worst service I had ever experienced. I came to this place and it wasn’t very packed. There was about two people in front of me. I had to wait about 20 minutes to get my order placed. Not a happy camper about that. The salsa bar was DIRTY and UNSTOCKED. I asked for some bigger cups and was not given the same amount of lids. I understand though it could have been a miscount but, she counted them so… I’m not sue if there is an excuse. I was disappointed to see how stingy this El Pollo Loco was. I asked for plates and receive that amount i asked for. I was hoping for some forks, knives and spoons as well but didn’t not receive. Generally at other placed, they are supplied to WITHOUT REQUEST. The staff seem very negative and tired. I would definitely not come back to this place. Sorry but you have lost a customer.

This is not one of the better EPLs around. The service is meh and the portions seem smaller somehow. Weird because you would think their standards are just that, standards. This place is located right off Harbor Blvd, north of Garden Grove Blvd. Parking suxass so drive through is the better option. The inside feels a little run down and the service is prolly what you’d expect at a fast food place (but I have indeed had better at other EPLs).
The portion sizes seem to vary. I understand a lot of the stuff is pre packaged and all, but it is somewhat inconsistent. Sometimes the chicken leg is tiny, like they took it from a quail or a chicken mini-​me or something. «Let the chickens grow so we can have bigger portions gosh darn it!!» I should start a collective socio-​political movement and play the chicken class warfare card on their inconsistent arses… nah, I’ll just get a Chick Fil A sandwich.

Out of the 10+ times I have come here to order Chicken, only 1 time had dry, bland chicken.
I love this location — fast service; juicy, flavorful chicken.
My experience with this place is based on dinner times (6−8pm).
